I couldn't count this as good publicity because she is basically doing random picture with Bitcoin and also is asking for a donation about one. Additionally Bitcoin is physically non-existent and what she is doing is potentially confusing new people that Bitcoin actually has a physical form. She may actually misled them in thinking that Bitcoin is like Fiat currency which can be touch and be transacted without the help of the internet. I am hoping for the best about this Bitcoin blogger but posting about things with an explanation will actually help a lot.
Not really, and try not be negative
If you consider 3k+ impressions and 400-600 likes from a diverse audience not good publicity in an area (Instagram) that lacks ANY publicity at all, then I don't know what to say to that
There's another message about the topic of using physical "bitcoins" in this thread and it's actually spot on - have a read!
I think the best part about your post is that they are taking pictures in public setting with a physical bitcoin
I know to most of us we understand we don't need a physical bitcoin. But it helps show many people what bitcoin is and what it can do. a lot of people are still confused on what bitcoin is and all that.
I have previously shown my friend using a physical litecoin what it was for. The physical litecoin comes with an address you can send funds to. Under the holographic sticker there is a passphrase or password thing, you use that to withdraw the funds from that address. the cool thing about that is that you can store it some place safe and hidden and use at a later date. It can't be hacked. Only if someone found it and knew what it was would you be in trouble.
That helped my friend understand what bitcoin/litecoina nd other crypto is and how it can be useful as a store of value and securly stored.
She is not confusing any new people about Bitcoin not being physical. If you think a post on Instagram full of words, explanations or technical discussion will interest anyone, then you really don't know how Instagram works!
BTW, the last time I emailed the blogger, she mentioned that a few people had DM-ed her asking for more information about Bitcoin and about BCH (like how to obtain it) and other information.
I'd say, she's doing a pretty good job and you should support/encourage her!
