Totally agree with this. It is still more convenient if we have lots of payment option than to rely in only one institution.

What if there's no internet? What if no device where available? Can bitcoin can help us with a situation like this?

I think it's possible that Bitcoin would replace money. The major problem why Bitcoin couldn't replace fiat right now is that you can't actually do offline transactions with Bitcoin. If you want to buy something and pay them for bitcoin, you have to go online first and there are places in the world where there's not no good Internet reception. So, if someone would put an Internet connection that can be accessed anywhere in the world for free, then Bitcoin's potential to replace money would increase massively.

I dont use credit card I prefer bitcoin because i dont need to pay heavy fee and interest.Sadly bitcoin is not widely accepted.I hope things will change soon

I'm sure if people already know about bitcoin. they will start using bitcoin and will probably start to leave a credit card? and if it happens. bitcoin certainly will be more mainstream and increasingly recognized by people

You are truly correct, bitcoin cant replace fiat even how much bitcoin would progress in the future. Even bitcoin is money but still its a digital currency which is different from a physical currency in any way but still bitcoin would serve as a currency which added convenience to its users in the future for sure.

The whole point that people fail to understand is that Bitcoin DOESN'T need to replace fiat. I am sure people prefer Bitcoin to stay as it is right now. Bitcoin at this point enjoys some sort of freedom that people should be happy about. That freedom is gone as soon as the government releases its rage on Bitcoin. That's why Bitcoin is much better off staying an alternative form of money.

\You have a point though , even bitcoin would be widely used in the future but it couldnt possibly replace fiat since its value was dependent also to fiat itself. You are right fiat or paper currency is been used already for how many decades have passed or its even used when people learned how to create paper currency. Bitcoin is just a digital money and cant possibly replace fiat in any ways.

I disagree about bitcoin replacing money. Though i believe in bitcoin, but things doesnt depend only on belief. We still have society and government rule to follow. And you know that government wants centralization so they have control on all things. But bitcoin is contradicting the idea because it is promoting decentralization. So I think bitcoin unless approved by the government, will never replace money.

Bitcoin is still under development, so talking about overtaking the fiat could look foolish when you already know that this has taken place so recently...
