Those who bought it for the last possible pump already know the risk that they've taken.

Likewise, if nothing happens and XRP doesn't pump up, it only means that there's nothing to expect with this asset.
and the money they invested will die along with their hope.

It's on your take and how you see if there are possibilities or if you need to keep investing in Bitcoin as the chance arises.
Making money is more possible or has better possibilities.
The fact that XRP has been like that for a while and Bitcoin has been doing fine is the proof that we are not going to really see anything good come out of XRP anytime soon to be fair. I am not saying that people were mistaken for investing into it, they had an idea and a hope about it and they failed which happens, you can't invest with 100% success rate, some things that you buy will go down, or not go up as much as other things.

However, the problem is that if they are still thinking that this was a good idea then I am sorry but it is not going to be reasonable to think that they would be making profit. We have seen that this is a failed one and then just move away from it. I never invested into it, but if you are still doing it, then you are making a mistake.

Everyone is so against someone going against Bitcoin on this forum  Undecided

PEPE - a meme coin done more in a few hours than Bitcoin has done in years.
Yes it is rubbish but it made people money and that is what I am here for to make money.

Yes Bitcoin is safe but it also has limited returns compared to other altcoins.

I will take my chances with XRP - it will do a 10x in no time once it comes out they have won the case.
Because it is your money and fully under your control, you are free to invest in any token. I understand with your assessment of the high profit potential of several of the selected Altcoins. However, keep in mind that it is a possibility, not a certainty.
If you are willing to lose money, you are free to invest in whatever altcoin you choose, including XRP, but keep in mind that XRP did not make new ATHs during the last bull season, and it did not even reach its previous highs.
Personally, I continue to prioritize Bitcoin as the primary option.

It did not reach previous all time highs last bull run because of the law suit against it but with this now looking like it will be over by the end of the year the price should shoot past all time high.
Does this means you are holding XRP even before 2021? if you happen  to believe  that the lawsuit will be over sooner then yeah it will make you instant millionaire .
maybe I will keep some of my altcoins in possession .
but try not to consider pure xrp in your folio because if that lawsuit did not succeed then xrp will maintain the prices from what it has years past .

No only started buying XRP a few weeks ago - I will not go crazy just buy a few thousand and hope it does well next bull run.
well everyone has its own faith and belief as this is our own money so Hoping that all your decision will make you at least 2x richer when the bull happens as I for my love and faith in bitcoin is seeking for complete x3 after couple of years holding.
how many of us that will get this return and how many will lose, this is something we need to understand and accept once it happened.

until whenever Bitcoin will be superior to Ripple, because Bitcoin is the king of cryptocurrencies, so it proves that Bitcoin is better than Ripple, therefore I prefer to invest in Bitcoin rather than Ripple, because the risk of investing in Bitcoin is smaller than Ripple and of course the price of Bitcoin will definitely continue to increase every time a bullrun occurs, so that will definitely give me a lot of profit in the future from investing in Bitcoin.
Obviously Bitcoin is the best and who doubts that I don't think so,
Bitcoin is a safer long-term investment choice because it has less risk,
especially with the current condition of XRP which can be said to be unsupportive, of course it will be more risky to invest.

Every shitcoins want promise profitable market but they are gone to death after some days later. So btc also best choice for investment even long live. This is very stupid for compare about btc because this is only king currency which is biggest marketcap. Shortcut if you have less knowledge about crypto category then you should invest only btc.
well XRP has been alive for quite sometime but i myself also pessimistic about this coin this coin is just not that good for investment and many are unfavouring this coin honestly.
I'd just stick with bitcoin like you said if i'm given two options to invests honestly.

I think it will be nonsense to compare any altcoin with the bitcoin. Bitcoin is the best secure and potential coin in the Cryptocurrencies world. I don't find any other currency for defending the decentralisation systems of bitcoin. I will not saying that xrp was the worst coin , it have also good reputation on the market but compared to bitcoin it place will be very behind. So stop comparing these kind of valueless compare.
We align on this honestly, comparing any altcoin with bitcoin is just out of context to be honest, bitcoin is the first project to come out with blockchain concept and till date no one is the founder or the team, it's basically a community driven project, so it can't be compare with xrp that have team members and implemented the concept of blockchain.

I have neither of the above but am leaning towards XRP.

I believe Bitcoin will reach $100k next bull run but that is less than a 4X from current price.

I have been researching more into XRP lately and have read price predictions ranging from $5 to $100 next bull run.

I dont believe XRP will reach $100 or even $50 next bull run but feel like it could reach $5 which sounds conservative compared to all the predictions I have heard but is still a 12X from current price.

I am leaning more towards XRP purely for the better possible returns. I do believe Bitcoin is here to stay but less than a 4X from current price doesn’t appeal to me.

This is my first bull run coming up and I want to put a lot of the profits I make into Bitcoin in the 2026/27 bear market to then possibly cash out in the 2028/29 bull run when Bitcoin should at least be around $200k.

Thoughts on this? Anyone more into XRP or is everyone here pro Bitcoin?
nor xrp win or lose is gonna pump atleast to 2$, xrp is slow coin for day trader, most likely people already bought it for last pump, if lose then maybe the end of xrp specially they based on u.s, at this point when you see the movement from both, the profit seems similiar while btc safer bet

I cannot believe that there are still people who like XRP that is seriously difficult to understand for me. I know that there are some people who think that we are going to end up with the company owners trying to make XRP go up but we all know that they are not going to do that. We know that the only thing they care about is their own bottom line and they are going to try to make as much profit as they possibly could.

I remember very clearly that they ended up printing 100+ million new XRP just because they needed some money, think about how terrible of a project this is that the owners use it as their personal stash. If you still want to invest into this that means you are going to end up getting pretty upset about it.

For me, Bitcoin is the best and most reliable option, but if you like adventure and risk, you should buy XRP.

Nobody knows exactly what the future of XRP is because the Ripple case is not over so there is a big risk, it could be 12X up and it could be 12X down, that's a big risk.

not only you, but me and most people also think that Bitcoin is better than XRP, but indeed if you want to get big profits, then XRP is the right choice, because Bitcoin prices cannot go up as high as altcoin prices, so I agree with you, if you want to make big profits, but are willing to take big risks too, then investing in XRP is the right choice rather than investing in Bitcoin.
Bitcoin is the king of crypto so when it's compared to XRP I don't think we need to doubt it anymore,
Regarding investing in XRP, I think that with the current conditions it is certainly too risky,
we have to see more and hope that XRP can win against the SEC.
Indeed, with the current conditions we need to make wise decisions and invest in safer assets,
unresolved cases are certainly one of the reasons to consider more before investing in XRP,
for me it would be better if we minimize the risk.

There doesn't seem to be any intrinsic gain by using XRP over bitcoin in fact if memory serves me correctly when you fund an XRP wallet you have to burn 10 or 20 of them so you've got to spend five or ten dollars getting your wallet funded.

Is there really a hook for XRP?

It's a reserve, not a burn. Imagine just with that you stop any spam to the network, super speed transactions and paying less than a cent for each tx. Instead of paying 10 bucks each time you need to move your funds like other networks.

Didn't they win already the case? I thought that they've won already the case and that's why a lot of XRP supporters have came out to suggest this again to the others as it might cause a pump soon. But still, I wouldn't have it as an asset.
They have not won yet but they are expected to and some say it will be announced in weeks others say months.
I see, I thought that the case was done and they're already cleared with their case against SEC. Perhaps, this is the reason I'm starting to see people getting crowded on discussions in many places talking about XRP.

They will likely win which is why I am betting on them and hopefully it sees a good pump - I am then planning on putting most of the profits in Bitcoin.
I'm not a fan of theirs but those that have invested on it a lot and waited for a long time including a friend of mine, I just wish that all of you will get the profit that you deserve from it.

I don't hold any bitcoin either. We will be lucky to see BTC hit 100k this next bull run, which is a 3x. XRP has real world use cases and partners but they could drag the SEC case on for another three years if it goes to a higher court. In that case you might miss the bullrun and you would have been better off holding BTC. What I am doing is holding some XRP and looking into new projects launching in 2023, like Shardeum and Q Blockchain and buying up coins that are 98% down like Algorand and 0xMonero that haven't pumped yet.
