Yes I agree with you. It will take a very long time for that to happen. There are many reasons to consider replacing paper money with digital currency. Plus the fact that it would not be applicable to every corner of the world. There were places were there still no electricity even computers. Plus people were more convenient on using money when buying things on market. And think of it, if you want to just buy a candy on the street it would be hard to pay the vendor that cost just a few cents with bitcoin.

Well, someday it might be happen, bitcoin replaces the money. I think it could be happen, but not for the next 5-50 years, because not all people is know about bitcoin and all people need to know bitcoin if bitcoin replaces the money.

it will happen one day definitely, in my opinion it should happen in like 10 upcoming years, i hope then bitcoin price is go up a lot

That won't happen, and even if that happens then bitcoin would surely be like fiat and then it wont make a difference if we use bitcoin or fiat for any payment if they are similar in all ways.

It could be happen in future not so fast.Because bitcoin became popular in the world now and it is most popular crypto currency. People can become stable through bitcoin. So, I don't think bitcoin will be replaced soon.

Yes, a very long time for bitcoin in order to replace the money. Bitcoin also need to fix the system and should grow more rapidly again. To replace the currency bitcoin is not strong because the price is still not stable.

I think it will happen. No one knows when but it will happen maybe in 500 years from today where everything is so highly technical. Yes it is true that the fiat started long long time ago but before the fiat, people were into barter wherein they exchange their goods to other goods. Then they use things like gold, silver, or copper to buy things as money. Until people made coins and papers as money to buy things. So we cannot assure that it will not be replaced. But I will still want to use fiat to buy things for myself as it is more convenient. Grin

Unfortunately, we were not be able to witness then, that is 500 years man, we are all dead during that time and I don't think bitcoin can exceed that long period of time as for sure there are new development better than bitcoin which will replace bitcoin in the position.

Yes it could happen potentially I think. If we get into a economical crisis which makes money worth almost nothing then bitcoin will still have it's value which means it would be more profitable to turn to bitcoin. But this is only in extreme cases. If bitcoin replaces the money I will be happy though!

Without fiat we cannot enjoy our bitcoins, we are just dependent with the fiat and the value of bitcoin matters with what is the current market of fiat, this two will be vital for the success of the people in the community, the real benefits in using bitcoin is just to spend and transact in a very fast and cheap manner.

No, I do not think BTC or any altcoin will REPLACE fiat anytime soon as cryptocurrency is alot different than fiat so people will need proper education and a huge amount of adaptors to consider BTC at least as much important as fiat and even that time BTC would not replace fiat, just grow next to it in popularity.

The whole point that people fail to understand is that Bitcoin DOESN'T need to replace fiat.

Yup, fiat is far superior when it comes to offline transactions. That being said, it's the only thing that makes fiat better than Bitcoin in that aspect. In all other aspects, Bitcoin is much better.
