It’s certainly an international currency. If we’re talking about becoming the international currency of choice, there needs to be high-volume liquid debt markets at short and long maturities. It would be difficult to achieve something of the scale of the USD Treasury market without a government borrower.

The scenario that you can use bitcoin everywhere and anywhere will likely never happen, but it is also not required. If someone does not take bitcoin, simply go to those who accept it. We want that others accept our crypto currencies usage and we have to accept whatever they use. Same right for all!

do not be mistaken if bitcoin becomes international currency, even now I have heard bitcoin has become international currency. and I am quite sure that currently in most countries in the world, you can meet with people who can sell something for bitcoin. to prove that bitcoin is the more international currency you are looking for a store that has received bitcoin, but since we are observing market trends you will not find many stores therefore it should soon change great.
For now only few stores are accepting bitcoin but soon they will adopt with bitcoin because they know the popularity of bitcoin
will drive their sales up, it's a win-win for both investors and users of bitcoin as when circulation is bigger and popularity will be higher it will only lead to a price increase which we all want that is why we are holding bitcoins.
I think bitcoin is international currency because bitcoin use in  every country and its transaction is very easy, so government will accept bitcoin very soon because bitcoin is very helpful for people and today they live in comfortable which government didn't gave them as like they deserve.
I think it will not be that easy bitcoin is legalized by the government, although you speculate that many people in different countries prefer bitcoin though. if the government does not get any profit even only bad influence and loss of course the government will ban bitcoin. but besides that I agree to you that bitcoin has become an international currency. many people in different countries are already using bitcoin, that means bitcoin can be used in many countries like dollars

It is possible that bitcoin can be an international currency because bitcoin is known in all countries but not all countries accept and use bitcoin because there are some countries that prohibit bitcoin.
As long as it will be used or there will be users who can be found almost everywhere bitcoin can be an international currency. And today it's likely that it's already an international currency, we do trades, buying things that can be shipped to our addresses and the payment method that is being used is bitcoin so bitcoin as an international currency is likely to be favorable and already applied.

I think there are still many things that need to be refined to become an international currency, as we know that bitcoin transaction costs continue to increase and the confirmation time is longer, the 2 things that must be resolved soon.

I guess, it could happen since many countries are onto this cryptocurrency craze. However, this still may take a couple of years or a decade to finally consider bitcoin as an international currency.
The way bitcoin is moving forward so there is no doubt that bitcoin can be an international currency we know that bitcoin is decentralized and still it’s very popular and it reached to many countries and still there are a lot of countries who are trying to make bitcoin legal and a lot of countries make bitcoin legal so I’m sure hat a time will come that bitcoin will end world poverty as well so it’s a big challenge for bitcoin to be an international currency but I’m sure it will do it.

I still think it is an international currency because you can use it, trade it everywhere in the world except for countries that do not accept it. Besides, you can also see it as a way to invest, and it will bring you a small profit. So, in the future, I hope that Bitcoin will be widely accepted

If bitcoin to be international currency, what do you think?
You can use it every where and anywhere, without exchange it.
And how to use transaction with it, if bitcoin just crypto currency?
How many people like with this thread?
I think a lots of people are already using bitcoin as an international currency because it is the easiest and the fastest way to send money abroad without spending a lot of money as transaction fees or waiting for a day or two for the money to arrive. The bitcoin transaction is instant and it's already playing the role of international currency because it's working and there is no one out there to stop it.

not likely to happen because every country can develop/establish its own cryptocurrency. Go and check the gulden coin.....will get you back in some past days (past days in the Netherlands). But btc is best known coin nowadays and is already implemented (vast purposes).

I guess yes, because it is globally recognized, most of the people nowadays are crazy to earn a piece of it, and considered the most expensive type of coins, no doubt it would become an international currency in the upcoming days.

It would be an interesting material, if using fiat then no country is 100% agreed, but if using bitcoin then this is a good idea because bitcoin is neutral and decentralized so that everyone or free country use bitcoin.
Yes it is good because bitcoin can be used by every people without knowing their identity and the amount of money that they have been sent wherever they are. It also solved the problems for the transaction that spends too much time in our society now if the person want to send money from the other country they can use bitcoin as a payment so that it become fast to send and there is a big possibility that the amount of their money that they use in bitcoin will also gain a good profit when they hold it.

I believe Bitcoin is already an international currency, you merely need a Bitcoin wallet to complete transactions at vendors. If you go overseas to places where Bitcoin is accepted, you won't face high exchange rates if you purchase stuff with Bitcoin and only need to pay transaction fees. However, I believe it will be widely accepted in the coming years.

Wow!!It would be great..if bitcoin becomes international currency, it would be much profitable and helpful to the users of bitcoin. There will be no fear of getting arrested for using bitcoin. The main benefit will be,there will be needed  a few transaction fee to exchange , we can use bitcoin anywhere anyhow, wherever we need without exchanging it. We can get help from the government too may be.Above all,we will get financial freedom....which was ever most wanted!!

If bitcoin is just a cryptocurrency, then we cannot use them in those countries where bitcoin is banned. So, we have to exchange bitcoin into fiat giving a high transaction fee which is still very annoyind and embarrassing...

if you really want to become an international currency like a dollar, euro. you can even take their place. but the country's governments may not allow it to lose power and keep it in their hands, and it seems that Bitcoin will continue to be used only as a currency for investment purposes and for various payments

I think the currency will never become an international currency, because bits of decentralized characteristics decided the government cannot effectively control the currency, unable to control the currency, the government is allowed massive currency trading, the currency on the way to become the international monetary, more distant!

It already is. You can trade with it with anyone from around the bank. There is no need to get permission from any bank or government?
