Indeed both if them have potential but in my opinion only bitcoin will value more even if more time pass, and Ethereum can also grow and someone make some profit from Ethereum also.
Both of them have potential in the future. bitcoin as a rising race for altcoins at the moment and ethereum has been successful in developing lots of projecks on the platform so in my opinion this is indeed very good. when we are interested in investing in both of them now is the chance.
There's no point guys to determine which of them will be the future. What we need to evaluate is the usefulness and functionality of these coins in our current systems. Right now, mainstream adoption is still an issue for the whole cryptocurrency. I'm more concerned on how governments will adopt cryptocurrency as a whole.
maybe if it happened, not overall, but it will happen to some assets first. like bitcoin and ethereum, and maybe that can trigger growth for other assets even though there is no adoption of all crypto assets. 
I used to assume before now that bitcoin is the all and all of crypto, maybe because discovered bitcoin before other cryptos like ethereum. But over time, that assumption is at the verge of being reversed. This is because i now discovered that apart from being a means of exchange, ethereum also has the power of smart contract. Which do you think is better and has great future?
I cannot choose between the two, due to both are really good hold in a long term. Although, Bitcoin was still the king of digital currency and Ethereum will remain next into Bitcoin position. In terms of price value in the market Bitcoin has still remain the highest value here and in terms of good usages in smart contract Ethereum is the best for it.

Yes, Bitcoin and Ethereum are the best Cryptocurency coins to invest in the long term and are the most popular because they have very good potential in the future.

No need to ask this question anymore. BTC is king and ETH is going to hold second place. I can't see any real alternative to the ETH and other platforms are not strong to compete with the ETH. EOS and Waves need to develop their project for reaching the level of ETH.
This shouldn't be a question anymore. We all agree that bitcoin is better than Ethereum. If Ethereum is better then compare it with other altcoins, it's the king of altcoins and smart contracts that produced a lot of tokens. The future of cryptocurrency is truly exciting and promising and seeing the value of our portfolio's grow so fast, you will now see on how exactly it is lovely to believe on it. Having eth and btc on your portfolio is a great combination and diversification.
Both cryptocurrencies are great coins and will survive in the coming years. However, I believe bitcoin will still be the future cryptocurrency because of its volatility and popularity. Bitcoin is the father of cryptocurrency.

in my opinion the best for now and forever is Bitcoin, because no one can beat Bitcoin including Ethereum, so I'm sure until whenever Bitcoin will still be the king of all cryptocurrency, therefore I suggest you to invest in Bitcoin if you want to get a big profits in the future.
In my own personal opinion, bitcoin is the future cryptocurrency because it is the first cryptocurrency that was ever created by an anonymous person which they called satoshi nakamoto and it the top coin in the market, that is why i consider bitcoin that has a potential to have a better price. I also think that ethereum has a potential to increase it's price like bitcoin because a lot of people are buying and holding eth. Right now, i am also interested in finding a good trading platform which i can easily convert my fiat into bitcoin and vice versa. Then i found Darb where it is a trusted wallet and a good exchange of cryptocurrency and fiat.

These two coins has the great potential of long term investments. Either of the two has the right to become the greatest future of cryptocurrency because bitcoin and ethereum are the two coins that top the coinmarketcap, and also has the most volume supply in the market.
I am fully confident that Bitcoin is the market leader. I think Bitcoin will always be king. I bet on Bitcoin. Most of my capital invested is bitcoin.
The fast growth of btc way back on 2017 was the biggest pump of coin in all time and because of so many investments on btc it rise to an grear price,so no doubts that btc will still the best coin on the future.and even ita hardfork before its popularity never fades.

I am fully convinced that the BTC will continue to remain a confident king of the crypto market, hardly anyone will be able to compete with it in the near future. But Ethereum is in fact an excellent coin with real chances for successful development and price increase from the middle of next year.
