Same request for you, bitfunder:

Any chance you can find time to code this simple feature: Issuers own Bid and Ask orders are highlighted so they are clearly visible to everyone.
I have asked this like 3 or 4 times (even when GLBSE was around) Smiley
Lets make it even better. if issuer buys back shares, those trades are marked in the trade history.

Why, read about the ActiveMining fiasco, where "new walls are going up" (by issuer)  but no idea when and where.
Ken would just use a different account for his share-shifting shenanigans.

You can not "shift" shares just like that form Issuer account to account Whatever. Number of outstanding shares will change.
If he sells from third party account, there is nothing you can do but the number of outstanding shares will remain unchanged.

While IPO is in progress, any share transfer without payment must be also reported.

The list must be associated with a hash for it that includes time and date (Made by) bitfunder website not by a random backup person.

I have been saying that for a while now -_-!

If the site gets closed down, this list will be the first to disappear.
We need a separate storage for it. Can someone write a script and store a daily copy?
This way, we will be able to claim ownership of our purchased stocks from the upstream companies in question. (we'll lose all the BTC there, but not the stocks)

So far I did:
curl https://bitfunder.com/assetlist > ~/Dropbox/bitfunder-assetlist-$(date +"%F").html

But if you have better solutions, please make them public. My solution is too basic.

Alternative: Use Colored BitcoinX to download stock shares to our computers and store offline, like Bitcoins. We'll need to ask Bitfunder about it.

very much appreciated. thanks

It seems the assets list contains invalid bitcoin addresses and links to blockchain.info.
There should be some check on the settings page to force a valid bitcoin address.

And how about converting the list to ascii and sign/timestamp it with pgp/gpg?
So individual backups can be verified to be valid and current in time.

Hello !

Does anyone makes a daily back-up of all assets traded there?
This is very needed if the exchange gets closed.
I wanna be able to claim ownership of my shares.

On bitfunder it has an "asset List" page that shows this by bitcoin address

I just tried to log onto bitfunder and it turns out I had my caps lock on, and now it is telling me to try again later. I was wondering just how much later that is? Thanks in advance

Edit - back in now

How come weexchange does not include transaction fee for withdrawals? When I withdraw with 0 transaction fee my transaction takes forever to make its way into the blockchain.

Due to the defaults and the inner workings of bitcoind not allowing an easy way to set a per-transfer tx fee (Last I looked) is the reason why.
We have been working on a new bitcoin setup with additional security added in that will allow users to choose a fee to pay (or none).
This will be available with the new weexchange site.

Hi Jose,

This issue has already been resolved. Smiley

As for time, we are working towards localization.

Thanks!
Ukyo

Today I've been getting "Error: An invalid or duplicated request has been submitted." about a third of the time trying to make valid buy/sell orders (that have enough shares or BTC to cover them). Often happens if make the buy/sell order after cancelling a previous one.

Yes, this has happened to me constantly. After I cancel an order, I have to reload a fresh page in Chrome, then I will be able to post another order. Some bug here.

Also, I have requested that server time be posted somewhere on the top of the page, or users are given an option to set times to display in their local timezones...

hopefully these suggestions help =)
