I know about bitcoin since 3 years. And I have been continuously seeing that during Christmas [25 December] Crypto Markets dump hardly. So what do you think about this Christmas and BTC price movements? Dump is coming to near? Or we can a different scenario in this Xmas?
Christmas is over, and bitcoin is still in the support zone, it seems like December is not the season of bitcoin,
but the altcoin season, the altcoin season is still not 100%, we must wait until bitcoin dominance drop

What do you mean bitcoin dominance drop? btc will never go down to its dominance it will always be the top cryptocurrency for more years. The reason why the price are still hanging around the support level is that some investors have still a doubt over the market situation where it was supposed to be pumping right now because of the 2020 btc halving.

When Christmas is sure to have a holiday, when holidays the market volume will decrease, which means prices will not cause significant turmoil.
There will only be sideways until the holidays end, until waiting for the trading volume to start crowded again.
So enjoy your holiday over Christmas rather than being confused to monitor the current price of bitcoin because there is no significant price movement.
You can check the chart in tradingview or in your favorite exchange. Wink

I can understand people who need money for Christmas, I mean if you are celebrating something big, you have to spend money. Even if you are at home that is a bit of a cost to you and considering how many small investors there are in bitcoin, that must be the first thing to go.

If you have stocks and gold and whatever those are conventional stuff that everyone invests into in the world, bitcoin is more niche, and telling your family that you will sell the gold to buy Christmas stuff may cause some issues, same with stocks, but you selling the bitcoins you have to cover the expenses would probably fly over their heads and they would think of it as "free money" instead. So, it is much much simpler to sell your crypto to pay for stuff, nobody questions your decision making.

Last Christmas 2018 I see a dump price on the market unlike in the year 2017 where all people are happy because they earn good profit on Christmas day and in that year bitcoin price hit its all-time high price. We do not know if the dump is coming but I noticed that this Christmas I see a stable price of bitcoin and maybe we will enter a new year with a stable price. What do you think about the New year? are we might see a stable price at 7,000$ or not?
You can't certainly expect that this Christmas season will see a bullish market just like of 2017. What you've seen to the current market position today is not really bad as I concluded. Though we are not able to make another ATH this season but couldn't deny that Bitcoin is still in a good position and might be possible that we are moving back high again early next year.

There is never anything special at Christmas and the end of the year, usually something interesting is at the beginning and in the middle of the year it is usually more interesting than the end of this year, some communities may be divided now that many people are speculating to get high prices in 2020 some others do not, but other scenarios if there is a dump it will not be under $ 5,000, it is likely that the next few weeks will be a new trend for bitcoin prices are more likely to look stable yet reach new ATH, all remain stable until early next year, so look at their next old scenario

Whenever we see dumps during Christmas it could probably due to because people need money during this season. The season could also push the price up because some investors might have enough capital to increase their bags.

Just expect all people to dump their asset, but next year it could recover positively. We need not to worry about that, because everyone will tend to do that due to personal expenses. Every person has to spend during Christmas, so we should understand how it works in the same manner.

Well i don't even consider that a dump though. Still above 7k and i still like what i'm seeing compared to last year. December 26, and the value at the moment is playing at 7.2k. Last year around this time we're having a continuous slide in value. And it's already a given that some people are spending their coins during the holidays. Nothing out of the ordinary with what we're seeing.

actually in my opinion there is no connection between bitcoin and christmas. it's just that some of us do sell part of bitcoin to buy gifts and celebrate Christmas. because this statement finally some people assume that at the end of every year bitcoin is always a dump because many sell bitcoin for Christmas. although there are indeed people who sell bitcoin for christmas it will not directly affect the price of bitcoin because the amount of bitcoin sold is not too large. so I think this is just a coincidence bitcoin went down when christmas.

Disclaimer : this is not analysis, only pure that on my mind.  Grin
But i always think every holiday either it is christmas, or maybe other holiday like new year, chinese new year, etc. Must be ready with market and save my fiat. Because price will dumped and people withdraw and get their holidays. But no analysis about it, only what i think so far.

I expect a different scenario. but basically, after Christmas, the price of bitcoin is always a dump. however, until now the price of bitcoin is still quite stable above the price of $ 7000. less than 6 days before 2020, so the determination is at 6 today. whether bitcoin can start 2020 with a price of $ 7000, or start with a lower price. this is quite thrilling.

It did gain more since the recent dump.
I guess you could say history doesn't repeat itself.

Dump that had happened could be the selling point of small holders but it didn't took long.
Now we are back to $7k and then maybe more before the halving.
We might see more changes next year or the month of halving where people will be FOMO.

December 17 when it went to $6,600. I guess that is what you are looking for.
There might be no more dumps that will happen again before the end of the year.
People sold their bitcoins just for celebrating the holidays but the resistance is still there.
That $6,600 was already cheap and there are chances a lot of people also buy at that amount.

You see, not all are sellers. Some are lurking in the shadows for a good cheap buy.

a different scenario in this Xmas

We live in a goldfish bowl by our own personal bias but BTC sees the whole world and large parts of the world dont see xmas as a day without trade.    Increasingly the world isnt set around the western customs so I guess its significant that BTC is a currency with live pricing all day every day non stop forever and no other product can say its accessible as that.

A couple of days before Christmas we saw a trend reversal which i was not expecting and today the market went down a bit and that is not a big dump but a small correction we used to see after a sudden rally and the market is literally not showing any signs of big weakness nor any rally coming up in the next few days, when the market started to rally i expect a entirely different scenario but today the market was silent like usual without any major variations and that is what i am expecting till the New Year.
