Hello, like lot of people, i'm thinking that crytpo market will pump one day, (maybe this year, maybe next, but it will). actually ETH dump more than BTC, and so my question is : It is better to exchange my btc in eth ? If price increase and reach their past prices, have ETH more potential (in %age) ?

I will not advise you to exchange your BTC for ETH. If you already have BTC, keep the BTC, if it ETH, also just keep it. The market can swing in favour of any of the coins later.

I think it's better if you hold your BTC than exchange eth, because surely bitcoin will experience an increase and the future is bright besides that the position of bitcoin is the parent of cryptocurrency.

That's a pretty good idea. I was thinking the same the other day.
ETH still can go lower, but sooner or later we should see a bigger increase in % for ETH than in BTC. Maybe once the updates for ETH network will go live. Thus, I think such an idea does have some logic in it. Personally, I would not convert all BTC to ETH, but some portion I am likely to do.

Of course! Simply because Pump is a part of the cycle, that's why it's called Pump & Dump, right Grin?

I'm confused. You said that Eth drops harder than btc (which I agree somehow based on the recent change percentage in CMC) and yet you still plan to convert your btc to eth. The ideas contradict to each other.

Or it's just like you will sell your btc now and buy even more eth since its cheaper this time and you will sell in due time with your expectation that eth will have a higher increase percentage than btc? If yes then I am not sure if your plan will work. The market is hard to predict, maybe you're right that "eth dumps harder and pumps harder" but it could be also "btc drops a little bit but pumps greater" or vice versa. Nobody knows exactly what will happen Smiley.

It depends on your preference and gut feeling. Some people really like bitcoin as this is the pioneer of all the digital currencies while some prefer ether like me because with it's low price now, the possibility of it reaching it's ATH or maybe just a little under is very possible. But we don't also know that eth will dip more as there are more competitors of it's platform.
development continues to occur on Ethereum. this will be very capable of producing far greater profits. thus making Ethereum the main coin and replacing all the coins is quite profitable. so it's very high potential to become a mainstay coin.

In my opinion investing in both may give you profits in the long run if you're just merely looking at pumps then you might also stuck in dumps. So the best thing to do is invest on to both Bitcoin and ethereum and hold it for 2-3 years. It might sound crazy but profits don't come just in days if you're not a trader.

if I think bitcoin then we invest into etherium it's also very good bro. because we will benefit from bitcoin and etherium. moreover now the price of bitcoin and etherium is falling. so it's an opportunity to get big profits

my opinion should be to keep your bitcoin because this year the price of bitcoin will be able to return to its highest peak, if you want to invest in ethereum it's better to buy it with just another capital.

basically both are potential for growth and continue to increase their prices, although one day there will be a huge pump on ethereum because it has dumped more but both will be able to provide huge profits.

It woyuld be better not to transfer the BTC to ETH. Because BTC is the best coin and it is slowly rising up. But if you still have doubts, you can transfer them, but not all. Keep some on hand.

Not a good idea to trade your Bitcoin for Ethereum but it is still your decision to make. Crypto Currency Market is experiencing a dramatic decline on almost all price value of their coins, but we know for a fact that market correct itself after the market down stream. try to hold on..the KEY at this point is PATIENT.

I think it will be safer to invest in BTC in the near future because the ETH prices are still not stable, but if for the long term ETH has good potential to get a lot of profit because the price of coins will increase

To be totally honest with you all, ETH is always been said to be the best altcoin there is but sometimes I find myself wondering hwy then is its price so annoyingly low, like since it started from around the 1 thousand region now its got to the low hundreds.

For the short term, Eth can still lose more of it's value, despite lost more already. Unfortunately it is also a possible scenario, this market is hard to predict.

ETH is very popular altcoin and it has a great future. But transferring all your btc to eth is not a good choice. You can convert a portion of your btc and then hold for price to get up.

I agree with your point, Eth has the greater potential increase because of the bigger loss of value. Does not mean it will happen anyways Smiley

I think BTC is always the best investment. Eth is also good but it has no competition with btc.

Eth is most popular altcoin. But when market will begin to rise then btc will rise at first then the other coins will rise. So transferring all your coin will not a suitable plan.

If you really want to collect some ETH then you may transfer some of your btc but converting all of your btc may not be the right choice.

If you have Bitcoin, the coin should be stored properly, don't move to Ethtereum instead. Because Bitcoin is still the best choice for you and everyone here. Indeed, when compared in price, Ethereum is cheaper, but if you choose from the potential of the coin. Bitcoin is still the most potential and good coin in Cryptocurrency to date.
