So if I get a proper pizza oven, I can make them in one go; that's very good to know! I may procure one but have to look more into the topic (for example gas vs. wood vs. electric).
While at proper pizzeria it would be unacceptable to have anything else than wood oven, at home this could be a little impractical. There are ovens that can get to 350°. Those usually come with a special slate where you can cook your pizza on.

Actually, in Italy you can find pizza into two different shops. Pizzeria, or “pizza restaurant”, where they serve the round pizza cooked on wood oven you might be familiar with.
Or you can go to the “forno”, bakery, where they usually sell Bread, fresh pasta and pizza prepared in rectangular baking dishes.

This pizza has a thicker and soft dough, that melts perfectly with the topping, that is cooked together with the dough.
