I believe ETH can be the next big thing, as I believe altcoins are the way to go and BTC will keep on losing it's dominance.

It is best to start on altcoin. Altcoins do have low prices now. In a year time it may rise like bitcoin now a days. Let's just think possitive. But bitcoin is still the best when it comes to solid foundation.

I will choice both bitcoin and altcoin, because the more the many income to have. Bitcoin is still my first choice because as long we hold the high potential of the profit. Altcoin because last week the price of bitcoin is stable so, I try to invest also in the altcoin and I enjoy on it now I earn also in both of them.

It is true that some of the altcoins have given huge amounts of returns when compared to Bitcoin. For example, the exchange rates of XEM has increased by 15,000x during the last 18 months. But I have made my decision to stick with Bitcoin despite the attractiveness of big profits. Loyalty matters.

I do not own any bitcoin currently, only invested in Ethereum and a couple of more altcoins. Given the fact that the possible return in altcoins is a lot more than the one from bitcoin, it is the best bet a small-size investor could make in 2018.

I think bitcoin is we will always be more good over altcoins, why? I said that because we all know that bitcoin is the best cryptocurrency among the rest and bitcoin has a more chance that the value of it will rised or increse its value, and bitcoin help me to have many money last december 2017 because the value of bitcoin is pump even more than $19000.

Why not both ? I mean both bitcoin and altcoins are really potential, just go find the best time to invest on this 2 coins bitcoins and altcoins. I invest on bitcoin and altcoin too, the results are good though. Combined both will get a maximum profit for me.

What are you talking about? Don't you know that almost now investors go with alts because of bitcoin transactions fee is so high. Well, if you want really to earn a lot of money with alts you need to wait and be wise enough to predict.

Yes, in time some altcoins will grow high like bitcoin and some will fail too, but what you need to remember is bitcoin price didn't grow over night. it took years before reaching where it is today. Therefore, if you are willing to invest your money and waited for long then altcoins are the best option.

IT is not about popularity it is about marketcap of the crypto. IF you have a consistency of marketcap of a crypto and you can keep it on top , people move from BTC to that XXX crypto.

Bitcoin has been a great investment for this year so far, but so have many other cryptocurrencies. In fact I believe that some of them have done even better than Bitcoin. You would have to look at the prices of some of them like Ethereum and Litecoin etc to see if any have outperformed Bitcoin. Regardless, many have done very well this year which is a good sign for cryptocurrencies in general. It means there is a demand for it.
