I am sure everyone is aware about the rise of altcoins like ETH and Litecoin so I just want to know expert's opinion whether to invest in bitcoin or altcoins as the price of bitcoin is too high now for an individual to invest into it ? Do you think these altcoins will survive and pump just like bitcoin or its better to stick to bitcoin ?
If you are interested in the stability of profitability that you can get in the long run bitcoin would be a good choice. But altcoin can be twice as profitable for you, but it's too risky to make a loss if you make the wrong choice.....

You can't go wrong with owning some BTC long term even if the price is up but I'd also diversify. There are a lot of great teams behind some very exciting projects. So, Hold both!
Why dont just hold both! if you are a new investor it make sense to take a look at this 2017 overall performance of the top 10 cryptos.. you would notice that if you where a noob it would have made sense to have more alts.
Holding both are good as this are profitable. But choose those altcoins that has a feel price to be rised. Hold both is a good idead and always check the prices this will be a good in your investment. 
I prefer altcoin because altcoin prices tend to be more stable to be stored or sold while bitcoin is too fluctuating so sometimes bitcoin prices may decrease dramatically or vice versa.
This is a lie, altcoins are not more stable than bitcoin, alts move a lot more for several reasons, the lower market cap makes them more susceptible to being manipulated, if you think bitcoin going up or down 40% is a lot you have not seen alts move 300% or more in a single day.

It's still not too late to invest in BTC, even if the market price is really high at the moment. You could still spare a good amount of investment in buying them and HOLD, which I'm also currently doing. Besides, we are nearing the last month of 2017 (December), and if you are not aware, it is forecast-ed that the market price will reach $10,000 or even more. Heck, it is already $9.8k as of this typing. 
You can also experiment investing with Altcoins, which I believe will survive, once after the BTC price surge is over and remain constant.
Bitcoin proves it stability in the market in terms of value, It has been in the market for almost a decade, and remain strong and very profitable investment. Bitcoin still promises a bright future to its holders even it reaches a very high price, since we do not really know the ceiling on its price. But trying to invest in other altcoin is not a bad idea. Just make a proper research on it to avoid big losses and counter possible negative result. Even altcoin will increase in its value even the eth I will still stick my investment to bitcoin, I am loyal with it because I know that bitcoin will not be dead today, tomorrow and the next years and I know that if I will just stick my investment and hold for it 5 years from now I could become rich just like other people.

I would choose to invest in good alt coins such as ETH since it is stable and not so volatile. Bitcoin is still a bit risky as of this time i think.

I prefer to trade altcoin rather than trading bitcoin because with altcoin trading the price is still cheap to reduce the level of risk of losing assets that we have.
Aside from Bitcoin, there are other alts that are good to invest. Like what you have said, Ethereum and Litecoin is one. Look for other alts that have unique platform that can contribute to solve our world's problem.

i think no, because as i see bitcoin is still have a higher value above them all therfor bitcoin is still the most profitable among other coins. however alts can be good and most suitable for trading and you can still make unlimeted income on trading rather than investing . in my case i only invest in bitcoin because i dont have much capital to start trading even though i love to try trading because most of my friends are now doing trading ever since i thought them on how to use crypto to earn an income online.

There are alots of altcoins that born every month. And their price will raise or go down in one-day. It's so difficult to choose a potential altcoin.

From my experience with both btc and alts I can surely say that alts bring much more profit than btc itself, but on the other hand the risk of losing is also high with alts, but I love it.
I suggested you to invest both of them. Half of your capital invest to bitcoin and half for altcoins. You should invest below one dollar for more profit. But it's your strategy to select which coins are good and have potential in the future.

First thing's first. Remember the fact that this market offers micropayments, So you may not have enough to buy one full bitcoin but you can put any amount into bitcoin and get a fraction of a coin.
To answer your question though, invest in BOTH! You have nothing to lose, The entire market is essentially on the rise. Also you have to remember that bitcoin and altcoins are all built on different blockchains meaning that they all solve different world issues, So why just stick to one side?
I am trusting more on altcoins now. But before I was inclined in bitcoin. Because I know that bitcoin is the greatest coin there's ever been and alt coins are not that trusted and could just dump all the way down. But now, I realized the real essence of alts, and I can say that alts are great coins also. It just need your attention.
LOL mate, I hope you made the correction decision shifting to alts. Have you heard of a pump-and-dump scheme? Although there's really a handful of alts that is really good technology wise, but most of them are just for pump-and-dump scheme and it will be very unfortunate once you are trapped and didn't get out it time.
I can't blame you for moving to alts because I'm sure you go tired of all this scalability problems that have been plaguing us for years now, high tx fees and slow confirmations. But Lightning Network could be the long solution that we are all been waiting for. We just have to put or trust on it once it gets implemented sooner that we think.
for trading - alternative altcoins, because i think will be max profit. For holding - bitcoin or etherium.The choice is yours. Good luck
It will depends on market you can earn also max profit in bitcoin trading in just a week for me holding altcoins is more profitable especially those coins have promising roadmaps.Jump to:
