Because with bitcoin trading you are personally involved in it, if you believe that bitcoin is going to go well in the long run. That makes trading so much more worthwhile, and so much more fun as well in my opinion.

Also you are able to control the markets in certain situations, if you have enough funds, instead of riding the government policies all the time on fiat trading.

I am not so familiar in forex but i just always seen it in advertisement that asking for a large amount to deposit so i can not afford it that is why did not choose it to trade instead i just stay in poloniex and yobit and other well known trading site it is more good because we have already knows about crypto.. i want to try forex before because there is some seminar here for free that you can learn basic in forex how to trade. and they are giving contest and receive the amount they are give for those who win.. but the concept for me is the same as other trading site so i just stay in crypto currency than forex.
Besides trading on cryptocurrency is available for you 24/7 while forex not available in the weekend.
Cryptocurrency trading much more newbie friendly rather than forex , this is based on my personal experience.
The deposit amount doesn't really matter for me as mostly have $5 forex minimum deposit and it is still affordable i guess.

Yep, there are a lot of advantages in trading bitcoin instead of forex, including the reason that he stated above. The 24/7 trading is definitely an attraction, and there are more swings in the market price so there are more opportunities i guess.

Fiat currency market cap is too big, meaning that even a small fish in the fiat market can be a whale moving bitcoin 10-15% in a day in bitcoin.

So, to all the bitcoin traders out there... what are your reasons for trading these shady, unsafe bitcoin markets over regular FX?

With bitcoin you get volatility to make daytrading attractive and no shady central bank rigging the prices. Forex trading is simply a game of chance, reading the brain of central banks (and the volatility is crap).
Where's a good place to day trade btc?

I see there are a lot of first time traders trading Bitcoin via the hack exchanges of MtGox and Tradehill.  It makes me wonder, why don't you guys just trade real forex?  You can open micro accounts with as little as $25.  You get security far better than these shady exchanges.  You get real customer service with a real business that won't disappear and leave you only an email address to cry to.  You get real trading platforms with reliable data, not some ghetto hack stuff.  You get plenty of liquidity, which allows of smooth trading.  And, best of all, you don't have to worry whether it's legal or not!  Trading is hard enough as it is, why anyone would want all these additional factors working against them is beyond me.

I totally agree with this idea. I have been a succesful forex trader for more than three years and I have always enjoyed a satisfactory experience with the different brokers I work with. Unfortunately I can't say the same about my experience in altcoin trading, and that is why I have preferred to focus my full attention on forex, which is my main source of income.

my view on this is; forex and bitcoin are the same thing, we always look at bitcoin as something different from our country's currency, but it is not so. Come to your question bitcoin with other altcoin is easily predictable and if you do your study very well, you can easily identified exchanger or broker that has sounds business records online. However both simplefx and openforex  has bitcoin among their trading assets.

I don't have so much knowledge about trading but I Think there's much risk on Forex than bitcoin or alt coin trading and Forex has more complicated characteristics . If there are many things we need to consider on bitcoin and alt coin trading there's much more with Forex I guess .

With forex trading lot of research regarding the particular stock holder and the growth needs to be researched. With bitcoin due to its fluctuations happening often no need make lot efforts. Even buying and holding will give better earning.

Also bitcoin or trading sites is very accessible to anyone and doesn't require some legal infos about yourself.
With bitcoin, verification is not mandatory as against forex trade, where almost brokers insist on knowing their customers. That can be understood from the fact that forex trade revolves around fiat currencies and they always wants to be in control.

Security has it's price. you can always find a Bitcoinlike non-regulated Forex Broker, but I don't recomend this
I would honestly choose the most recommended forex broker even it's required to verify to identity because it's for the sake of my money and not going to go to shitty forex broker which often don't require verification.
i don't do anything illegal and i'm sure that those identity will be stored safely as long it's known forex broker. not going to doubt

Forex trading has very high risks than bitcoin or altcoin trading.
Both forex and cryptocurrency markets are speculative in nature, so they are both risky, forex however is well on ground.

Forex trading also requires some huge amount to start trading. Unlike in bitcoin or altcoin trading which you can start for only 1$ or lower than that depending on what you can afford.
That is not true, there are some forex brokers that also welcome minimum deposit of $1, example Age, FSB,etc

Pick one market and become an expert and only trade that. Index options, BTC/USD or whatever. I think this will give the best chance of success.

Forex trade can rightly be said to be riskier than cryptocurrency trade because forex trade is mainly margin trade and a trader is actually dealing with the entire economy of a country, which can be quite cumbersome compared to the economy around a coin. At any rate neither forex nor cryptocurrency trade dishes out free lunch, however a knowledgeable forex trader stands a better chance of understanding when to engage the market and when a party is spent.

But I heard Forex trading also could be started with small amount of capital like less then $10. So the initial capital will not be a problem for most of the bitcoin traders to start trading in forex. Only the risk levels will be a big concern for them.

I just want to ask when we are profitable with bitcoin trading why we need to go for Forex trading ?

Its because I am more familiar in trading altcoins than forex. And I'm not like any other people who got a huge amount of money trade on forex.

My starting money in trading alts is only 0.02 and I made a great profit from that. This is also the reason why I chose to trade alts than forex because I'm low on capital.

Forex is more riskier than bitcoin trading. If you are not good at analizing, thats it. You are done. You should study forex first before entering. Its also very hard to manage. Forex can give you really big profit. But there is a low chance to happen. You could lose your.money fast. Forex is not a place for you if you dont know anything about it.
As Forex trading requires a continue study on skill development and technical analysis, that is a fact that forex is too much risky especially if you do not have a good knowledge on these aspects. Personally I stopped forex trading after my broker suddenly closed their services as they were not regulated for world wide.

Thats why crypto traders prefer to trade alts since we familiarize the flow of certain alt on the exchanges rather than doing some trades on forex while theres no assurance for us to earn since it needed more experience and people to guide us for any start up step on doing some trades, and also i think we can get more high risk on forex rather than alts.
