I created a small bitcoin price ticker script with PHP any of you can use and manipulate the way you want. It's pulling data from Bitstamp and blockchain. Feel free to use, make better and share. I'd love to be able to see volume as measured is USD instead of BTC. As the price rises I expect the trading volume to go down measured in BTC. But to see how much USD is moving around would be cool!

BTC-E rate is more than 30% up compared to the other exchanges it is automatically discarded from the average.

We've posted on reddit, twitter and here regarding this. The issue with 0% fee exchange models has been very well discussed.
Yes we do need a solution for this, and welcome any suggestions.

I dont know if you already do this but just to prevent api or exchange errors I would discard any exchange rate that is 30% up or 30% lower that the other ones.
For example:
Bitcoinaverage pulls Bitstamp, Kraken and BTC-e api, result
Bitstamp: 100$
Kraken: 105$
BTC-E: 10284$ (sounds like an error here)
As BTC-E rate is more than 30% up compared to the other exchanges it is automatically discarded from the average.
Also checking if the exchange rate is more than 10$ can avoid showing 0$ when some api is down.

Did you guys ever come up with an official android widget? I've got one that uses your api, but I'd switch to your official version if you ever get one.
Unfortunately not, we're working off very little time and funds. We would be interested at certain levels if anyone feels like firing us over a generous quote
We could also do with our responsive theme being overhauled mainly for smaller devices, again this is low priority in the scheme of things but willing to outsource this as well.

minimalB - We fixed a caching issue that lasted for approx. 2 hours. The error caused missing decimal places for the BTC/EUR market and prevented any trades from taking place in the BTC/EUR market. No money changed hands using the wrong price points.
Everything is back to normal and we hope that the next time 1 BTC = 320k EUR, it is not a display error.
