Ah, I see. Cheers. That got that working, but the client is still at the same block (3 days ago, when using the bootstrap). I'll give it a bit.

Nice to see about 44 connections, though. That's pretty cool.
Still on 351580?

Yep:

Code:
20:30:49

getblockcount

20:30:49

351580

It's strange. I obviously have the right boostrap files for it to skip 1.5 years of the chain and the github boostrap is about 3 days old, so that matches too.

I'm on a recent wallet build (windows 64), too:

http://www.bitcredit.work/downloads/

SPV anywhere?
delete everything, wallet.dat to! sync, copy back old wallet.dat. worked for me

edit: reconsiderblock (hash from block 351579.351580 and 351581)

Seem to be passed the blockage.

> run QT client
> Quit client
> %appdata%
> go to Bitcredit folder
> delete everything (back-up wallet.dat if it contains any funds)
> download and unzip bootstrap files https://github.com/bitcreditscc/bootstrap
> move unzipped files into main bitcredit folder
> Run QT client from Win 64 files found on http://www.bitcredit.work/downloads/

That's it.

All my BNs are crashing.
Followed your instruction, got it synced and started BN, after few hours they all crashed again.
Is this a windows related issue??
Will be moving over to the long planned ubuntu box anyway.

I was never able to activate coin control on my win setups either, asuming some local machine issues..

The growth of peer-to-peer lending is truly at an early and explosive point:

The US, China and UK are at the forefront of this new way of lending. That means the rest of the world is there for the taking by a player with global infrastructure.

What is particularly interesting about this is the R3 approach. BCR could actually make just as much money by being the infrastructure that peer-to-peer lenders could use to access markets around the world without having to invest in serious infrastructure in each market.

So what's the trick to move past week 11 on the blockchain?

You can skip all that :- https://github.com/bitcreditscc/bootstrap

Lol.

Been at this for a few days now.
See what's your blockheight.
Go to chainz and get the hash for that height.
Go to bcr console and type reconsider block
Could be corrupt bids. Which can happen if you've restarted the bcr-qt
Go to app data and delete everything except wallet.Dat and move the unzipped bootstrap in and try again.

Quote from: tried it
See what's your blockheight.

The first attempt that stopped progress was at block:  289857

Now, with the bootstrap, progress has stooped at block: 351580

Quote
Go to chainz and get the hash for that height

You can get the blockheight from the client console. for 351580 its:

00061f19b0f3be3d36de0fdfc7ed43ae9d440e2da4e8f973fd515588806539ef

Quote
Go to bcr console and type reconsider block

'Reconsider' isn't one of the console commands

Quote
Go to app data and delete everything except wallet.Dat and move the unzipped bootstrap in and try again.

Did that. The bootstrap loads up to the last few days, but gets stuck at block 351580

yea nearly 2500 views and you still the only one posting lol it says something

Coins101 is pretty hard to keep up with...   Cheesy

In terms of financial services, I've done most of this all before - its actually like riding a bike. Worked out super great the last time  Wink

We got to an understanding with our devs back then.  We packed them off to a business park just outside of Southampton and left them to it.  All they had to do was deliver the outcomes we all agreed in terms of end user experience and regulatory requirements.

So, all we need to do is agree the deliverables on all sides and then just get on and deliver them.

LTC,  your android app is not sourcing DASH data.

The MyCrypto one ?

Ah yes, somebody elbereth has changed their backend installed an SSL cert that doesn't match his domain name(s) without telling me about it, the swines. Will address as soon as I remember how to use Google Studio...

Have changed it to felch from http://explorer.dash.org instead. Will publish an update as soon as I remember how to do that...

@ coins101

I think we should properly document all this. That way , during design, i can keep it in mind and refer back to it

Don't worry, I'll compile this into a single post on a new thread, for future reference. Just doing some research first and keeping it here for now.

2,500 views in under a week is why I don't like slack for much more than dev work and secret work before it becomes public.
