A Great Time to Start Something!

Here are a few more photos of the Billboard on Lawrence Expressway in Silicon Valley.

I promise I'm doing whatever I can to help make bitcoin succeed.  (Billboards,  National radio ads, etc)
This billboard costs $1200 a month,  so if you would like to help contribute to it, please send whatever you think the billboard is worth to you:

or order some stuff from www.memorydealers.com

That came out great!
Everyone who can, please, send some extra business and donations his way.

Not really bitcoin press, but mentions 'digital currency' as an enabling technology.

Did anybody get hands on an issue of the Fin Week http://i.imgur.com/pVAXB.png yet? If so, could you post the article(s) it?

That was a joke.

I don't think it's a joke. Bitcoin has been in the South African press lately:

http://mybroadband.co.za/news/columns/20402-sa-mobile-operator-to-integrate-bitcoin-cryptocurrency.html

(That first one was already posted in this thread before)

It's not a press hit, and Gavin is perhaps too modest to post it here, but I consider this a notable source (per the thread title):

But you can use it to buy DRUGS!

Here is my radio interview with BBC World Service:

     http://www.bbc.co.uk/iplayer/episode/p00gy4hb/The_World_Today_03_06_2011

Bitcoins start around ~43:30 into the show.

Disclaimers:  Yes, I have a Southern Drawl, and yes there are way too many "uh's" in there Smiley

Perfect interview man.

Great talking points. LOVE the emphasis on BTC being slightly more traceable than cash. We need to define the narrative and steer it away from the illicit transactions, and I thought you did a great job.

Agreed. It's good you guys didn't spend much time talking about the drug fiasco like all the other press sorces

Now if I were going to call these guys, I would forget about Bitcoin and Tor and stick with the end prohibition message.

Maybe if we buy them a nice pair of alpaca socks.

how about sending them a bitmail containing considerable amount of coins. If they accept the coins... voilá

Wow! Slush with his Bitcoin pool was today aired in Czech TV 24 - a local "kind of CNN". He was speaking about it. Nice to know how people look in real!

http://www.ct24.cz/vysilani/2011/06/05/211411058050022-20:00-horizont-ct24/ - since 14:00
(Sorry folks, in Czech language only!)

The talk was recorded on 6/2/2011 and Slush proudly stated BTC broke 10 USD Smiley)).

The most important words that were said can be understood in any language

Satoshi Nakamoto - Genius

yeah, and also: "clondike"
