Why does the page my referal link loads say "Your sponsor: #159"
and not my account #3360

how many referals am I actually getting or is 159 getting them
159 is your sponsor. Doesn't change if you go to another page. It is stored in a 'sponsorId' cookie.

#159 IS NOT my sponsor

and even if he was   my referral link should show my # in the field "your sponsor"  not the # of my referrer
IF I goto my referal link it should change the sponsorId cookie to my number NOT somebody else's #

Made 2 deposits this morning
Why did only one random payment made for the total deposit deposit  and not 2 Huh?

I use bitcoind getreceivedbyaddress function periodically to check the balance changes. If 2 bitcoin transactions to the same address happen in the same block, they show up as 1 deposit. Probably this is not documented anywhere, but that's just how it works. Sorry for inconvenience.

Does anyone know why the pyramid is offline?

No idea Kitemike
I been trying to access my account all day

Fyi I finally had someone use my referral even if they didn't deposit
I've deposited 2 BTC now but have not received any random's

I'm terribly sorry, I was in train for 2 whole days and couldn't fix the problem. Should work now.

I've made a deposit, and it shows in the blockexplorer for my Deposit Address, but not on my History or "Deposited" section.  Is there a delay for this to be credited? (http://bitcoinpyramid.com/member/2463)

yes, it may take half an hour (sorry for inconvenience)

Try over 2hrs

even if you get a random payment it's subject to the rule
but not more than s/he deposited + 0.01 btc at a time

A) I'm more concerned getting referrals at this point
B) If some one dumps that much coinage in a pyramid scheme that they aren't getting in a faucet or like I'd be surprised. Some one wants to dump $10 of BTC that they'll probably never get back fine by me... Hey at least I gave him back half for signing up under me.
C) I'm more counting or random payments coming in than direct referrals.
d) Yeah I'll have to limit it down the road eventually. But seriously how many people you actually are going to take me up on the offer?

to A) if you referrals don't deposit you get nothing  --- dua refer youself
    B) so if I deposit 1 btc with your referal you give me .5 btc even though you only earn .02 btc
or 10 btc you give me 5 btc
you better have spare coins to give away

FYI when you balance does reach the .021 threshold there is a .001 fee then your sponsor
gets .01 leaving .01 for you to get

    C) in a month you haven't had any random payments I can't see that changing
random is a function of what you've deposited

C) my theory of that is because I have no referrals hence the very slim chance to get picked cause there is no one below me to pick either.

a deposit of .01 btc is nothing ... its a donation
MAKE A DEPOSIT

Thank you! I've been beating around that bush forever.  Finally, somebody just said it.  I think we aught to declare Sept 1st Pyramid Day.  Everyone with a Member# should deposit 1 BTC on that day.  Would that be a flood Wink

I'm not sure even 1 BTC is enough to get any random's

Which part don't you get

"being picked" is based on your deposit NOT how many referrals under you

You also have to remember that 50% of what you get goes to your sponsor, so realistically, you only get 25% from the people below you.  The money that is deposited in the pyramid gets dispersed pretty quick.  Giving back 12% might leave you with a small income after fees.

In my signature block is a link to the "scheme" I've been using that, so far, has worked out fairly well for those that are willing to deposit below me.  There are a lot of people that join the pyramid that never deposit a thing.  I don't know what they think will happen.  Maybe they didn't read the rules, maybe they're just happy-clicking around the internet, who knows.
