it is easy to pick the best cryptocurrency of all, it's Bitcoin, the price of bitcoin fluctuative all the time, making it a better coin for trading, moreover, bitcoin itself has higher chance to be be pumped usually in the future, so choosing it for holding longterm or tading shortterm is both profitable, but if you are the one want to have altcoins that are useful, then using ETH to invest in ICOs is a good idea.

I'm sure that bitcoin will die much earlier than ethereum, and bitcoin will die exactly, but ethereum can never die

I think bitcoin and ethereum are two coin of high safety and profitability. We will not have the exact answer as to which investment is more lucrative. By market as a graph, at the up there will be a down time. So, to do business in the cryptocurrency market, we need to analyze and take the opportunity to invest which one is the best at the time.

I know it is an old topic. However, I would like to get some more fresh insights after the recent deep from experts and holders of both Bitcoin and Etherium. I have a little bit of both. However, I am hesitant with enlarging further my Bitcoin or Etherium portfolio. My brain says, Bitcoin will stay #1 for a minimum of few years. My heart says Etherium should grow significantly and finally overcome Bitcoun in the upcoming years. Not sure which one to chose as a long-term investment.
Ethereum I continue to monitor its development. but these few weeks continue to show a decline. I'm a little worried, and I do not want Ethereum anymore. I will be back with Bitcoin.

Both bitcoin and ethereum are suitable for long term investment, and promise to bring a lot of profits to investors. In recent days, the cryptocurrency market fell sharply, bitcoin and ethereum prices fell to very low levels, bitcoin is available now at $ 6570 and ethereum is currently priced at $ 366, which is great for us to buy more  bitcoin and ethereum. I would choose to buy more bitcoin because bitcoin will bring me more profit. If ethereum wants to beat bitcoin then it will take a lot of time.

In terms pf practicality and development etehreum should be the first, because of in a short time it attracted a lot of investments due to its capability of providing and opening a whole window of ideas for developers and investors to implement the blockchain technology into many fields like transportation and social media and many fields through ICOs, and this where etehreum has advantage on bitcoin, bitcoin only focus on the finical field but since it has been on the field for a while it has become very popular and it has a strong base so it is not going to fall that easy, they are both great investments but with the recent banning of ICO related ads ethereum has been taking a hit and it is going to take a while before it comes back again, so bitcoin will always be the number one cryptocurrency investment.

This is a very complex question, and it’s next to impossible to give a definite answer.  These have their pros and cons. Bitcoin  it certainly is the most popular and successful as of now. Ethereum, this currency has seen more than impressive growth. So options are there. But choose you

I choose both. because both have their own potential for the world of Cryptocurrency. and both also have their own positions in running the business. and they are coins that have high interest and high marketing percentage.

a difficult choice but I prefer bitcoin because the king of the market is still a bitcoin. I think the populace is in many different places all over the world and I do not think it is likely to end, but the ethereum is also a very good coin
But if you choose both because both are the same can give you the advantage to invest and think eth can compete with bitcoin someday, but the value may be greater than btc, then invest. It might be possible both sides are good in terms of...

We really dont need to compare both because both of them have potentials. We all know and believe that both would be very valuable in the future. Especially now that the crypto trader community have significantly increase in number, so i believe the demand for both coins would be high.

I have no doubt between to these two cryptocurrencies which has a great ability to create a higher value in the future. But i still prefer to bitcoin, not because it has the highest value, but all altcoins including ethereum are just following on bitcoins market value. Because every price dropped of bitcoin is always followed of dropping of all altcoins.

For now, I prefer Ethereum because bitcoin cannot be predicted when it will rise again and Ethereum has the potential and fluctuations in the value of the price slightly compared with bitcoin but Ethereum is more stable and has a fast currency exchange rate easily
Price of bitcoin has characteristic. if rises can 100% or 200% same vice versa if down. when rises you would become king but if down you would become a slave. different with ETH, when rises or down is slowly but surely.
