i think both of them are ok. you can separate your budget to invest 2 coins. the market is affected by bad news from China and South Korea. But I always believe they will recover soon. No one can kill cryptocurrency

to my opinion, i dont like to invest in ripple very much because ripple is just a cryptocurrency which is made a group that works for banks benefits, so there are no such thing called decentralized in Ripple, i don't like that so i will choose to invest in bitcoin morever, bitcoin has more value and higher profit in the future when i choose to invest in bitcoin rightnow.

At the end of the day, ripple is still a centralized coin and does not have the spirit of decentralization/crypto. It represents the exact system Bitcoin is attempting to replace. For this reason I'd choose BTC.
Exactly the point I will choose Bitcoin to. Ripple seems to have a great team. But it certainly lacks the spirit we all go for I think.

RISE WITH RAYS FOR THE FUTURE

It is not correct to compare them. Bitcoin is the basis of the crypto currency, and Ripple is one of the promising coins that can lose competition to many others. If you ask about who will grow more, then this is another matter. Here it is not so clear, I think that the ripple can grow more.

Now the price for both coins is low so we can buy them. But now I want to pay more attention to bitcoin because we will probably never see such a price again. After all I fix my profits in bitcoin but not in ripple.

Bitcoin and Ripple have conflicting approaches to cryptocurrency. Where Bitcoin’s decentralized approach means anyone can use it for whatever they feel like, Ripple is marketing its cryptocurrency as an asset transfer solution for major calculations. The company touts more than 100 customers, with more than 75 of those clients deploying Ripple commercially.
If you have bitcoin, then it will not be taken away from you! but what about Ripple?

Personally for me bitcoin has the long term potential because to the fact that bitcoin is the mother of cryptocurrencies and has survived the market for a very long time despite. In additional bitcoin still sustain the benefits of all users. thats why until now many people choose the bitcoin rather than ripple. On other hand ripple is just new in the market and rapid growth in the market it still dont have the ability to compete with bitcoin.

I think Bitcoin is better. Because Ripple is not really a cryptocurrency. It is controlled by a company and it is not safe for investors. You can buy Bitcoin and get more profit.

Crypto currence Father vs. BANKS TOKEN:D? Its 2018, you have to start understand that Ripple is super expensive coin, the price is low becouse of circulating supply. And its nothing, when the banks want, they will add more 40 bil tokens, so your ripple price will drop by 50% Cheesy, never looked in this, and never going invest in this. Ripple is NOTHING.

Lol...sure. Even taking into account circulation supply and the price it's still small versus the amount of money a platform like ripple can save the financial sectors in transaction fees. We are talking hundreds of billions of dollars every year being moved around the world by moneygram, swift, amex, visa, ecommerce payment providers, government, central banks ...the list is endless. Sometimes these transaction fees (and associated fees) can add up to 25% of the cost... Ripple reduces these costs by an enormous margin. If you still don't think that ripple is worth it's price...,move along why everyone invested keeps making money..and don't forget that they can burn coins if they need to. It doesn't take a maths genius to work out what will happen to ripple's price then.

All markets are down today and going down for the past couple of weeks.
Ripple say they have agreements with some big companies like BOA or MoneyGram but does this help the currency? It doesn't, this is only for the news. I don't even understand why is listed as a crypto.
I'll always go for Bitcoin in this battle.

Why do you say this? I don't understand? It's got as much a place under the crypto umbrella as most of the crypto currencies.

It's not POW, it's not POS, it's not decentralized, what is it? It's an ordinary currency.

Actually it's not even a true currency ...yet... but that's another story. XRP exists natively within the Ripple protocol as a counterparty-free currency, as Bitcoin does on the Blockchain. ... Not dependent on any third party for redemption, XRP is the only currency in the Ripple network that does not entail counterparty risk, and it is the only native digital asset. It;s a bridge currency in a very similar manner to bitcoin. Yes it's not POS or POW but uses consensus protocol.... and?

Most coins listed under the crypto umbrella have less reason to be considered under that umbrella. XRP is being adopted as the darling crypto of the financial sector. That interest is what gives value to XRP and I still don't get why you think it shouldn't be listed as a crypto when you look at most other crypto coins listed?
