Hi there,
I found myself stuck in the GA setup in weexchange. profile->security->2 factor->scan GA QR-> update security..............nothing happens.
There should be a box for input GA code after the account is generated on phone app. But I couldn't find anything.
Could someone shed a light?

Hello,

I see that some assets have a different price on BitFunder and BTCT.CO.
I wonder if I can buy some assets on BitFunder, move them to BTCT.CO
and sell them on BTCT.CO (arbitrage)

I also wonder how to query BitFunder API (using WebSocket)

Kind regards

Arb can only exist in an environment of inconvenience. If it was easy everyone would it and it would cease to exist.

imo pulling/\GOLD equity off btct.co prolly in response to moose feds request-"reboot"-BTCitcoin...thanks Grin

You fail to see my point. I'm not saying arb doesn't exist. I'm saying that it if you make it convenient/easy/fast it cannot exist as a service of value and therefore the arb opportunities will all but vanish.

Don't you see how your idea totally defeats many of the purposes of having more than one exchange at all ?

Arbitrage adds liquidity to markets.
it helps markets to become efficient.

BitFunder, BTC.TC, Litecoin Global ... should share a list of assets and their belongship into a kind of blockchain.

see
http://erratasec.blogspot.fr/2013/05/bitcoin-is-public-ledger.html
http://www.proofofexistence.com/

so it could help to move assets (shares, bonds, ...) from a place to an other one

This academic paper is interesting:

Jeremy Clark and Aleksander Essex. CommitCoin: Commitments with Temporal Dispute Resolution using Bitcoin (Short Paper). Proceedings of the 16th Conference on Financial Cryptography and Data Security (FC 2012), 2012.

Is it possible to do this? Could I move ASICMiner shares from one to the other?

It's theoretically possible, and impossible in practice.

I bought over 250 shares of Asicminer on bitfunder and requested transfer from DeadTerra.  A month later he hadn't responded to either PMs or posts in his thread.

You can lose a lot of money in that time frame.

Hmm, that seems rather strange without any response.

I can confirm that the actual end date and time is 2013-07-26 12:50:05.

This is definitely a display bug and I will get it corrected for you.

Thanks for pointing this out!

Please don't forget this! Smiley Expiry dates keep changing randomly in both screens for multiple purchased options. If have before & after screenshots for a different option I could PM you if it helps. Thanks.

imhfo that must be part of the new features being brought online by in now yo before it too late..thanks

Why does RentalStarter show up at the top of the Market page when it has less volume than G.ASICMINER-PT and AMC?

Ukyo: there seems to be a pretty bad bug with the website. If you place an order (buy or sell) in the order book while on the "buy/sell shares" tab of any security, and then hit refresh in your browser, it will attempt to send through the order again. Obviously, if someone does this and doesn't notice, it can have bad consequences for them.

Also, the balance does not auto update after you buy or sell. I have to refresh the whole page again, to display/use my correct balance.

This is real simple to fix:

header("Location: " . apache_getenv("HTTP_HOST") . apache_getenv("REQUEST_URI"));
