As a fresher into bitcoin and crypto currencies, I will advise you go into investing in ethereum, not bitcoin (ie when you come in with fiat). If you can sell some altcoins to buy bitcoin in trading, that will be more better, but when it comes to bitcoin, buying a full bitcoin is too expensive.

Try to invest in eth too. Price is obviously lower than bitcoin but maybe in the future its price will get higher like what's happening now with bitcoin. Bitcoin is "still" the best cyrptocurr out there but there's no harm trying out other currency too.
Make some risks, those who are millionaires now because of bitcoin took risks too.
I'm very little while in the field of Crypto-currency, but I think the etherium has quite good prospects and I invested a little of my money in it. Although the emphasis is on bitcoin.
if you have enough money for investment, then I suggest both of them. But if you just want to choose one of them, I think I will choose Eth cause it may jump high in the following days. Of course, investing in bitcoin will never be a bad idea, but if you want to earn a lot with small amount money, I think you'd better choose the altcoin.
I personally think bitcoin is better than ethereum
ether is the future. it's 250x faster than bitcoin.

Ahh noo! Why not both? A very difficult question! It's a wise idea to have both. I have been interested in eth since last year. I'm sure its value will rise.

Why choose if you could have both. If we are talking about security and profitability, either is a good choice. Bitcoin grows tremendously just within days and weeks compared to ETH so I prefer Bitcoin. However, diversifying is good for this type of world. I suggest that you buy some Bitcoin and some Ethereum. This way, if one goes down, you have another asset you could hold on. BCH is a promising option as well, just a suggestion, though.

I would say bitcoin because you can get more profit by investing in bitcoins while ethereum is very steady and growth is very slow as well. Both are good coins for long term investment but bitcoin does provide higher return than ethereum.
i can't make my mind between them, both good you choosee, you won't make a mistake
I think its a good idea to spread your portfolio to more coins. If one goes down. Second one can save your profit. To be safe i recommend buy at dip
bitcoin and Ethereum both are good, but both are different, and they have reason for different, bitcoin know to people 143 million people and Ethereum know to people 43million. but I have choose bitcoin cause bitcoin increase very rapidly and bitcoin have future more then Ethereum!
Diversification is KEY when investing. Lets say you put all your money in bitcoin which is doing really well at the moment. Some crazy FUD could wreck that market for a while and you are stuck holding this coin for a long time waiting for it to appreciate again. But if you diversify, only some of you money will be temporarily lost (Depending on if you HODL or sell) in bitcoin and your holdings in Ethereum could easily go up. Never put all you eggs in one basket.
In the room on the shingle, there are ethers and bitcoins. The second has already reached its well-deserved popularity and is leading in value. But I believe that the ether has no less bright prospects.
You should go for the ethereum coins because it has the less value as compare to the bitcoin but has the good popularity in market and now ethereum will also taste the high value after some time.
If you have much money, let invest in Bitcoin. That's always the best choice. If not, let buy Ethereum
