I have already been paid out more than I deposited.  I was a sceptic!  Now I am a believer!
Too bad you haven't deposited more.  When #3923 deposited .25 below you, you could've had .13 instead of the .017 that you got.

It is a pyramid after all.  As long as new people are joining and realizing the potential, eventually you'll see profit.  Time is all it will take.  Pyramids are a good thing for everyone except the last ones to join.  That is the risk.  With only thousands signed up and millions left to join, I think we are in a good spot.  Make your deposits (not just a donations) and sit back and wait-for-it.  Of course getting the word out to new people helps.

sounds about r ight, but how long will it take for that deposit to pay off

so far I've got .05 BTC back  but that's including what I've feed back to those using my referral's
and of that my sponsor gets half

got 4 referrals now  with the one I did for testing
No one has deposited more than a few cents ... pitiful
They can't seem to understand  pennies are donations NOT DEPOSITS

actually my first referral that deposited got 1/2 of what I received back

I deposited a full coin about a month ago and have only received one random payment.  I have received about half that back from my referrals though.  How many random payments is really a function of how many people are depositing.  Of the 218 people below me, only about 6 of them have actually deposited any money of their own.  If this is typical of the entire pyramid, it would explain the slow random payments.

What I would like to see is everyone deposit a full coin all at once.  The flood of random payments would probably hit just about everyone.  Seeing whether the pyramids computer has a meltdown would be fun to watch.

depositing that coin over several deposits a few hrs apart would make for even more random payouts

I havent deposited any where near that much.  I assume Ill be waiting for years before I get any random payment!
From what I understand, depositing more increases the odds of receiving random payments.  It looks like (from looking at other peoples pyramid page) that the threshold is around .4 to .5 btc before you start seeing random payments.  Your .007 deposit is a little short Wink.  Only a handfull of people have deposited over 10 btc so I'm guessing the sweet spot for minimal deposit with consistant random payments is around a full bitcoin.  The site developer can probably pin that number down better than me.

IE: If a person already browsed bitcoin pyramid and later desides to join and use your referral link
the credit for joining will go to who ever is in the browser cookie and NOT to you

Yep! That is exactly what it does.  Maybe you should modify your tagline to say "Clear your browser cookies then follow my referral link" Wink

Good Idea ... done

the proper way would be php script that resets the "sponsorId cookie" to the website/r/number of the call

Why does the page my referal link loads say "Your sponsor: #159"
and not my account #3360

how many referals am I actually getting or is 159 getting them

Your "referal link" doesn't really show you the meat of your account. Go to http://bitcoinpyramid.com/member/3360 to see your balances and how many referrals you are getting.

done that and is says the same at the bottom  "Your sponsor: #159"

sponsor in the table shows my actual sponsor

EDIT
The problem bottom line is that following your referral link does NOT set the sponsor cookie that may be stored by the browser to the new referer ....
