you can't force wallet update and not inform exchange... if they decide not to update, i just need to mine on whatever wallet/chain they are on....

If you have a problem, maybe it's best you ask politely. Your assumptions are so way off base it's nearly funny. I long spoke with a bittrex rep, so your tirade is rather meaningless.

The market is disabled for sending and receiving, has been for a while, pray tell how you intend to mine and get around that? Unprofessional? Wow.

WHY NO ONE UPDATING BITTREX???
i can't transfer, so can't mine...
the old chain was dumped out before it was updated... i am guessing half of the coins on bittrex are from other (split) chain, AND NOT EXIST ON your CHAIN...
if the exchange can't sell, or buy on right chain... THEN WHERE IS REAL VALUE???

I like the idea of redesigning the Qt. Good points given! Perhaps something like a statistics bar the SPR (SpreadCoin) wallet has? (Very small picture: http://spreadcoin.info/pics/new_wallet_01.jpg)

And what about combining the 'connections' and 'progress' information into the wallet instead of having them float next to the wallet. Why is that done anyway, that's just weird! Tongue

look at the last 3 weeks, 2 hardforks. anyone invested in this project is paying close attention because things are changing and people are required to make changes frequently. though hopefully that will settle down soon.

I understand people's frustration, it's got me too. Already we've resolved that updates should be less frequent and are set to test the effectiveness of our voting system on that.

Truth about development is like iron, strike it while it's hot. If new developments and ideas come to a halt, the project will die a miserable death.

We are aware but in order to smooth out the roll out process, I have slotted that for future updates.

I am going to start doing things a lot more professionally and one of those changes is going to be how we do updates. I am thinking we should pick a single day, either per week or per month when updates are issued.

Yeah, and we should figure out this vote thing. I'd gladly vote in Thelonecruton and dragos_bdi for their debugging & win wallet creation skills. If you did have a date set hopefully all platforms would be ready in advance so you could just update the main links.

bidtracker would have failed to retrieve data from an api

BNs stil are working, so is it normal or some problem, if bidtracker uses standard rpc/default ports then I guess there's no need to open some additional ?

About updates, did you looked at dashman https://github.com/moocowmoo/dashman , which I had mentioned previously , some modification of it could be useful ?

Status info from the last screenshot looks really great.

I do want to bring in more people but ones i studied seemed full of trolls and get rich quick characters, not at all suited to the way we do things here. The offer is still open but most of them will hold till it completely dies, hoping and wishing for a pump on their abandoned projects. Taking people that desperate for quick profit may end up being a total disaster. Getting them to abandon ship will be tough for you. You can start a vote on the issue.

After weeks of no connection I finally got this one synced: Bitcredit Core version v0.30.17.5-5c2b15d-dirty (64-bit)

Will update again.

we've worked through the majority of the bugs we could identify, this should be the last update in a while. most of the lastes updates sis not affect consensus, but rather wallet functionality.

if you close current wallet and just use new one , it should pick up from there with no problem.

We already split up ...
chainz is on old 70012 version
The other chain goes up from where i left it ...
