I inform you that the Bitcoin Prehistory thread has been selected on the tenth anniversary of the forum, for notable historical publications, this would not have been possible without your participation and collaboration.
Thanks you all, I will continue working to improve it.

I found this nicer info graphic, even if I have to admit is less complete than the one in the OP:
One nice property is that opening the pdf version you have clickable links:

Yesterday, gmaxwell published a thread with excellent information where it highlights some very interesting records to know a little more about the history of Bitcointalk.

[BCT FACT] Bitcointalk was originally on Bitcoin.org but ... drama

Quote
Bitcointalk was originally a forum under www.bitcoin.org/smf/ and then later on a subdomain at forums.bitcoin.org but it isn't anymore.

Here is the 2011 announcement, but it doesn't give the backstory.

It seems like people have been systematically nuking logs of Bitcoin's history off the Internet for whatever reason, so many of you who weren't personally there and involved in 2011 probably have not seen this bit of history.

I'll just let the chat logs tell the story of why it was moved and how it got the name bitcointalk.

https://bitcointalksearch.org/topic/bct-fact-bitcointalk-was-originally-on-bitcoinorg-but-drama-5203621

It is a must-read thread if you want to know more about the forum.
That was very informative. They were under a situation where no other good solution was possible. Not Making the bitcoin.org site official had its own reason certainly. Besides, the matter of illegal activities could not be avoided either. That was actually a bit rough and happy to see such topics are no more promoted. At present, it is the best forum for tuning with digital currencies market, specially bitcoin. They wanted development to be a separate organization from forum.
Purpose of the forum is to provide a place for participants of an industry to share thought with each other and get solutions of problems. Development team needs to focus on betterment of a project. Giving both one room will definitely not work. You cannot focus on your work when a lot of groups are talking about different topics. Developers need their own space and separating both was the right thing to do.

I hope that more people like gmaxwell, which gives us the possibility to know more about the real history of Bitcoin and the forum, continue to publish well-documented threads so that we can all know first-hand what happened from the beginning.

A really cool collection of information for those who want to better understand cryptography. After all, without knowing the history, you can not build the future. I think it should be interesting to read to anyone who somehow interacts with cryptocurrencies.

This really surprised me and this idea is really great. It combines many theories from ancient to present to create a decentralized trading system and the best security. I now understand why bitcoin is so valuable in the past. It is the quintessential combination of many years and many old projects. Cryptocurrency and Blockchain are really a great value chain, so I believe that the future of the crypto market will grow further and stronger. perhaps now many governments still don't see the strength of our market. Time will prove everything.

Wow! This is an amazing historical compilation of events that became a precursor to the great Bitcoin. I will read more of this for sure after my work. Thank you for exerting great effort for this and sharing this to everyone. Bitcoin is more appreciated if everyone knows more of it and its history.

wow, this is crazyy! I now understand that the way Nakatomo Satoshi made bitcoin was based on algorithms that had existed before. There have been many theories and desires achieved when bitcoin was born and I am quite impressed with the words of Cypherpunk. they are also probably one of the founders of cryptocurrency discovery and the earliest experience.

Yesterday, the Wall Observer thread reached 25,000 pages, many pages for a single thread, Bitcointalk is already part of the history of Bitcoin, but if it continues this way, Wall Observer will become a mythical Bitcoin thread.

Bitcoin is Back – As a Safe Haven Asset
By Thomas Luongo

Quote
John Exter visualized the global financial system as an upside down pyramid.

For the crypto-space I see it similarly (if we ever get to a true private crypto-based monetary system.

Bitcoin as the reserve asset of the Crypto-World

Quote
And this cannot be denied by the most religiously ardent Bitcoin-haters.

Quote
Pictures are sometimes worth a helluva lot more than a thousand words. In the past 48 hours ones like this are worth billions. This is Bitcoin’s performance in 2019 overlaid versus the most liquid, most important, single deepest market in the entire world.

The 10-year U.S. Treasury note is the foundation for so much of the global financial system that you cannot deny this relationship has some merit, if not real power.

The deep inversion of the U.S. yield curve is not just about a recession straight ahead. It’s about capital markets that are spooked into what I think is the mother of all defensive trades. And this has all the classic safe-haven asset classes in massive bull markets or just beginning them.

Recommended reading, start first with the article of July 23, 2010 and then with that of June 24, 2019.

9 Years separate these items.

Banks !!!, your business collapses.
The time that 1 satoshi will equals to 1 usd is the right time I am actually waiting for, and that is what I have been accumulating my btc for, I may have missed out of when bitcoin was 1 cent, but I am not going to miss out of this one again.

Dollar is gradually weakening against bitcoin and this is why trump came out recently to defend dollars and condemn bitcoin, but despite the fact that a whole United State president came out to declare interest against bitcoin, bitcoin still did not fall in value. Let us give it another 10 years’ time, I am sure that 1 satoshi will surely equals to 1 dollar, by that time, adoption rate would have been so high and the supply of bitcoin would have been equally limited too if not exhausted already.

Judging by what information is being distributed on the network, I believe that the struggle for the right to use cryptocurrency is waiting for us, and at the same time the resistance from the governments will be very strong.  Guys, I want to say one great truth.  Governments come and go, but the people always remain the same.
