Wow just got a reply that my magazines were shipped out 5 days after they were purchased and am being told that it takes 10 working days (i.e. weekdays) to arrive. Well given Thanksgiving is coming up, good luck to me getting them in November.

Seriously does it take 15+ working days to fill an order for 3 magazines (not 1000 magazines)?

I would expect this kind of delay from Butterfly labs not The Bitcoin Magazine.

What's the hold up? Seriously?  Angry

10 days is not unusual for intercontinental shipping. My Casascius coins took about 2 weeks for example to get to Europe.
They're coming from Romania... mine arrived yesterday in Oregon.

Received my first Bitcoin Magazine today.  Never really bothered to check it out as asshat MNW was involved and everyone here seem to trash it.

However, I have to say I'm pleasantly surprised.  I've just paged through it (haven't read much) but on first glace - nicely done gentleman.

Vladimir has no doubt been extremely valuable for the magazine and it's sad to see him leave.

Let's not forget that the magazine consists of more than just 1 or 2 dudes, but a whole team commited to the idea of the magazine and working hard for that.

After having hung out with Mihai in London and afterwards in Sheffield for a couple of intense days (and nights, I can tell you) I can assure you he easily has what it takes to run this show. He's been the goto guy for the mags coordination and managment anyway, even back in the days when Mr. Wright was still part of the endeavour.

Mihai is in fact the creator of the magazine (see "Editor's Rant" in issue #4).

So rest assured, the mag is alive and kicking.

I'll repost here exactly what I posted on the other thread:

Exactly. It's not. Mihai may not be prominent on the forums, but he has been in fact the most important person in the magazine's production all the way from when the idea was first conceived last September, and I trust him in this business both in integrity and in competence completely. We have a strong team onboard with prominent members of the Bitcoin community participating, so the magazine will only get stronger.

Magazine is doing just fine, and is only going to get better from here.

You DO know that Vladimir just resigned and this is probably akin to the death of the Magazine?

No actually I did not know this. But that doesn't mean that I can't purchase something that could be very educational and perhaps worth something in the future, if there are collectors.

$20 isn't much to worry myself about.
