And Sassuolo get the 1-3 win I had on for so long before changing to what I thought was a safer 1-1. So frustrating that I let their results make me second guess myself.

Season end not bringing any betting joy huh morvillz and Harko. Bookies are loving all of this seriously.

And after today we should know for certain some pool spots. Only top 3 take something home here right?
I an a bit rusty but I believe 4th place pays out as well, and on top of that we should have something for highest yellow cap.

This is from the OP:
Quote
Rewards:

We have 60 mBTC (40 mBTC Sportsbet sponsorship + 5 buwaytress sponsorship + 15x1 mBTC  buy in fee) in the pool, I decided to award first 4 places and best yellow cap this season.
1. place - 25 mBTC
2. place - 15 mBTC
3. place - 10 mBTC
4. place - 5 mBTC
Highest yellow cap - up to 5 mBTC, basically gets all that is left after paying tx fee

Not at home so I can't check it at the moment but I believe this should be updated for current season and reflecting real state of our bank. I try to make those things clear after registrations close so that there isn't any misunderstandings.

None of the picks are going my way right now, Udinese is currently losing to Spezia while, Hellas Verona is also losing to Torino (where I've gone with a draw), neither of all 4 teams have anything to play for so, I just had to follow my guts and their recent form and all.

Before this week's matches, Spezia was not out of the woods, they needed a point at least. It's strange being the only one in our pool to back them up. Spezia has a solid record away from home in Udine, having beaten them the previous season.

Verona and Torino indeed had nothing to play for, i chose Torino solely because of their coach, Ivan Juric, who was facing his former team, that extra motivation...

I expected so much more from Salernitana tbh, what else could they have asked for than a penalty in the 84th minute, but can't convert.

Watched the full game, could have gone either way to be fair. It was a very open match, Salernitana missed a few point black chances on top of the missed penalty. The guy who usually takes the penalties was subbed off just 5 minutes before the penalty, which was extremely unfortunate, Verdi would've scored.

Venezia got relegated a few hours ago, they might ship 3-4 goals to Roma, i have them at O2.5 + another ticket.

Oh damn you Salernitana. This is why I say penalties are not given in the hands of teams that aren't top half of a league. Coulda given me an exact score with 6 minutes left but then end up with zero (and to think I upgraded from 1-1). But not that it matters, Harko and Mo both also picked the same score heh.
~snip

I was with Empoli all the way, pushing for Cagliari to stay in the league
is winning over Inter even an option, I hope so

three matches today, all three misses, I am really irrelevant when comes to Calcio, Spezia won over Udinese is really a surprise for me

Not a bad way to start my day before I go out, hope to make it back without missing too much of Wembley.

It is not from Serie A completely but it is related to it.
Yesterday Inter came out champion of the Italian Cup again, something that had not happened since 2011.
Juventus ends the season without titles, a disastrous performance for such a great team.

And going back to Serie A they weren't even close to fighting for the title.
Never liked Juve so every trophy out of their hands is sort of a win for me Smiley

Perišić is playing one hell of the season and he was best player on the pitch yesterday as well. I can't believe they still did not offer him a new contract. i think he is loosing patience and I would not be surprised if he leave as a free player. This is borderline disrespectful.

Salernitana couldn't hang on to their lead, AC Milan stole my exact points score late into the game and gave it to @buwaytress, and Roma lost to a Fiorentina that has been declining for weeks, that I didn't foresee that, the most I expected was a draw, except for those, not a bad GW for me.

So we're officially 2 game weeks away from the end of the season, I was having quite a decent run in the recent weeks to keep me in the loop, but the competition is still high between some positions, it doesn't seem like a really tough set of fixtures left, except for a tricky few.

All of you guys can fight for the top 5 spots,,, I was there for a little while earlier on but it was actually to my own maximum surprise. I should have known that beginner luck does not last very long as since then I have come down to 10th with 20+ points to reach current 5th.

You guys played very well. Keep it up, next season I have more experience!

Roma were the slight underdogs and I guess it's a reflection of where they are (in a European final) that bookies were expecting them to rest and prepare. Still a shame that Mou can't take his team better in than where they are in the league now.

#1 spot is almost guaranteed now here and in Spanish pool. Fact that current leader is such a bastard midway through season kills me but yeah, now it's all about hanging on to the prize spots heh.

Told you it's going to be a bloodbath, 10 cards in 45 minutes including 2 reds off the pitch (they don't count but still)...what a game though, 100th min Cagliari equalizer. As i said earlier i was on them booking points: a and b.  Kiss
Good catch, that seems like a perfect case of a game where first half did not exists and everything worth mentioning happened in second half. I was on my customary both to score so that late goal came perfectly. Must admit I was getting nervous after total boredom of first half.

Amazing picks,,, too bad I was not looking at this thread when I was making my picks. I still did okay on the weekend with a multibet all of the games of over 1.5s (like a safer BTTS),,, but the cards option must have been fantastic. I am still trying to make myself believe that a team with -41 goal difference, the worst in the league, may stay up next season in the end. Wow.

For comparison current worst GD team in EPL and La Liga is -20 and better.

AC Milan must win tonight to remain the leader. AC Milan have a better team, of course, but I have the feeling that this could turn out to be a very difficult game and with a bit of bad luck it could also end in a draw. They have to make sure they take the lead quickly so that the pressure goes off a bit. If AC Milan lose, Inter will be smiling third. We saw more goals in some matches, the 4-3 was spectacular.

what a game though, 100th min Cagliari equalizer. *

could be a game changer for next season in Serie A
without that goal, it would be all over, now Genoa and Cagliari will fight till the end

Inter at home is hardly a chance, but Venezia in last round has to be a win to stay in, Salernitana is playing Empoli next round, could win saving points
shit, I use to have boring season ends, now have two relegation fights, with Cagliari and Everton, it is too much

Salernitana has been my go-to team to bet on in Serie A the last couple of weeks:

I'm telling you right now that i'm going heavy on the cards/booking points in this game, and 6+ is almost a guarantee (hell, it's even a red card territory @4.00+ odds) given the importance of the game.

Crazy how I've been dropping Atalanta points all the time on 3-1, then I choose 3-2 and they laugh at me and win 3-1.
I am proud how I started to get Atalanta correctly in pool and in tickets. Just remember, if they are playing at home subtract -1.5 from expected result and if they are playing away add that +1.5 to expected goals on Atalanta side Smiley Or even simple bet on them only in away games and against them in home games.

Really strange team that destroyed my tickets for years, time to give something back.

Man, I thought Inter was going to choke, and then what a comeback, I checked after game was over, didn't even realise they'd mounted a comeback before HT.

Like Trofo last week, I thought I was doing ok with scores, but then the 1st and 2nd-placed bastards did even better. Crazy how I've been dropping Atalanta points all the time on 3-1, then I choose 3-2 and they laugh at me and win 3-1.

Lecce and Cremonese are two of the new teams set to join Serie A next season, as the regular season in Serie B concluded minutes ago. I had to check Wikipedia to see when was the last time the team from Cremona played in the top flight of Italian football. It turns out it's been a while, first promotion since 1995-96...while Lecce everyone knows is the Norwich of Serie A, in and out of the league every other year. Lol

There is one more spot to be won, the Berlusconi-Galliani-led team of Monza fucked up again, they needed to win today to secure a promotion, but failed yet again...what it is now, three years in a row?! They still have a chance in the playoffs, though it's gonna be tough. Anyways, a fun weekend of football is ahead of us.  Smiley

edit; Criscito didn't miss this time Shocked, as well as three points for the pool, yay!

Man, well done, well done! Such a worthy win, and shame on me for actually having Juve on a ticket (the hell was I thinking when they really have nothing to play for).

Lecce do love being whipping boys, but good to see a new name, maybe they become another Salernitana? And yes I know it's too early to call them safe, but there is this little thing called momentum and they're brimming with it.

Nice win you've got, I was surprised you also got the exact score in the pool, and it's was just you alone with point from the game, no one else even had a draw, massive one!

Genoa finally keeping their hopes of not getting relegated alive, but it's of worthy note that Napoli is their next opponent as well.
