75% is a big deal if it succeeds.

We agree that the progressive jackpots in general present a problem to our users. Because there is a +EV incentive to quickly play games, it results in bots and unscrupulous users sweeping up the jackpots. The progressive jackpots are a double edged sword -- it's exciting that the jackpots can grow to be big, but it's annoying that bots come in and mess with the site. In some previous posts on this forum there were some suggestions for improving this, but there doesn't really seem to be a clear solution unfortunately.

The Bitcoin community is generally smart and skeptical, so systems like provably fair gaming were created to show that all games are truly fair. It would be wonderful if there existed a similar provably fair system to demonstrate that the admins are not personally playing for the jackpots. We're not quite sure how something like that would work.

Do you think we could at least limit the # of rolls or requests each individual IP can make per minute? This at least will make it more complicated and a bit more fair for users. This would be easy to implement and would at least reduce the problem by 75%.

Also, as far as the scenario of Admins hitting the jackpots, you could possibly use the setup that I seen another site had. You could create individual or unique progressive jackpots for each user, or group of users. I think this would inspire more confidence and result in players playing more heavily and consistently. At this point, you get a lot of traffic once a jackpot gets large, but as soon as it is hit then all your traffic disappears.

Limiting the number of rolls is ok to me but I do not think the effect can be like reducing the problem by 75 %.

Yeah I agree. 24/7 chat can be great as there always appear some annoying issues.

Guys, I see a lot of bashing on here about the test credits vs real credits, etc. There is completely no difference to them.

I've gambled over half a million worth of USD on this site in the past year alone and that's probably an understatement. I've won tons and pretty sure I've lost even more (I try not to track my losses, it's depressing), but one thing is certain, the games and rolls are fair.

The only thing that is wrong with this Casino, in my opinion, is the progressive jackpots. I love the idea of the Progressive Jackpots, don't get me wrong. I've hit a ton of them, honestly every time I play I'm shooting for one of them, normally the lower hanging ones such as 8 out of 10 on Keno but more than happy if I hit 9 out of 10.

The problem with the Progressive Jackpot is the fact that we cannot "prove" that the Casino Administrators are not playing their own games and jackpots. They technically could just use all the money you dumped to win (raising the progressive up really high) and just keep recycling it through, or using their own money (or just giving theirselves free credits) and hit the progressive jackpot. I'm not implying or even suggesting that they are doing this, the problem is that they could possibly be doing this, and there would be no real way to prove it.

I am 101% certain that bots are knocking out the progressive jackpots once they reach a +EV. Which means, whenever the odds are in your favor and you have a better chance to win than lose because the jackpot is so high. I've had countless experiences where I've pumped the jackpot up high as hell and keep playing, because nearly 70% of the time I win it all back and normally come out ahead or barely down. The problem comes in when the jackpot gets so big and gets the +EV. The bots log on and they are firing 100x more rolls than I could ever hope to, literally. I've had 12 windows open at once all betting max on autopilot and they were still rolling a ton more than me, you could see what they were hitting on the sidebar.

It's hard to find a solution to this. I love the idea of the Progressive Jackpot, it's honestly what attracted me to the site in the first place. But then again, once it gets so high or you accidently build it up then the bots swoop in and destroy it on you. Which it's a double-edged sword, you could possibly hit the jackpot before the bots do and take some of their money they pumped into it, but i've never seen it happen. Once the bots log on the site becomes laggy as shit but they seem to be rolling just as fast because they are using API calls.

The Progressive Jackpot also is calculated into the house percentage odds / payout. This makes things very deceptive, because as I said before, once the progressive gets so high, it gets knocked out.

I hope this little piece of detail can better inform and educate people on both sides of the fence. I love this casino and it's the only place I gamble with Bitcoin at. They've never delayed a payment and always helped with a problem, it's just this one thing with the progressive jackpots that honestly hurts them and it is kind of a big problem.

I've had nights swearing and even weeks pissed off, refusing to play, etc. Then I may slip up and play a couple weeks later and go on a spectactular roll and win tens of thousands of dollars. I've also put in my own seeds for every roll, etc. This site is definitely more than provably fair, they have proved to be honest with handing out what they owe and fixing mistakes. They just need to re-think the design on the progressive jackpot or they need to find a way to limit the bots better or something. They are losing many customers because of this, this is a known fact, big whale customers too.

I'd also like to see if BVC could also explain or tell us why the chat is still closed and why we are no longer able to view other user profiles to see their stats?

Thanks again guys, and I'm not trying to be hard and criticize or take either sides, I just believe that if you guys listened to the community and fixed this problem then you will see your customer base and volume expand 100x. I have yet to see anyone that has publically said they like the way the progressive jackpot system is in it's current form.

Just remember, we're the guys that are gambling on your site and earning you money. We know we can't win in the long run, but we have fun doing it. If you make the adjustments the customers want then they will be more than happy to keep donating to you through the casino and others will come as well. I know that BVC's volume has been going down quite a bit, so please reach out and listen to us, we like what you have going and want to make it better for everyone.

So please, just voice the opinion to your customers, put a poll on your website. Just create a multiple choice poll that people can simply vote on your site about this issue with the Progressive Jackpots. Have a poll first asking if people are happy or unhappy with the way it is with bots (or possibly admins, we can't prove it either way) able to knock out a jackpot that you have been playing for and contributing to for days. If the majority or important players vote that they are unhappy, then present them with another poll that has multiple resolutions to the problem so they could choose the one they prefer. A happy customer means more business and more loyalty. You know a new Bitcoin Casino could spring up overnight, they do all the time. Do the right thing by your customers and keep them loyal and grow your brand and image even stronger. A lot of these sites grow a community and that is why they become so successful or profitable, take just-dice or primedice for example. Reach out to your community and re-enable the chat features as well, let's make BVC the site where we want to lose all our money at, that's the goal here. We don't want to be pissed off at the site AND lose our money at the same time.

Oh, man I can't forget the 35 times rollover requirement I see very often on various Casino sites - mind blowing and un-achievable.

True, and all the tricks they apply are more or less teh same-bonuses that you cannot claim because of high requirements.

All gamblers are more or less unreasonable, so its not a very hard job if you have an user friendly games.

Well yes, but the thing is that these sites apply all kinds of marketing gimmicks in order to attract unreasonable payers.

Btw, this casino is very old style, there are many other casinos have very vivid 2D slots and 3D slots, why still some people play here? It's like 1990s website, too ugly.
Its is very...retro/oldskool, but incredibly fast. And has 0.0001 Credit sizes, which others also may or may not have. And has a huge jackpot.

I find myself playing there more than on other cool 3D slots.

Hehe, yup, we decided to go for an old school look for this website. We really miss playing on the video poker machines in Las Vegas, so we decided to design the site around that style. Some people hate it, some people love it! Smiley

We also decided to make all of the games play quickly. This is another thing that some people really like, and some people don't much care for. It's hard to make everyone happy. Smiley

You all also decided to make it bot only majority wins and admin only wins whether you admit it or not. The proof is in this thread and is there in plain site.

Well that's the business model of the sites-to take their customers' money! Gambling business is all about that but after all it's not necessary to play.
