But in fact, all games where the result has an impact on other teams/depends on other teams are played at the same time on June 4th. I just checked all the teams that can dramatically change their position (Eurocup position/Relegation from Serie A) are: Roma, Juventus, Spezia, Verona, Atalanta - they all play at the same time.
Yeah, they grouped all the teams that play same battle in same time slot and then spread those slots over few days. More money from TV rights and not really a problem from fairness point of view. That being said I like to have a whole last round in one slot since that makes it somewhat special.

Premier League and Bundesliga last rounds gave us a lot of drama, I hope same will happen in Serie A and La Liga  Grin

I don't even know what has to happen in the last round for it to be considered a drama. The fight between Spezia and Verona for the right to stay in Serie A is probably mostly interesting only to their fans. Maybe if Roma lose again and get into the Conference League again? It will certainly be terrible and somewhat dramatic after such an overall good season.

Looks like Serie A or Lega Calcio has decided to deprive us of the full final game day drama, like Bundesliga and the EPL did last weekend, I know there are are quite a number slots and position stil not decided yet, and the most fun part of the day to be watching a getting all results simultaneously, from being nervous to being very hope and how the standings in the pool could fluctuate from kickoff to the final whistle is some kind feeling that doesn't come by so often, so I really would have preferred all the games being played at the same time.

so I really would have preferred all the games being played at the same time.

they have could try to do that, but obviously gave preference to their teams playing European competitions
Fiorentina is playing today due to Conference league finals, and then it does not mattered to have all others on same time, although La Liga did that, Sevilla playing day earlier due to Europa league finals (proved successful), but all others on same time, as usual

with all said, there is one dilemma, Spezia or Verona to Serie B, both having difficult matches aside, Milan and Roma, will be interesting to see will they keep their names to favorites, or just let go relegation fighters take points

Sudtirol sounds like a name from PES when they did not have the licenses so opted for stuff like that  Grin

it is a bit off-topic, but we don't have Serie B topic, and from these two one can enter Serie A next season
Cagliari overturned match against Parma in last ten minutes and won 3:2, after being 0:2 down, there is a second leg, but moral boost is certainly here

in other match Sudtirol won over Bari 1:0, but I expect from Bari to win at home and reach play-off finals
Thanks for information, I forgot about promotion playoffs. I really want that Parma would get promoted. Not just because it's legendary club, but more because of Buffon. It would be something special if he will get chance to make Last Dance in Serie A being 45 years old.
Sudtirol, honestly, I never heard about this club before this season. Their name sounds like it would be Austrian club and it was just their first season in Serie B.
I don't think anybody minds a small off topic like that here. After all some of those teams will be part of Seria A next season and we will have to predict their results as well.

One last round to try and get a prize for those of us like me on the fringes. Felt like should have taken a risk with last night but in the end a draw nullifies even a home upset.

I actually still haven't got Serie A games on my ticket this week, despite some tempting odds (even Sassuolo game was over 2/1 but see how it ended up being a trap?).

That first prize winner is massive even at today's bargain Bitcoin huh. Good luck bastards.

Yeah, the winner would be working away with quite a bag of BTC, too bad we are not in the $60k per Bitcoin zone right now, but it's still going to be some relevant.

Atalanta vs Inter Milan ended up as close as I expected but Atalanta conceding two goals in 3 minutes put Inter Milan in the driving seat for majority of the game, and I knew there was no way to get totally back into the game for Atalanta, but they did had some great efforts and could have been a different game, if they'd not gone down by 2 freaking goals that early into the match.

Yeah am with Mou on this, not sure why the other managers haven't spoken up (I suspect also worried it'll bite them back at some point) but Calcio keeps finding ways to make themselves look like the most incompetent organisers of league football.

My mistake for the week ends up being what gave the yellow cap of the week, I mean Monza upset vs Napoli, but then is anyone paying attention to Saint-loup ransacking almost every single pool this season, extraordinary stuff!

I have been paying attention, and he's just getting away with it, I'm really upset with myself at not putting up proper fights... except in La Liga and I might even blow that with the remaining games as am only in 10th spot there.

I'm curious how he'd perform in Ligue 1 -- assuming he knows his stuff best in his local league ha

<...> Truth be told, if they were supposedly going uphold the point deduction, the least they could is let count from next season, you don't give someone hope for a couple of weeks just take it back in the penultimate week before the season ends. <...>

Oh, don't you worry, there is another trial going on.  Cheesy

Juventus is very likely to be docked points to begin next season as well. It's pretty serious what they did with players' salaries, cooking their books, etc.

It was delusional to think that the penalty would be overturned, if not for else, being reduced to 10 points this late favored them. All they had to do was win three straight...
No matter what they did, you can't play with penalty like this. Changing the points and granting it, then overruling it then again giving the penalty.....It makes a whole league look bad and impacts other clubs as well. I don't like Mou but I must agree with him on this point.

Juve is guilty, punish them as much as is appropriate but do it in a way to minimalize collateral damage to other clubs.

Exactly my point, point deductions aren't the kind of penalties that the Calcio FA whatever the hell they're called should be going back and forth with, if this stiff penalties are to be handed to a team, they best be sure it's going to be final and irreversible, not via any form of appeal or trial nor even the CAS, what the hell have happened to other disciplinary actions like Transfer ban or fines, huh ??

10 - CL if they win all games

Calcio is a joke Smiley
but Empoli took justice in their hands, and scored three goals against Juventus, so they will miss CL next season

Roma also missed win tonight, so they made their quest for CL a one time show, final against Sevilla and trophy will bring them CL position

I don't know what could be more demoralizing than waking up to prepare for a Monday night fixture only to discover all the efforts been putting over the past few weeks wouldn't make any difference after all.

The Federal Court of Appeal will have its hearing on the Juventus capital gains scandal on Monday and increasing reports suggest the Serie A points penalty will be 12, a reduction from 15.

If this is confirmed early next week, the Bianconeri will miss out on the Champions League. Milan will only need three points to take fourth place, that's of course, if Roma fails to win all three of their remaining matches (they have a tough visit in Florence) just days before their Europa League final against Sevilla.

FIGC prosecutor Giuseppe Chine has asked for Juventus to be handed an 11-point deduction in their new capital gains trial.

15 or 12 - meant no CL for Juve
11 -  CL if they win all games and beat Milan over the weekend with 2+ goals
10 - CL if they win all games

Man, I gotta stick to my guns and keep backing the top 4 NOT to win, really. Everyone seems too comfortable now in their places, even with things to fight for, both Milans probably just going to keep their backs to the wall in UCL, while Napoli is already in honeymoon mode, Monza took advantage.

3 more game rounds to go, theoretically I should still have a chance at Top 10 but it's looking farther away each round... especially if I keep backing the Top 4/5s.
I was thinking just like that. Napoli won the title and I expected them to be off and maybe loose the game but I was sure they will show up and play super attacking football. Of course I played both to score and was super happy when Monza scored first just for Napoli to loose 2:0.

There will heaps of strange results in Serie A before the end. Perfect time for you to catch some of those 10+ odds Smiley

If I had reviewed my picks last weekend, I'm sure I would have altered the 2-0 I had in favour of Monza over of Napoli to Napoli 2-1 win or something, because It still feels like a mistake I made to me, as for tonight match against Sassuolo it was pretty much intentional for me, and I watched every single minute of the game, Sassuolo looked like the better team until they scored their first goal, but after that Monza were slightly better when attacking and they got their deserved equalizer, not to long after was when Sassuolo were down to 10 men and I felt perhaps, Monza could get me another exact score for second consecutive weekly, and they sure did.  Cool
