FYI, bitcoin is not altcoin, it's the father of this altcoins since without bitcoins altcoins would not exist. The fact that we are using bitcoins and expecting for the price increase to profit from our investment that would already answer the question.

The op Probably means if it is worth as much as real money which in fact is. You can convert you bitcoins to fiat (real cash) which gives bitcoin the same purchasing power as real cash.
So yes, it's worth to me.. a lot. The same as fiat money.

sorry if I do not understand what you are saying, alt much worth for you than bitcoin. what you see in altcoin as currency or investment so if you see alt as currency? can you use altcoin for buying stuff in online shop. may be there but not as much as bitcoin of course.

I am talking about the price thing as we are in the Economics board and I have also a university degree in Economics, so as long as it can give me real money , its very much worth to me. Price is almost 600 USD now and in many third world countries, 1 bitcoin at current rate is equal to 3 or more months of work there, you bet it is worth and I am not speaking about its convenience of use in many scenarios, if I add that to the above talk, its even more worth it.
You are right, here in the Philippines 1 btc is already a good amount and for a normal factory worker that amount is already for 2 months.
With over time 10 hrs a day , 6 days a week. So for me, bitcoin does really worth.

Well, I'd expect as the difficulty goes up and the payouts go down, the price will rise. That's what normal economics would say.
Actually Bitcoin is not worth to anybody,we or people will think when they are not benefited by Bitcoin, now every body benefited from Bitcoins,we can make our investing things double so not worth.

The halving event is really made a hype in the community, maybe it's one of the reasons why the price is steadily increasing. Due to this, the more price of the bitcoins increases it becomes more valuable to its supporters. The fact that we are using it regularly for online transactions it already constitute its worthiness, for me this is the best currency as of this writing and I believe it will still be in the future to come, other businesses are just hesitant to adopt it although they already identified the benefits of using this because the government does not fully support bitcoins and they are more supportive with the banks.

Definitely bitcoin is worth a lot to me. It has intrinsic value, just like gold or silver, because it can serve a role of a stable monetary system that actually retains value over time, instead of losing value over time(fiat).
I believe that bitcoin is going to skyrocket in price in the future. So that's why I'm buying in a lot now.

Bitcoin is of course worth to me and that is because you also can see now that there will be more people that is using Bitcoin as their payment method and that is really nice for the currency.

So a "real" currency can only reduce in value? Im convinced where do I sign up?
Both fiat and bitcoin oscillate in value, the main difference is that fiat has a much larger volume so the oscillations are not as
noticeable as it is with bitcoin and other crypto currencies.
For me bitcoin is far more valuable than any fiat, and the main reason for that is that it has a limited supply and is independent of all countries
and man made laws, whereas fiat isn't and they print it more and more, even as we speak now..

Bit coins are not worth to me and thats only because of the many scammers he has now. Gold will always be better and bitcoin will disappear in the next view years only because people are using them for wrong reasons. noticeable as it is with bitcoin and other crypto currencies.
