Bitcoin and other altcoins like ethereum are both safe. But there are many differences between bitcoin investment and ethereum investment. You gain with bitcoin in long time period. Bitcoin has less risks than ethereum. Ethereum has more instant fluctuations. Therefore you can gain or lose much with it.

bitcoin is the safest place to invest and is good for long-term investing, plus bitcoin is the first trusted and trusted crypto currency. if for altcoin is actually more profitable to invest and trade, because altcoin has more potential in trade, but you must be smart and careful, because in altcoin there is a lot of deception and everything.

I believe that bitcoin is much more profitable than altcoin ! investing on altcoin is very risky there was a high probability that the dev will leave the coin if given a high pressure however in bitcoins no one control it and if you will see the bitcoin history it much better and safer to invest on it than any other altcoin

Regarding To The Topic, I will Not Doubt to Say and Answer you, It is Bitcoin, Leading Coin and Very Profitable, you just Have To Be Watchful If You Want An Easy Money, You wait For The Price Goes Down Within Just A 1000k USD, and Then Convert All Your Fiat To BTC and Wait For The Price Rise Again adding 1000k USD, and if it Rise Up Convert it Again To Fiat And If it Goes Down Again Convert again to BTC. Bitcoin Is The safest and Best Choice among Crypto/Digital Currency, and The Way To More Profit.

I think there is nothing safer of the both because altcoin and bitcoin have fluctuating price. but for me, the more profitable is altcoin because altcoin can change faster than bitcoin and also so many choices of excellent altcoin and it will certainly make you more easily get a lot of profit in altcoin.

depending on whether you are looking for long-term or short-term investments. Because whatever it is altcoin type it will come back again we exchange into the form of bitcoin. But my advice if you want short-term investments is better choose altcoin, because many new altcoin are holding ICO token sale, that's a good chance.

I agree but investing in an altcoin is a gamble , you might get a high amount of profit in a short time and you might also lose it on a short time ! investing in altcoin is much challenging than bitcoin , so for safer investment I'll go for bitcoins !

I fully support you but I want to say that this is not to say that bitcoin should not modernize. You cannot rest on its laurels. Life makes its own adjustments. Without the trade in bitcoins is in any time can become a useless asset. Problems of cost of small transactions and the speed of the transaction process need to be addressed.

I am still with Bitcoin, as i believe that what ever is happening is nothing but attacking bitcoin technology and now they want to promote Bitcoin cash. But you can see after pumping BCH/BCC they were not able to do anything and just left it and now bitcoin price is back to ATH.

For me bitcoin is more safe and profitable, why would people use bitcoin and prefer it if there is another currency that will help them, it means that bitcoin is more reliable than altcoin, and why would big companies and big groups will use bitcoin if their is another choice, thats why bitcoin is growing because people want it very bad and they choose it becuase they feel safe when they use bitcoin.

Dont agree with you about "long and short term'. It doesnt matter at all. So I think that altcoins are more profitable than BTC, you should just learn about new coins which can moon.

I think Bitcoin is safer, but Altcoins are more profitable.
My conclusion is long-term=Bitcoin and shortt-term=Altcoins.
I actually invest my 50% of money for Bitocin and other 50% for Altcoins.

Investing in bitcoin will always be profitable and the safest way of investing in crypto, as you can see it already recovered sitting at 7.7k right now. However alts can be more profitable if you're a good trader but it's a gamble to invest in them, you may earn big or lose everything you invested. There are some exceptions though.

I choose altcoin. the reason is simple, because for now I lack capital if bitcoin deposit. different from a few years ago, in one deposit I can still buy one or two bitcoins. but now the price is fantastic.
so, i prefer altcoin, i collect through bounty. at the right time exchanged to btc.

i think the concept safe and profitable are very opposite to each other, how can you earn much money if you dont want to take any risks, choosing a safe way is good but having brave and invest in somethings risky like bitcoin can bring you so much profit, so if you want a safer way you can choose investing in altcoins.
