May Bitcoin be touched by his Noodly Appendage
August 24, 2013, 09:38:33 AM
Yeah, I know, I just mean it would be quite useful if the interface is translated.

Indeed I can even translate the whole Bitcointalk.
I can do it if you guys want it. I can do French. Maybe German and Dutch if bitcoininformation is ok to do it.
Yeah sure. If you provide a list with strings that need to be translated ;p

This would be a good start when you have some free time I think
Just paste your sentences in the same order and leave an empty line if you don't know/don't want/aren't sure about the answer
I will take care of it later
Thanks

By the way, I meant "poorly translated" Grin

I didn't think about translating to other languages, is it really useful as bitcointalk is in english?

Well, there are a whole lot of active "Local" forums...
I'm talking about the bitcointalk interface
No problem for me if you want translations

Great, I always prefer when someone else confirms it works!

Also, if you see spelling or grammatical or vocabulary mistakes I'd be very happy to correct them
I know how unprofessional something can look when bad translated
Will do. If you want translated versions I can provide a German and Dutch translation if you give me a list with all the strings.

just updated to 0.1.18, keeps showing me out of date while no new update found, using firefox+greasemonkey
It should refresh every 5 pages loaded or so
But it doesn't, I just tried
Thanks for reporting that

The problem was server-side, it's solved now
The * should disappear once you load about 5 more pages, it works for me

I don't know if this has been covered or not yet, but I don't remember it...

Are settings stored locally?  I'm assuming so, because I use a few different computers and it seems like it's not carrying over.  Just want to double check.
I don't think I ever said it, yes they are stored locally.

In version 0.1.16:

Well I have the chrome version, so it should auto-update right?

Btw. it would be a good idea to display the version of the plugin at the BT++ Settings page.
Yes, but the auto-update time is several hours on Chrome
Adding it right now
Still good enough. It means that I don't have to worry about that ;p

Ok, I finished coding

I only see:
"Source for Bitcoin price (default=mtgox)"

that's really strange. did you upgrade the script recently (today) ?
Nope, 2 days ago. Will download the newest version in a bit.
UPDATED. Works now.

I'm coding, I don't have the time to post long answers
When in doubt, look at the OP, I try to keep it updated
As for this specific matter, the settings link has been moved and the OP contains a screenshot
The new update looks great! But what is "Format of note display (note/pctnote/pctplus) (default=note)"?
Try!
note is +2/4
pctnote is +50% (= score/total votes)
pctplus is +75% (= number of +1 votes/total votes)

I think Chrome users will appreciate this: http://jackjack.alwaysdata.net/btoplusone/btpp_0.1.15.crx
This crx includes auto-updates, which get the source directly from userscripts.org
Ah I see. Very handy!
