Suggestion: spoiler tags.

I was thinking that to, but what if someone without the script sees the tags, unintended bu the OP because they use the script?

Here is my bitcoin talk karma chrome extension based off of the greasemonkey script jackjack wrote, I will try to keep it updated. If you have an issue, open a ticket on github, instead of cluttering this thread up. If it becomes popular I will start my own thread.

That was something I wanted your thoughts about.
I do have the full list of votes. For now I'm the only one having access to it.
So here are the possibilities:
  • I make everything public
  • One can see who voted for him and who he voted for
  • Nothing public just like now

I would be happy with the first solution. And if it's too much of a hassle, an alternative showing on each post:

- the total number of votes broadcasted by this account
- the total number of votes received by this account

would be a very nice workaround, for me.

Just because someone having a 2 rating with 300 votes is a bit different than someone having a 2 rating with 2 votes. Smiley

Also, what are your thoughts about a scammer tags system? Just like the regular one.
The system could be different though.
I just want to gather opinions for now, nothing is decided.
Hmm, dunno. I think it's not necessary. A "-10" next to someone's name is clear enough for me.

EDIT: The
is because I used the Partical Quote button.

I'll change that by returning only ASCII from the server and formatting/deleting <>s within the script
I didn't find anything in greasemonkey that checks SSL certs so I can't use them for now, I'd prefer though so I'll continue to search for it
I don't think that the current low number of people using this script would interest anybody anyway

You just add https. Your browser checks the cert for you.

An attacker vector is an attack vector, there's no reason to not fix them, and one can be use to chain another.

And yeah, installing .js scripts aren't accepted instantly. You really need to drag it into the extension-tab.
I know but sadly I can't do anything about this. All I know is that Tampermonkey avoids this.

Please people give me your thoughts about this:

Btw. you should tell what the current setting is of something in "BT++ settings". Would be a lot easier and more clear, if you ask me.
Indeed, done.

EDIT: Oh, auto-update would be useful for Chrome users. I have to re-download and re-install it everytime you update it.
I know it autoupdates on Firefox but I'm not sure it's even possible on Chrome. Looks like Google doesn't really like when people install something coming from something else than its store...
Also I'm leaving soon for around a week so I can't look at that now. I keep that in mind though.
Current setting looks great. Thanks.

EDIT: Someone gave me a +1 :O Can I see who gave me that, so I can ask that person why? Didn't posted anything "good" recently.

  • Nothing public just like now

I would say the second option. Everything public is a bit to much I guess.
Going to enable newline right now.
EDIT: Done, much better.

It looks great, but I dont see the point of having it.
If you have over 1000 pm's you will might need it Tongue
I always clean my inbox, so that will never happen Tongue
Why do you delete them? I sometimes need to read them again, don't you?
I'm still far from TF's amount but even with 320PMs it's really annoying to search through them. Moreover when you realize there's no search function for PMs...
Well, I only delete them when I don't need them anymore. Also, I am not that interesting in the Bitcointalk community, so I mostly get PM's which I can delete after I read them ;p
That explains a lot!

Oh, btw. I don't think this should happen:

Name too long + screen too small Grin
You can go to the settings and enable a newline after the username
