it has the second most submitted shares for me right now.. second to mtred.. trying to penalize mtred so it goes to deepbit more but deepbit is so freaken fast..

you do have some deepbit shares submitted though right?

are you using default or old default or the slice scheduler

I'm on olddefault..

Mine's a bit weird with Deepbit.   It rarely switches over to it.

deepbit is a bit too fast.. i might need to start with penalty of 10 and work my way back down to 1 for deepbit.

OldDefault selects the pool with the least shares

When i use old default i like to use the penalty system.. I set my slowest pools at 2.. medium pools 1.25-1.75 and fast pools at 1.. works well for me so far.

Ah, that sounds like a good strategy

bitHopper has only switched to deepbit once in the past 4 hours and never switched to it again. Using latest version.

try disabling bitcoinmonkey and rfcpool, it worked for me

edit: I run it with c00w's DefaultScheduler
Code:
bitHopper.py --startLP --debug

Whats the difference between OldDefaultScheduler and DefaultScheduler?

OldDefault doesn't do any time slicing.

So, I know I asked this before but still confused...what do I put on that editable payout line? what payout exactly? Do I keep updating it, seems like it would be a pain....

It is.

ti is a tiny  easier for people with a log of hashes and big payouts.

maybe one day we can scrap the reward data and put it in their for you.. er rather c00w can.. (lol we) but that looks like a huge job in itself.

maybe we can get teh btc-poolwatch guy to lend a hand.. as he has gotten a  good bit of that job done.

I don't think that this is actually worth the effort. I just collect payouts every week, sum them up and calculate my overall efficiency.

Quick heads up regarding Deepbit.  If DB becomes available, but you're slicing another pool, BH will continue to slice that pool until the next hop, THEN it'll switch to Deepbit.   Might be worth forcing it to drop whatever it's doing and move straight to Deepbit.  Same with Slush.

Seems to be mtred that triggers it, but here's the itzod JSON content (I might just disable that pool anyway);

{"total_speed":"59239","calc_time":285787,"total_shares_count":"4831489","difficulty":1888786.7053531,"blocks":140293}
There is an old problem. Sometimes when requesting content with the http:// protocol shield requires of anti-ddos verification, ignoring this settings:

This problem doesn't occurs with https:// protocol. Use https:// protocol, if it's possible.
