bitcoin is the king of all coins, the new coin developers are all triggered on bitcoin, till this has not yet created a bru coin without triggering it into bitcoin, but I think bitcoin will get a tough competitor the next few years, along with the development of cryptocurrency

nothing bad for to invest in other cryptocins i think for now cryptocoin goes dump but i believe in the near future cryptocoin goes uprise like the father of all coins the bitcoin sometimes goes down and if the bitcoin go uprrise the value are very nice increase, so you can invest also in bitcoin for at the lower price value because bitcoin now are currently dip but i believe bitcoin uprise again. both are good invesment but you need to decide what is the best for you.

Bitcoin is the main cryptocurency and that is the big reason why bitcoin is still strong than other cryptocurrency, bitcoin is the most popular to many people that are using crypto currency here in this world.
Bitcoin is acceptable in different country in this world so bitcoin is strong enough as digital money that we can use easy we can use bitcoin in online shopping and many other things likely.

You will never find any similarities from the original one to an alternative coin but the differences is still obvious as the price and it's increasing power will just a measures of what bitcoin is. It start from years before on top and will last until more than 50 years and still be on top. Most alternative coins lasted only years and dumped but not really all, like Litecoin but bitcoin maybe still available for the next generation.
Certainly bitcoin. Since bitcoin is the first crypto, bitcoin also has the largest community with so bitcoin will always exist, prices are rising as well as many online shops that accept payments and transactions with bitcoin
Long term safest (for as far as you can call crypto investments "safe") investment imho is bitcoin.

Bitcoin is the first and the original and that is partly the big reason why it remains on its throne right now as the King of Cryptocurrency. Of course, it is not guaranteed that any original will really succeed as we know that some may not even make it into the daylight of the market. Bitcoin has proven itself to be so resilient after all the challenges it had gone though and this also form a big part of its allure.
Above all else, everything is determined by the acceptance by the market. Without a good critical mass of people getting into something like Bitcoin, we could not expect anything to be successful. The more adopters and the more users, the better is the chance for anything to be known and to be established in the market...now same is true with Bitcoin.
All the other coins and tokens (for that matter) without exception owed their existence to the success of Bitcoin. Without Bitcoin showing the door and making things possible, all other coins will not be here today. No wonder all are categorized simply as alternative coins.

Bitcoin is the reason why other coins exist. Bitcoin is the original and the others are just "copycats" but maybe not entirely cause they have other purpose as well but the technology that inspired them was started by bitcoin. Bitcoin has strong community support, largest number of users and supported by various personalities that has strong influence to people. It's the most popular coin and though there are others who want to be with the level like bitcoin or even surpass it, no coin is successful yet.
I think its crazy amount of value and market cap!

There is a new coin out called DeepOnion which has some innovations over Monero (both are meant to be used to essentially guarantee anonymity for the dark web). I would suggest looking into it. The price is rallying hardcore.
DeepOnion just crashed, so now is the perfect time to buy. I bought thousands of them and can't wait until a week from now when the price rebounds back up and I will make a solid profit.
Bitcoin investment is single side investment. Profit and loss depend on up and down but through the bitcoin if you buy any coin which comes in top 20 then for long time it will give you huge profit. Because bitcoin go up and your buy coin goes up.in that case you will earn a handsome amount in future.

the thing that makes bitcoin unmatched is that more and more people are interested in bitcoin because bitcoin is easy to trade and has good security. It makes a lot of people who believe in bitcoin and love it, including me. 
Because bitcoin is the king of altcoin others, its supporters are strong, easy to trade and unlikely to be a scam, many people are trading only dibitcoin, dislike altcoin ,, but I prefer trading in altcoin.
First, Bitcoin is the mother of all coins. It is the original crypto currency and all other altcoins are dependent on Bitcoin. Second, it is more developed compared to others. Some are just starting their development. And lastly, it is really decentralized unlike some coins which claim to be decentralized also but the real thing is that it is being controlled by its developer.
Personally I think if Bitcoin fails, there's going to be a lot of scepticism around other coins for quite a while, unless some seriously crazy PR happens. My grandmother has heard of Bitcoin. Ask her about other altcoins, not so much...
If Bitcoin fails, we can kiss cryptocurrencies goodbye! There is simply no way they others will survive if Bitcoin dies at this stage. Maybe sometime down the road, but not this early into it's development.
