What a showing from top Italian teams, eh? All still alive in the Champions League and all dropping points for everyone else to pick up. Didn't watch any of them so can't really comment, all I can say is am glad Napoli odds were so low I didn't put them on any tickets this week -- probably same for both Milans.

No questions for Napoli - they already have Serie A in their pocket and are now busy with the Champions League where their situation has become more difficult. But the rest of the teams certainly look like clowns (maybe except for Lazio). Inter have 11 (!!!) losses in 30 games, do they deserve a place in the Champions League next year? Don't even know  Cheesy

A lot is at stake for all three teams, so as you can expect there were lineup changes made. For example, Maignan was the only starter who played mid-week, heavy rotations for both Napoli and Inter. I only had the guts to go against my team in our pool. Inter unlucky not to win honestly,  they wasted quite a lot of chances to go ahead and got surprised off a corner.

If they keep it up, Roma and Lazio could make the CL together for the first time in 15 years. Wouldn't that be something? Lol, let me not jinx Mourinho, it's far too early.... Grin

Happy to be back on track myself on Inter and Milan -- these are the teams I've been saying to spam on handicap bets. Feeling a bit silly for not backing those same results on Superbru but with my position, I have to try and go for the majority to try and catch points on exact scores/slams. Napoli was on my ticket (despite no big O) I think the Milan disaster was a one-off.

Fiorentina let down though?

Inter Milan just threw a 6 minute early goal down the drain in the 90th minute, a match in which they dominate for the entire 90 minute, they easily should have been at least 2-4 goals up before the the stunning equalizer from Candreva, Inter had 25 created attempts and 11 shots on target, but Ochoa the Salernitana's goalkeeper was equal to the task with so many outstanding saves to keep the host in the game, before they got a leveler and he would be my man of the match, and just my opinion.

------------

Napoli is currently underway vs Lecce, but they are without their outstanding star boy and also the current top goal scorer in the Serie A, Victor Osimehn, but still Lecce shouldn't be a tough game for them regardless.
I knew there would be surprises yesterday, no way three big favorites in same league are all winning on Friday night when there is not much games to choose when betting. I just did not know who will be the one that drops points. In the end both Milan clubs did badly and Napoli is one step closer to winning Serie A.

Very happy with correct score on Inter and a bit sad I did not get at least draw in Milan game.

Right so, Napoli, that's out of my system, hopefully out of theirs, really need them to be okay and back in the groove heh heh. Osimhen gets an injury update tomorrow but I'm kind of hoping they just sit him out again so he's well ready for next week's revenge meet.

Still, pretty pleased your team is also waking up at the right time, morvillz7z! I'm going to try bet live for the UCL clashes. On the team that goes behind first, if they do, in first half.

0:4, pretty much unbelievable, didn't watch it, because I was going with my toddler to watch handball live, but could not believe that Napoli lost in that fashion - can this be just a precautionary loss to destroy Milan in CL QF?

Napoli had it's chances but couldn't convert, due in part to Osimhen not playing, and part of it we having our starting GK Maignan back, those five months while he was out was absolute torture.

My main takeaway from this match was that our central midfielders completely outplayed the opposition:

Lazio won another match, closing out for a second position, and direct placement to CL next season

Lotito is not known for spending a lot of money on transfers, imo, it would be a wasted opportunity if they don't sign some quality players in the next transfer window...their bench is very thin.

So Napoli being Napoli and Milan being Milan was yesterfay no?

I dont know what to say about Italian teams in general, one day they wake up in amazing state of form and other day seems like they have hangover.

How in the hell this very poor Milan can destroy 4-0 in Maradona Stadium at this Napoli in his prime?.

We see something similar a few weeks ago with Roma winning against Juve or i dont remember good what top team, and in the next round losing agasint CREMONESE in home.

Coming back to yesterday game, i think most of Napoli fans were thinking,"well better now and in Serie A than in UCL".

Only one problem for Napoli tonight, they will be without Osimhen.

is Osimhen that important, or they were just shit all-round?

Yeah they'll be happy and will probably go far in UCL but Scudetto is what they want. Easy Napoli legs on my ticket all day any day, as long as odds make it above 15/10.

And the food is as good as they say in the South too... I gorged myself on seafood daily a few years back, fresh as can be, at extremely good prices!
Only one problem for Napoli tonight, they will be without Osimhen. Not sure if they will be as dangerous as usual without him. And they have really big advantage in the league so I smell a possible tight game and low scoring draw. I skipped this match today, just because of that. Both to score is also much lower in value without player like Osimhen.

How can I forget how bad Inter are? Oh, yeah, when odds against them aren't big enough.

Need to remember to pick against them every now and then for Superbru though! Quite a few of us did well so far with the week's round? And Roma looks on their way... Gini Wijnaldum back from the dead.

Milan is playing Napoli over the weekend, and this seems to be rather unimportant match, comparing to CL QF that these teams are playing
Don't think so, yes Napoli will want to go far in CL but their dream is to get the league title and I am sure they will play every game like crazy until they have secured it beyond any doubt. It will be one hell of a celebration down there and I am seriously thinking of making a visit and getting hammered with their supporters before the big thing. Have some business on south of Italy and just read an article that they have very good prices for drinking and eating out. So....

Lazio has away match against Monza, positioned on second place, it was a good outright bet, didn't expected such a great season from Napoli, dough
Inter vs Fiorentina and Juventus playing Verona tomorrow, nothing to eagerly plan to watch

rather good last round, will try to repeat it

Is AC Milan so terrible that they got only x2.22 to win? Or is Udinese actually so good? lol

Today after a week of not doing anymore moneywasting multibets, I've taken now Monza, Bologna, Milan, Fiorentina and Napoli. I don't think I ever made an all-Italian multi recently so wish me luck!!

It's difficult to trust teams like Monza or Bologna to win no matter who they face. I went the opposite route and backed both Salernitana and Cremonese to get something in our pool, i had few winners along the way.

As for Milan, Pioli recently changed our formation and we are now playing with three at the back (which is far from ideal and is not what the team is used to), Theo was out with flu-like symptoms, and Leao is in poor form. Yeah, can't say i'm surprised we lost! Udinese is a physical team that plays direct football, usually extra motivated when they get to play the top six sides.

I did terrible, I'm not even angry about Monza or Bologna and since they all drew, both of us are losers, I am mad about Milan doing what I thought they were going to do and yet started to believe in them.

Both the Milan teams are just so annoying, these are guys in Champions League quarterfinals and yet? The worst scenario is if Milan knock Napoli out there somehow lol

have to say taht I do not follow Calcio that close, but now seeing that CL fight is really interesting there
four teams for three places, and just Lazio took point this round, Milan yet to play against Salernitana, as they are relegation fighters, not CL teams

but relegation fight is non-existent, Cremonese and Sampdoria are already out, and Verona is pretty close to join them
Cagliari won after four draws in Serie B, but direct promotion is out of reach, play-off spot is best what they can do

Yep, that's why all the action is upper mid table. Not to keen to see Cagliari back, but haven't followed Serie A, much less Serie B, to know if they're worth it (they're not, duh).

I'm actually sitting back tonight and taking a break this week to recoup and try make sure I have enough funds to last me this month! Salernitana's my final ticket, though so if they hit, I might spam Napoli (boring).

My Sampdoria bet didn't make it, and I'm not changing my luck by changing my strategy, it seems much harder to hit upsets when you're betting on your own, and yet seeing buway do it so often I should have faith right? AC Milan lose today?

Roma is continuing their show, Cremonese, win over Juventus and Sociedad, and now Sassuolo, nice time to loss a game
although, Sassuolo knows how to score several against favorites, just remember Milan away match

Juventus left to play against Sampdoria, should be a home win, but not on my parlay
Crazy games in Italy today, but nobody can say they aren't fun to watch. We had everything from cards to plethora of goals and turnarounds. Juventus was 2:0 up and that would be it for the game in their golden days. There wouldn't be another chance on either side of the pitch. But this is a different kind of Juve and now it is 2:2. I know their supporters would not agree but I prefer this Juve that is interesting to watch Smiley

I think we all have to thank Napoli for wrapping up the league quickly (and hate Roma for making them lose and slow them down) because it's nice to see everyone fight it out like crazy for UCL spots.

I don't know Juventus anymore to be honest. I thought they were slowly returning to old ways but then now it's Barca who keep winning 1-0!!
