Both of them are a good, very valuable and good investment. But if can choose one, i choose bitcoin over eth because bitcoin is a legal currency in some countries so you can use it multiple ways, but the problem is, not everyone can reach bitcoin's price.

Yes, I agree with you. I like Ethereum for the opportunity to participate in different ICO projects. But I think this coin is also suitable for long term. this is very suitable, eth now has gone up very drastically from 2 months ago and ethereum maker is very confident that eth will be able to compete bitcoin in 2018, I am sure that eth will become the most successful altcoin also altcoin first able to rival bitcoin .
I still tip Ether to be the coin to invest in. Transactions fee of bitcoins compared to gas of Ether ,makes Ether more profitable to hold than bitcoins. So I say Ether is best than Bitcoin to all my crypto friends and urge everyone to buy ether because it will be a great coin in the next 5 years.
I would definitely choose Bitcoin instead of Ethereum. The next upgrades (especially MAST, LN & Schnorr signatures) will give Bitcoin the abilities of Smart Contracts, much faster and cheaper transactions.
Both are good enough to invest. But I firmly stand BTC because it is the mother of all the other ones, I think. May be one day ETH may be higher than BTC, but I will still support it until it disappear which may not happen

If I will gonna choose between Bitcoin or ETH for sure I will choose the most prominent and trusted by all of its users and investors which is the Bitcoin, if you wanna choose for something then you must have to choose for the best. Yes ETH has a good reputation also and too young not compared to the bitcoin...
Ethereum will be the winner in this battle. It has too many technological advantages over bitcoin. The only serious trump card of bitcoin is his fame.
i hold both, maybe i will be happy if they compete in price .. i will be able to profit from both right? I just save my money in both and let them live and grow up. That is all
I prefer Ethereum. The price grew and I don’t see any reason for changing my currency exchange portfolio. No reason for this.

Since I bought bitcoins and transfers for the first time, I'm not buying any bitcoins. Only for 2 reasons, tx very slow and tx fee is expensive. Of course, I'm not degrading bitcoins, but I prefer ETH a little bit more.
Are awsome in your areas. Remove the "vs" because do not have sense. I bought ETH and BTC and I'm really happy with that.
For me, Bitcoin should be the best choice. you know that Bitcoin is the mother of all cryptocurrency and it would be kind of mother payment system. So everything almost dependent on Bitcoin. that's why I blindly aside of Bitcoin.
