Did you tried first to use bootstrap on clean/new empty wallet and the after full syncing, close and replace wallet.dat, sometimes when wallet crashes after opening/closing it's recommended to check windows processes manager if some related process is still pending and if waiting doesn't help for some time then this process should be terminated.

Your screenshot looks like wallet is still loading, it's noraml my looks the same for maybe 1 minute when using SSD drive, after wallet is synced all coins should be on it's place and wallet transaction window will look normal.

Coin control should be first enabled in Options / Wallet (tab) / Enable coin control features and then available in Send / Receive (tab) / Coin Control Features / Inputs ... (button)

It can take some time before it appear after pressing , more transaction/wallet loading = longer waiting

I heard some horrible stories about corrupted wallet.dat, most of them is related with copying wallet.dat file when wallet is still open/hung/crashed/anyway not fully closed or when wallet.dat is moved many times between different versions new/old/then new again ...

I only hope you have a backup of wallet.dat somewhere, it a must, one or two times it saved my ass.

If my Win setup is doing some strange things, first thing I do is to execute checkdisk on system partition, cmd then c: and   chkdsk /f , restart system, it resolves a lot of weird behaviours after not proper system close/crashes/power failures.

I will try and import everything on a laptop that I have never used at all for anything related to Crypto and see what might happen.

Thanks for the suggestions.

As of now I have and will not even attempt to open my other two basenodes until this one is solved. I do not want to lose any more coins in those two like I have with this one.

You can see in the picture that something happened to my wallet from July and never went further than that when whatever happened, happened. Yes I did send all my coins to BitTrex at that time to send them back to myself as one transaction for 50,000 to start the banknode. I could not find coin control in the wallet at that time to send to myself.

Any ideas to get the coins back I am willing to listen. I tried the wallet.dats in the backup folder but none worked.

Allow me to first make one thing very clear for all users. Loss of coins is a user error, not developer. I do not have access to your private keys ergo you control your own funds. Now, if the coins are in an address whose private keys you own, then they will appear if you bootstrap or manage to sync completely (or at least up to your last tx)

There are now ~ 100 active BNs on both linux and windows. Starting the wallet as per instructions should yield positive results.

I think i have mentioned several times now that syncing from start for a BN has become a long process due to the addition of another database for services. Which is why the recommended option until further notice is bootstrapping.

Coin control is activated in options and available under the send tab.

I have never said me losing coins was a developer fault but to say there was not an issue with the last 4 or 5 wallet releases on Windows is an understatement. Ever since the 0.30.17.6 until now has been issues, on Windows. Wallets would not open with out deleting everything in appdata, force closing and other issues is not in my control. I was not the only person bringing this up in the past.

I know not backing up the wallet is my fault. If I lost all the coins on this BN it is my fault.

Back to post again after kinda rage quitting. Smiley

First thing though, the new window wallet loads fine and does not freeze like the last few. Awesome.

To my second point. Deleted everything but back up, config and wallet.dat. Almost 12 hours and still syncing with 41 weeks to go. I know I can bootstrap it to get done quicker but I did that and it worked but my bank node, sorry base node, only showed 6 coins now. I want to completely sync it to see what happens. Not sure why it takes so long to sync.

I know it seems like I am always complaining but I am trying to help with issues that I have with the wallet. Since windows is the biggest platform it should be working as it is in Linux if the adoption of this coin is going to increase.

I am new to Bitcredit and installed the wallet. Synchronzing stops again and again. Syncing is very slow overall. Some ideas how to fix it?
Broken codebase.

how about your developer never got enough member status to post an image.
or hey your explorers offline, and all the pools in the 8bit OP are offline. get the fuck out of here.

You should talk to dev - https://bitcointalksearch.org/user/8bitproject-506722

1. 8-bit-party you aren't the dev of bitcredit so you can't tell that this thread isn't longer supported because you have zero connection to the dev team, and you already got 2 red trust that maybe will increase with other red trust from the other members
2. You know (@8-bit-party) that because isn't moderated the ones that knows the truth about all this mess will only speak about why you're doing such an abuse?

Use the bootstrap here https://bitcointalksearch.org/topic/m.13234040

It might get stuck a couple of times while syncing. For that just look at the block it got stuck at and get its hash, restart the wallet and immediately go to the console and type 'reconsiderblock pastehashherexxxxxxxxx and let it do its thing. Theres two blocks that gave me problems and had to do the reconsiderblock for those two..... after that you'll have no issues.

if it stop syncing @(blocknumber) go to https://chainz.cryptoid.info/bcr/ and search for the next block,

copy the hash, type in consol: reconsiderblock (put in hash) if it dont start syncing after a few minutes, close the client. open it and do reconsiderblock one more time, dunno why it stops but @bitreditscc are working on it i guess

Nice sexy miner console there!

@Bitcreditscc

Is the GUI node control is gone now? So lazy, was waiting for a way to edit the IP on my nodes to put them online instead of doing all the manual stuff ..... Gone for ever?

NIce, the darksend material is going to require time for me to safely remove it all.

Confirming windows now pays out bidders properly (took a few minutes to get it updated worked fine after)

Great, let's keep those bug reports coming so we resolve everything. More BNs online since the network stabilized, now even more reason to bring the Services GUI into beta testing.
Things noted:
--I get very few peer connections, my nodes and main wallet are hovering around 1-2 connections. previously i was used to 5-8. no trouble staying synced, just fewer connections with same settings.
--windows users who did not have the right bidtracker, it will take 5-10 minutes to create a proper one, durring this time your solved blocks are worth 38BCR instead of 3.8BCR In the future with more miners this will not matter.
--basenode manager in debug console area has been replaced with a consolidated tab containing mining & vanitygen start/stop/settings/results. Someone will need to write up for everyone how to start cold basenodes or reconfigure if they had used this setup utility to manage their basenodes. I did, but since my cold nodes are on the same machine I just imported the private key for their address into each cold basenode making it "hot" and starting it as I always did before using the setup utility
--before bidtracker was synced I recieved debug messages about :
Code:
2015-12-22 14:38:27 SMSG Misbehave reason == error .
2015-12-22 14:38:27 Message payload does not match got  128, expected 356 .
this seems to be fine since bidtracker data is current
--running with debug flag I see lots of random errors about these 2 repeated over and over:
Code:
2015-12-22 16:57:56 CDarksendPool::DoAutomaticDenominating - Darksend is disabled
Code:
2015-12-22 16:57:55 SecureMsgReceiveData() 73.247.97.18:9985 dseep.
2015-12-22 16:57:55 Unknown command "dseep" from peer=1
