City trashed Brugge, it was not that bad until the penalty at the end of first half, and after that Brugge were simply down and let everything
nevertheless, Vanaken scored another one, third goal in three matches, I know that Belgium has great midfielders, but Vanaken has to have his place in their squad

Sporting trashed Besitkas as well, did not expect that

Ajax is up two goals, Inter 1:0, four goals in Madrid, and two in Paris, interesting round overall up to this point

Trofo, casperBGD, yeah let's just enjoy the game. I only bet on 2 games (Inter and Liverpool) and then of course some specials. Brugge is being hammered with plenty of time left, so City are now jogging around for fun. But I need more cards/corners/goals damn! City's scoreline flattery though, they are okay but not spectacular. Poor Mignolet. Heh.

@cryptofrka: you've no idea how much I'm looking forward to tonight. Madrid's been a pain in our ass for the entire reign of Klopp.

@hilariousandco let us know if we should pay.

My original prizee add-on offer still stands, but if we cancel, I shouldn't be surprised.

What do you guys think? Snapshot after this game week and start fresh (as I don't think anyone wants to pay)? I'll still put a small tip/prize on the rest of the season, for no fee, but only for those who've signed up already.

P.S. When we are going to pay signup fee?

Are we even paying it? I mean, it would suit me as I'm currently 3rd overall, but it kinda makes a bit less sense - after tomorrow we'll already have half of the group stage behind us.

Regarding the games, I can't wait for us to slap Atletico today. So much has been said about Klopp 'not respecting' them, when all he said was that they play boring football. I think all football fans would agree with that, I hope we show them how it's played tonight. Will be difficult though, I think that Liverpool has 6 away defeats against Spanish teams in a row.

Slava Ukraini!
will skip that, but I think about backing Brugge tonight
Sheriff had great performance in first two rounds, but I do think that Inter would win tonight

what about PSG and Leipzig, anyone thinking about an upset here? Leipzig last chance to think about next round, and PSG is under pressure as well, and they did not proved great when under pressure
I won't back Sheriff too. 3 wins in 3 games for them is too much. But I doubt that Inter will have easy life.
Brugge looked very solid in first 2 rounds, but I think that City will win tonight. I'm thinking about BTTS @1.85, or safer bet over 2.5 goals @1.5
Agree with Trofo, Ajax - Borussia probably will be best game tonight, but I can't find good value bets for this game.
While Atletico - Liverpool probably won't be that fun to watch, and I pick under 2.5 goals @1.80.
Not bad odds for Real win, but I skip this game. Shakhtar isn't easy opponent for Real and last season they lost twice against them

P.S. When we are going to pay signup fee?

Anyone want to back Sheriff again tonight? 16/1 vs Inter.
As usual I am taking a bit safer option than you, both to score @2.2 is enough for me. I am expecting Sheriff to be their usual clinical counter attacking side and score one goal. Inter should be good for at least one goal as well.

what about PSG and Leipzig, anyone thinking about an upset here? Leipzig last chance to think about next round, and PSG is under pressure as well, and they did not proved great when under pressure
PSG should win this, they are missing Neymar and Di Maria which is maybe even good for them. Team will have much easier job covering defense with just Messi and Mbappe on the pitch, while those two have more than enough attacking threat to break Leipzig defense. I thought of taking both to score here but took PSG to win in the end.

Nobody mentioned Ajax - Dortmund yet, should be hands down most entertaining game tonight. Both to score is @1.39 and over 2.5 goals @1.35. Those odds tell a story of their own. Skipping when betting since the odds are way too small but expecting goals galore.

Gentlemen, UCL resumes tonight. I got caught out too, I knew at the back of my head Tues/Wedn are European games but it still feels like Liverpool only just played. Good thing for Superbru reminder!

So with 2 days rest and travel, we get Atletico (who had a game postponed) but I don't mind at all. Conditioned bodies versus fresh legs are my pick any day. Fabinho and Alisson have been waiting in Madrid anyway because of quarantine so Klopp has happy headaches.

Halab is Halab. It's me Smiley.

Oh my, I'm so sorry I seem to have missed out on your username before, and you're even a staff member! Well congratulations and thanks for joining this league, it is strange to have so few members when it's the biggest club competition in the whole world! The fee even is not very high.

hilarious by the way, when are we paying this? I believe I haven't yet.

Barcelona and Real Madrid losing to shitters Roll Eyes. They really aren't the teams they used to be. I can't say I'd care to watch any of the games they're involved in now. I bet the viewership for the El Classico will be pretty pathetic this year. I wonder if this will be PSGs year for the CL. Didn't expect them to beat City and went with a draw on that one but maybe City can bag the win on the return fixture at home.

Yeah, I guess only buwaytress saw Chelsea coming... But I'm very happy with 2 close, 1 result and 1 exact from last night, even if I still have to make a lot of distance to the top in this pool. I'm in midtable in two other leagues so this particular pool of players are really good! Who is Halab here? And who is fortebet who seems to give up?

regarding pool, Manchester and Sevilla late goals, and I have two exact scores, not that bad
Exactly the same situation with me and those 2 were my only 2 exact results yesterday. Usually it goes the other way around and I am losing points in last minutes.

Got several correct both to score picks yesterday but Chelsea loss hurt me bad. Never seen that one coming.

Nicely done, casperBGD, I've slid all the way down to 11th in the pool. The only silver lining is I put 4 bets -- 2 betbuilders and 1 outright on Juventus at over 4/1, so I somehow managed to make money from a terrible run. As long as I keep hedging predictions with bets, I guess I don't mind sitting at the bottom. Just would have been far happier if Villareal actually kept their lead. Ronaldo saves the day for United yet again.

Barcelona would be the peak of my surprises for this week.

had put some small money on Benfica, just for statistics, due to Sporting and Porto losing, both Spanish teams yesterday goes to away wins, it was clear that it will not happen to Spanish teams today, and in the end, neither team go to away win, only Sevilla made it to draw

yeah, Chelsea was better than Juventus, until goal, but it was far from exciting, nevertheless, it would probably be all different if Szczesny would not save Lukaku shot early on, he give confidence to Juve defense and to keep clean sheet in the end

Great call on your Juventus bet,  Chelsea after looking really invisible for some months and now they've lost two in a row to teams one would think they have a slight edge or advantage over. 1 shot on target over their last 180 minutes of football doesn't look good at all imo.

I was able to maintain my spot at the top of the leaderboard, but Halab has impressively got this week's game round. Barcelona would be the peak of my surprises for this week.

I am thinking both to score in Barca game since there should be goals in this one. Same market for Salzburg and Atalanta games.

My main bet for tonight will be Chelsea to win against Juve, provided there is no covid outbreak in their squad. So far they are missing Kante due to covid and it is always possible more cases will appear. Juve with injured Morata and Dybala in post CR era against one of the best defenses should be too much to overcome.

For once we're on the same page then, I've got an acca with all 3 of these games BTTS, would have added Juve/Che except missing key goalscorers/providers. Tagged on 2 home team wins in MLS for just over 12/1 so I can avoid following 2 late games if all 3 UCL legs meet.

Still regretting missing out Sheriff. Saw a regular bookie provide 27/1, which means it would have easily been 30/1 boosted on Sportsbet... but I'm going to go for a simpler Villareal outright at 7/1 instead. Because Ole's going to panic and do something he shouldn't.

Super Boost small bet on Juventus at 41/10. Can you ever imagine them getting odds like that at home?

Enjoy the games, I definitely am looking forward, tough week at work! One hour to make dinner at then blind myself on footie haha.

... If Werner starts, I might put something on him to score as well.
That is brave and masochistic choice, especially if you plan to watch the game. Given his form this last two seasons he will miss at least few good chances before finally scoring. Maybe it will happen but it will be painfull to watch for sure  Grin Chelsea win and Lukaku to score on a betbuilder looks good, I'll probably add Chelsea to keep clean sheet as well. Should be good odds.

I'm also joining the 'Chelsea to win' team. This year's Juventus looks really weak to me, Chelsea is playing well and is really tough to break down so the odds really do have good value.

Juventus conceded 10 goals in their 6 Serie A games, I expect them to be under pressure tonight. Lukaku to score might be a good bet as well, as much as I love Chiellini and Bonucci, they are over 70 years old together and they will physically find it hard against him for 90 minutes. If Werner starts, I might put something on him to score as well.

interesting bet, solid value, but I am inclined to under2.5 more than Chelsea to win

there is several "already seen" home wins tonight (Atalanta, Manchester United, Zenit), one "should be" home win - Salzburg, and two matches that could go on any side, Benfica - Barca and Wolfsburg - Sevilla
last match is all about how many will Bavarians score, my bet is on five pieces for Dynamo

and since Atletico scored last night, it is hard to believe that all Spain team will go to away wins, so will bet on either Benfica or Wolfsburg

Barca the value punt at 25/10 tonight? We've got Fati who must be hungry for a European goal (I never forget him for winning me a Club World Cup trip to Dubai haha).
