Right now, bitcoin and cryoptocurrencies are at a stage where they can be killed by the government.
At some point, they may become too big for governments to kill. No government can prevent its people from using gold.

I think it will be decades before you can buy everything with bitcoin. Even then, I think it will be just an option along with fiat, credit cards, etc. I do think it will eventually be an option though.

definitely right,government won't let something that they can't control just growing up smoothly,they will put an effort to stop it or even making their own cryptocurrency that's not decentralized so it's such an action to prevent from can't control the economy

Finally some one that understand how things are. You are one of the very few here. In easy terms, Bitcoin is just an alternative to fiat currencies for people that like to gain back control over their own wealth, and to enjoy financial freedom. This doesn't mean that you as person has to stop using fiat. Far from it. As you also said, it's a great addition alongside fiat. It allows us to get the best of both worlds.

Exactly bitcoin for me returns to the people the power to choose, the power that banks and countries has with fiat. Bitcoin purpose werent to replace or remove or either compete, even doing a bit of boths of those, bitcoin low fees and transparency.

Bitcoin was not created to replace our current way of how we use money. In fact it is just a supplement next to fiat money. Because bitcoin works at is best next to fiat money. So consumers/users can use both and any time they find it suitable. Allegedly I thought bitcoin was just a paypal competitor but the way the eco system works with miners makes bitcoin much more then paypal and credit cards

Yeah one of the enemy is government im sure that they dont want bitcoin to use instead of fiat..
Bitcoin is good only for alternative purposes only online anywhere should we increase adoption so that we can bring bitcoin anywhere in the world that can accept almost all countries. i hope that it can be happen in the future.

Interestingly, world wide all the people will accept new change. Moreover no one will not refuse to find his own freedom. Bitcoin will be the right choice for getting our financial freedom from many hurdles like transaction fees and delayed transactions for cross-border.

No question about that and we have already been using fiat even before, bitcoin is just new to the market and although it can give good results to our economy but lack of trust by the people would not make it replace fiat for life.

Yes bitcoin is also money but i guess fiat is more stronger than bitcoin (online money) because fiat is accepted in any stores of any country or it uses worldwide as a direct payment method while in case of bitcoin, it is accepted in some stores not all stores and many countries where bitcoin is not use and people even don't know about bitcoin. So if bitcoin will replace fiat then it will take very long time to happen and i think it will not gonna happen.

There are things to consider but if you are realistic you would not think that way, no question bitcoin is popular nowadays but only for us inside the community, the fact will tell that the total users of bitcoin is less than 1% of the total population in the world.

True, there are many things to consider if Bitcoin would attempt to replace fiat since it's not already been known by everybody compared to fiat that it's been used for how many Millennium already that's why it's not possible to replace fiat so easily an it would take time if Bitcoin would try it.

Yes bitcoin is money and real currency but the fact is that it is an online money or currency and we are transacting through online.

And people doesn't even know it yet, a lot of them are still using fiat money because they have been using it for a long time, even us.

But for me, if bitcoin is going to replace fiat money. I don't think that is going to happen easily many things are need to be considered and study.

That's not the right way to put it. Can you imagine what is the affect if all of the countries of the earth uses bitcoin? What do you think will happen if there is an economic collapse of just one country? or if there will be a country who got  a terrorist attack? or if a certain country hoards btc? Everything will be affected including the Bitcoin's buying power also different currency is created so that you know the country's economical background as the price of its money reflects on it's background. BTC for me is just good as a currency for people who want to earn in the internet it can't be use as a country's main currency.

It can only happen if people would embrace change. There's a lot of reasons why the nation should use Bitcoin instead but people are not aware of that and the government seems to be against it as well. It might not seem possible for now, but it will eventually become more and more a possibility.

I think even for the generations to come.  Bitcoin will not replace fiat money.  There are technicalities that prevents it from overtaking or replacing fiat money.  One of it is the control.  Government always want to control their monetary system.  With bitcoin they will  never control the monetary system because bitcoin nature forbid it.

I don't think so, do you really think government will finish the paper currency system and let the citizens do whatever they want without their control in it? Do you think we will be as free with bitcoin as we are now if it gets legally accepted in world? Not at all.

I don't think paper money will dissapear it's also a way to control people do you think all those countries and banks would allow that to happen?
What i think though is that bitcoin will get as big as it can and will probably be globally used maybe compareable to gold but you'll be able to pay with it too.
