EtherGem is no longer listed on the exchange.
Honestly this could have been handled better if it was an legit exchange.
Simply approve the developers of the coins first through the KYC process.

Scammers will be scammers! No matter how many minions come here to write lies!

To all coin project owners, admins, and developers.

Report these scammers to the Singaporean Police Authority.

I have already done it.

Open this page and click on the link "IWitness" below.

https://www.police.gov.sg/iwitness

Then enter your info & evidence on this scam. Put the correspondence (emails) you had with these scammers.

You will then receive a "case number". Keep it for further reference and communication with the authorities.

You can also contact the police via phone/email.

Guys, the exchange looks very natural, every day news and adding new coins, it does not look like cheating.

You are right, the coin listing goes through every day, this is an extremely positive factor.

This is an extremely suspicious factor. No major exchange adds coins without analysis, and they add all in a row just to get 0.1BTC.
And how do you explain the fact that the exchange server is in the US,and the domain(BiteBTC)) was bought in the US?Singapore is a US state?

Live coin watch also lists this scam of an exchange.

https://www.livecoinwatch.com/exchanges/BiteBTC

Shame on all of them.
coinmarketcap and livecoinwatch recognize the BiteBTC exchange and cooperate with it. This is what it says, and I don't expect they would have dealt with scammers.

Even worse is that well-known sites like CoinMarketCap still present those SCAMS as if they were real exchanges.

I fully trust the CoinMarketCap platform, they do business only with proven exchanges and projects.

Well, because Bitconneckt was listed where? Even coincodex had that flagged as a scam...

Just saying they may not do as much due diligence on the coins and exchanges as you would think. CMC uses valume and probably a fee to get listed and if BiteBTC is falsifying volume (which they are) they would not know it and may have accepted a fee to list.

Not one person is ever approved, and there is no BiteBTC egem wallet, so CMC should remove BiteBTC.

BiteBTC is a scam. Not a real exchange.

I always feel uncomfortable with KYC for regular crypto to crypto exchanges. I mean, is it really necessary for small amounts if you want to get some altcoin. Identity theft is a real problem.

LOL!

We should simply keep on repeating this fact:

Not a single person ever got approved!
Not a single person claiming to have a validated account could ever post a proof (screenshot or similar).

BiteBTC is a scam!
