inquiring minds should read the posts again for that information, i'm tired of repeating it, tired of the accusations, tired of the constant bickering bullshit. I'm as real and genuine as they come., and I don't owe anyone here shit, barring a couple neptune orders... you guys are safe..  always have been.

Agusto Croppo (sp?) is legally entitled to the reward, under the law of very state in the Union.  He did everything that could be possibly expected under these circumstances to procure the return of the bitcoins.

Reward offers are legally binding (even if only verbal, and in this case they are in writing).

Apparently, Phoenix and Maui have decided to ignore the reward issue, in spite of the fact that they got exactly what they wanted as a result of their reward offer:  The work of highly skilled computer experts to track their BTC (with no guarantee of success).

Time for the sleuths to get the real names of Phoenix and Maui so he can get his reward.

And BTW, this was pretty cool.  The free market of ideas at work.  Not pretty, but it works.

if you used your brain and had read the thread better, you'd see augusto was indeed rewarded,
https://bitcointalksearch.org/topic/m.4829186

as was another...
one is refusing to be rewarded (Avenger)
his loss. I know there's at least a couple happy campers out there!
QUESTION??

are they all being rewarded what was promised/stated here on forum, or are they being "TIPPED"?

rewarded means their work resulted in the job done....

tip is more like a gift for someone already being paid to do a job but provided extra/excellent service

either you are pregnant or you are not prego

either they did the job or they didn't

boy i love mysterys
inquiring minds would like to know

I think there were others who got roped into this as well via other means. Such as Facebook, Twitter and more importantly via Google Ads.

I trust that all the others that were not a part of this forum are also receiving refunds ?

There was quite a bit more BTC totaled up in the two suspects wallets than what has been paid back.

this has been my point all along. it's an ongoing investigation of what may have turned out to be a massive fraud. Regardless of what has currently been refunded, the perpetrators should still be afforded that ride in a police car and their devices checked for wallets by the police. What we caught here was a known crime of around $100,000 - without looking into what may have been paid via other methods of advertising.

and whoever reckons ASICMiner are going to have 20nm chips rolling out within the next 6-12 months - YOU ARE LIVING IN A DREAMWORLD.

http://www.decryptedtech.com/news/tsmc-starts-mass-production-of-20-nm-chips

^get in line behind Intel, Vodaphone, Apple, Hutchison 3G, The Construction Industry...( here you may insert makes of white goods, green innovations and others... in fact, probably over 250 other companies wishing to bid to use this tech...) THE LIST IS ENDLESS.. and then we have bitcoin mining manufacturers IF WE ARE LUCKY, SOMETIME CLOSE TO 2016.

Hey Fast Freddy, those poor deaf/blind people at the home you work need attention and caregiving...you have been ignoring them for 4 or 5 nights now.
This thread has run its course...the fat lady already sang. Also that car engine that runs on water needs more tweaking, not ready for prime time. Wink

lol the day staff get upset if we hang out when they are supposed to be sleeping..(er what part of NIGHT staff in a deaf/blind house for developmental disabled don't you get...ie if they get sick or there is a fire or other issues....like wander out the door....it is a NIGHT STAFF job. all i have to do is hang here and keep my ears open..they are not that stealthy..we do kick back in the am though at breakfast at which point i DO hang out )

sheesh

Everyone here got back exactly what they paid in. Most importantly Dave got his coins back in full.

Not sure what the hell to say about the Hawaii fucking 5-0 bros. They are your headache not mine.

I am going to assume that you are a bit naive based on your responses and just make a suggestion that you might want to keep a better eye on who you associate with Wink

thank you for this info....went over thread 2x missed it

duh

as for the brothers been on skype with phoenix1969  for the last 2 months ..mainly the swedish knc miners forum on here
he has no reputation problems on that thread has helped too many people with equipment issues

as to skype imho it is hard to fake the pain of losing 70 btc imho..mainly what comes thru is the 'embarassment' of having to explain how you got in that boat from my end anyway seemed

lets just say 'kicking oneself for being to quick to pull the trigger" is a massive understatement

you wanna find out about someone on here ask to skype them...no problem at my end here

an't that hard

feel free to pm me i you want i got nothing to hide neither do they imho (except embarasement imho)

now that they got BTC back they are gonna get 'legitimately razzed" but that is much different then 'accused"

see also post #163.  don't know if that helps.

Does not seem so far fetched now does it ?

Not at all, very suspicious posts even today

I read UK's post history & I've chatted with Searing MANY,MANY times on BFL's chat box around April/May/June.Trying to get him NOT to keep ordering more of BFL's crap,he did anyhow.............

Searing acted like he was new to mining there & UK say's he's been mining 3 years...............pretty good at deception IF they are the same person.

P.S.I make no assumptions, just my HO  Undecided

BTW,Congrats on rooting this scam out & getting the refunds guys!!!!!!!!!!!!  Grin

hey not you too..and yes i did the BFL orders and you did warn me and .i did and i think i thanked you dump 147gh the last day i could on about 1/2 of the BFL stuff i got..after that no refunds..i think  you also thought i was nuts to order knc but at least i did so with credit card and paypal that time also i think that was your advice...

so no complaints with unacceptable at my end (but bfl had them pretty pics and reporters getting free equip writing new/fun reviews ...ah my innocence lost as a noob)

and also feel free to pm me we can talk on skype

crap having so much fun on here finding out everyone thinks boring middleaged me is a UK desperado with a british accent ..burned my T.V. dinner....

heh ah the price of infamy

Read through the last 14 or so pages, just when I though I had it, I lost it  Huh

So Rebecca's Internal foundry is actually some guys rear posterior,
somebody knows who but does not want to admit how they found out,
some probing of others ip's happened
and searing became an evil genius overnight

Perhaps we need a policeman mod on the forums, with the soul job of checking ip's for scams and socks.

At least that 1 person who was defiantly scammed got his coin back, hey wait, that's suspicious, perhaps it was him all along..

Does not seem so far fetched now does it ?

well not sure about that myself...either i was quoted by that guy or somehow managed to muck it up..i assumed i was quoted w/o a link or whatever was done

at least it now makes sense everyone thinks i'm a criminal genius....

pm me we can do skype...if you still buy this after talking with me  that well .....not much i can do to 'unprove' at that point huh?

(this is still funny as hell...heh.....my little bit of fame ...i'm a  'shady character" in a bitcoin thread...i assume this happens to everone eventually right on bitcointalk?)

I was scammed here in this forum for 1,6 BTC , so all this thread means i can find the guy who did it?? And someone could help me on that?

if this is legit contact phoenix1969 or someone else scammed (or someone who knows on here) and find out the details.....those 4 guys given btc back.....did not spend 144 btc which when they pulled the plug was what i saw in the www.ctsminer.com bitcoin address (its on here someplace don't have it offhand) so yeah i'm sure there are others perhaps not aware of this forum even ..who found www.ctsminer.com on google or whatever...and have no idea of a 'possible' refund offer ...assuming it is legit and gone thru (which i myself am not sure of yet?)

Ok fuck it.

Jnbitcoin is either Searing or Aussiepete.

Whichever of those two that live in the UK is most likely Jnbitcoin.

Who earlier today had 100 BTC for sale on https://bitcointalksearch.org/topic/m.4819341 and now the profile is deleted.

Edit:

I stand corrected. It is not deleted. It only as 1 btc left in it.

And BTW, this was pretty cool.  The free market of ideas at work.  Not pretty, but it works.

if the 'extorter" gives the btc back and it is community effort..how do you figure?..myself i'd give those involved a lump sum of not a 10% finder fee but 15% or maybe more...but 80% for a bunch of folks yelling and helping to get the btc back from the scammers.. 80% well ....imho that kinda beats up the people scammed...ie they lost btc then have to give most of btc back because the 'extorers' got cold feet..seems a very thin thread for 80% on such

heck that is too vague in my book but again this is what i'd do....the 10% or more finder fee should apply to all that helped according to their efforts..if it was just one or two guys only then i'd have to rethink the above and up the percentage ..maybe evne up to 80%..i don't have the facts

but man lose the btc...get a gift from god out of the blue refund by extorters.then have to give the 80 percent back..because users helped (could have been FBI for all we know) imho this is a streach..unless it just 1 guy or 2 guys who did most of the work (which could be i suppose)

(man am i gonna get slammed on this)

hey at least i'm truthful..keep this in mind when i get taken on something (hopefully co-ed stripper getttng my BTC ....a guy can dream)
