Livecasino, 20% cashback, no fuss payouts.
I paid for both pools already, nice to use campaign payments from Livecasino and consolidate them together Smiley

I noticed min BTC payment for withdrawal from both Sportsbet and Livecasino is 2 mbtc, so I couldn't pay from there as usually do all the time, but no problem of course. Seems like BTC has become quite expensive and that's good for us.

Next season to pay attention, I drew with leea in BSFL so surely I can also tie with him in Serie A lol

Nobody wants Juventus next season? New look and no more in Super League!!

Started getting some applications, don't worry if I don't answer you guys, it is on purpose. I am waiting for Superbru to create the leagues and for me to come back home to my hardware wallet. That way I can take care of everything in one go. Send you link to join and mark your tx in my wallet. You have done our part now just relax and wait for the pools to start.

I am expecting it be done around 01.08. Will let you all know in the thread. As always same is valid for La Liga pool.

Paid! Happy to get all these pool fees out of the way so I don't forget down the road.

I actually also really like the pool size. Obviously, more is better for everyone, and for the winners, but these Spanish/Italian pools now have very active, very proper regulars, high quality discussion that helps me follow the leagues I don't really watch.

I decided to also not throw money away on outrights this season. Just not worth it for the value right now. Perhaps mid-season, when some teams are no longer rated, who knows.

Hey guys, OP has been updated and you can start sending 1.5BTC participation fees when you feel like it. Still a lot of time left so you can spread it a bit and diffuse the impact of playing all the pools.

Here are the rewards:
1. 100 mBTC cash for pool rewards (over 3000$ at the moment)
2. 0.5 mBTC free bet for all participants paid when the league starts and we have final number of participants
3. 1 mBTC for each week yellow cap winner

Big thanks to our sponsor Sportsbet once again. You have escrow addy in the OP. Same one as last couple of years.

Premier League pool is too big for my preference. Of course I am playing it, but I am liking these ones better  Grin

agree, it is too big for my sense
not that I don't have any chances because there is more participants, it is just that I don't know many participants and can't familiarize with the pool, so it is just playing for money, fun is taken away from equation

would not put outrights this season, odds are devastating, but Lazio to CL have solid odds @2.5, and IMO it is a sure thing, will probably put something and hedge throughout the season

Well i think in the exact same way as you, but i also think its good to have one huge pool for the health of the forum and to have a big prizepool to share.

About the outright you mention, i dont know. Because Lazio its always a irregular team and this time they ended in the top more for the bad season of the other teams than for thei capacity.

As I understand it, regardless of the size of the fee, these are not the most popular pools (not like the Premier League or the Champions League) and it seems to me that all regular participants will participate here in any case.

Premier league pool is most popular, but Champions league had meaningful number of participants first time this season
in previous seasons, Champions league could not get sponsorship, and was played between several participants, around 10 or something, just for fun
~

It is obvious that the largest influx of participants is provided by the sponsorship prize fund, I did not know how things were before, since I started participating only from last season. I hope this year it will be too, although I will participate anyway - as I wrote, I appreciate this as a small cashback to my favorite forum that in a sense pays me money through a signature campaign  Cheesy

Great to heard this news. In my personal case and like i was mading in the last years im gonna play both pools like ever. About the fee, i dont have any problem with a 2mbtc fee, but lets see what its the opinion of the mayority, i also hope to see more people in the pool, not so much but a few more can be interesting.
Agreed, I actually think 20 people in the pool is a sweet spot and we usually have a little less than that. It is enough to make it competitive and have good conversations in the thread. On the other hand it is small enough that you feel you know everybody and it is much easier to be closer to the top.

seems that I am the only one that is thinking about 1.5mBTC fee, just wanted to say that I will play no matter fee, but prefer it to be 1.5mBTC, not just because this pool, I am playing at least 7-8 per season, and it mount some difference in the end (although that difference does not make it to want to cut some pools)

bump it here, as Trofo asked in La Liga topic Smiley

personally, I would not like 2 mBTC fee, not that I would skip pool this season, but something in between (1.5) would be better, especially since there are two pools, Calcio and La Liga
it would be nice to see participants at least match half of sponsorship pool, so that could be a guideline, but 2 seems as upping last season enter a lot in USD value

I agree to any fee for participating in the voiced range. I will participate in any case, but of course if there are freebets, it will be nice.

I've no preference and am fine with whatever fees the majority agrees on.

Matching half of the sponsorship pool would be challenging though, doubt we've ever done so...we'd need a significant influx of new players to join for that to happen.

In any case, i'm looking forward to the new season.  Smiley

Hey guys, good news, we will again be sponsored by Sportsbet this season. They will put up 100 mBTC for the main pot. There will also probably be usual free bets but I still have to iron out the details.

I will open signups soon but wanted to get a bit of feedback about buy in this season. It will be in a range 1-2 mBTC. I am leaning more towards 2 or at least 1.5 but wanted to check up with regulars. Don't want to price anybody out. Most of us here are playing all the pools and that adds up quite quickly.

Same deals and question go for Serie A so i would appreciate if somebody quotes this in that thread and bumps it up as well. Writing this while waiting on Montenegro/Croatia border

Just checking in here to see how we're all doing for new season. I'll probably need to check in La Liga too, to sort of drum up support and remind people to get some money ready for new pools, yeah?

Season starts a week after EPL -- it feels like we have to wait longer and longer now for season starts (in my mind it's always July) so maybe it's just my hold on calendar start but apparently this is actually an early start for Italy. Which explains why the new schedule isn't out yet.

It can't be Napoli again, too soon to talk about Juve's relegation and Lazio wild card?

I'm in, although Serie A for me is just pain and almost zero positive emotions  Grin Although the Napoli title in itself is already a huge gift for fans like me (I'm mostly for underdogs).
By the way, you can already start collecting entry fees - suddenly Bitcoin grows to 100k+ and then people will be more reluctant to part with their mbtc  Grin

had outright on Lazio last season, it was a longshot @51, but ended up being good choice, if there was not for superior Napoli

this season, Lazio odds are really low for my perspective, Napoli to defend title looks pretty much impossible, I would not put Inter or Milan, so left with Atalanta or Roma, longshots, but not without any chances

will wait a bit and decide

The schedule is set to be released next week, 5th July.

Indeed, mid-August start dates for Serie A are uncommon, partly due to the weather, since no one wants to play ball in temps of 30°C or more.

With the EURO next year, i suppose everyone will have to start a few weeks earlier.

Can someone please tag me when you start paying fees for the La Liga pool? I'll be joining the pool this year, ...honestly can't wait to get my ass kicked and finish bottom three. Grin

agree, a heartbreaker for Bari and their fans, but seeing Ranieri crying after overtime scoring and securing Serie A was also a great feat
he joined when Cagliari was in a position to fight against relegation from Serie B, consolidated the team, reached play-off, and overturned two better positioned teams, so both times Cagliari needed a win in two duels

hopefully he will stay next season, and show some skills in Serie A as well

Knowing that a draw is all you need is a double-edged sword.

Cagliari was indeed the better team tonight, even if they didn't have that many scoring chances aside from a few crosses.

I'm not sure if Ranieri would have substituted in Pavoletti if it hadn't started pouring 5 minutes before the end. The boy he replaced was Cagliari's best/most dangerous player....Luvumbo.

In any case, a heartbreaker for Bari and their fans....about 60k at San Nicola, incredible atmosphere as you would expect.

Don't agree with this,

Cagliari also disagrees, but accepted it and scored in overtime to secure a win in Bari, and they are back to Serie A next season

Ranieri made great tactics and Cagliari was much better tonight, while Bari tried to save the draw

Verona will probably also stay, it is close to end, and they are leading against Spezia

good compensation for Auxerre going down, now I again have favorite team in Serie A
