there is something in bad karma for City and PSG, you can't win Champions League just with money, domestic championship yeah, because it is a lengthy season, and who is stable during the season win it in the end, but Champions League is different, and there is one match in the end, where you have to prove it that you are the best

Chelsea proved that on Saturday, and that is it

It was crazy, I guess it could have been entirely different game if Fernandinho started the game, the first problem for City was that they couldn't dictate the game although they had more possession but the game was completely different from what they wanted it to be.

Nevertheless you've just got to respect Tuchel, and the work he's done so far at Chelsea, they'll be the team to beat next season imo!

^ Nope... It def wasn’t and yes I do mind in how City lost. For what they have they weren’t even much of a threat against Chelsea. Pep needs to adapt and get a big guy to spearhead the attack or at least get a big guy as a sub just in case he needs it.

Maybe it wasn't most exciting final we ever saw, but for Chlese it would be difficult to win in different style. And they fully deserved to win, they didn't let City to create almost anything dangerous. It's amazing what Tuchel did with Chelsea, before season nobody mentioned them as potential title contenders. It would be interesting to see Lampard reaction when he watched this game. Now Tuchel won against Guardiola 3 times just in 2 months. Impressive.

Hey guys, sorry, I didn't realise even also fees weren't ever settled on but happy also to add the fee of my share to the winner(s), so don't worry winner still gets something from this pool for the effort, at the very least the promised sponsorship+my fee. Shame we didn't get so many participants either, big premier competition like this;) Maybe we settle these things earlier next season!

On the match -- I'm a neutral in this final so I feel like I should admit it and say it's not such a bad game to watch after all, hope they can keep this tempo in 2nd half. It was a really the sort of attack that's cut City open in past two encounters too, so wow, 0-1 Chelsea!

We didn't, yeah. I did ask a few times at the beginning, as the competition went on it made less and less sense.

I'm going to back City without any doubts. Teams of Guardiola has won 14 out of 15 finals they had played, it's very impressive result. So, Pep really knows how to win it. Your combo looks nice and I think it's safe bet, it would be difficult to expected that just 1 goal will be scored. Also, I wouldn't back Chlesea with full time win. If they will win it, I think it's most likely that game will go to extra time or penalties, but I doubt that Chelse can win on 90 minutes.

It’s not a safe combo actually. I played the bet builder thingy at Sportsbet. Lol. I was just clicking buttons and went with whatever made sense at the time. I went with City to win, BTTS, under 4.5 goals, over 3.5 corners for both clubs and Jorginho to be carded. The line is 21.

It is CL final, you don't play nice football in those game, you win it any way you can. I agree on the cards but I don't see this game finishing with many goals. I am expecting very defensive encounter and would not even be surprised with 0:0 draw in regular time. They will not risk much going forward but both teams like to do high pressing so I am hoping for some interception close to opponents goal as a way to break the deadlock early and give us entertaining encounter.

It'll probably be one of those games where there's either loads of goals or not many at all. There last match-ups have been 1-2, 1-0, 1-3 and 2-1 and both teams should be fired up for it hence why I could see a fair few goals unless they both cancel each other out. I'll be watching it but I'm hoping it's not going to be a boring one.

from my point of view, both teams have similar chances to lift the trophy, and would back Chelsea with a bet, since it has more value on @4.7 than City below @2
City had better season and at one point won 20 matches in a row, so they won Premier league, but lately both teams play good football, and there is a good motive to win Champions league, so I would not call City a favorite here

also I do not expect goals, maybe fast goal can make things different, but it will be a defensive match, and probably under2.5 is the best bet prior to the match

it will be nice to see audience on the stadium, limited, but better than empty

^ Real def a lot tougher squad and they’ve been in these kind of spots before and won. But Kroos, Modric, Casemiro and some core players are either injured or are not 100%. So Zidane has bit of a problem there.

Real has to score at least one goal so I am expecting them to play their usual attacking style at least from half time. Chelsea was better team in first match and I expect they will again make several promising chances, it is just a question of how many misses will Werner produce today.

Yup... The match going to a kick off would be fun. I hope it happens in the final too after a 3 - 3 goal fest with City winning the trophy in end. Cheesy

City finally managed to get to CL finals, had a perfect showing against PSG today. I am only sad that Mbappe was not able to play a part today, maybe we would have had a more interesting game then.

Weather has been pretty weird this year over here. Doesn't look like it snowed much though.

Hard game to call. I thought Real would win easily in the home fixture but Chelsea did well to hold them to a draw. I'll probably go for another draw. Real are the better team but I guess Chelsea will have the slight home advantage and maybe Real playing on their training ground was a bit of a hinderance. Kinda hope Real go though though as the CL final is usually boring when it's two teams from the same league. Anyone know if Ramos is playing?

yeah, we are already wearing t-shirt and shorts, but it is obviously much colder in Manchester, last night was around 3-4 degrees during the match

nevertheless, City is in the final, and will have good chances to lift the trophy, no matter which opponent, Chelsea look easier on the paper, but their form is rather better than Real, so will be tight fight tonight, and good in the final, City should be favorite on bookies for the final, IMO, even if Real pass through (expect that, TBH), we will see
