@simonk
What miner are you using? It looks like your miner is giving up to quickly and just dumping oodles of getworks on bitHopper.

And yeah it should use request.notify and exit the requests appropriately but I haven't written it yet.

Hi mate, I'm using AOCLBF at the mo.   Doesn't happen often, but often enough to be annoying, especially if I'm not around to watch the console.

@boss cat give us some versions pls (python, twisted-python and pyopenssl)

I mean that I disabled penalty. Isn't it 1 when disabled?

So, I know I asked this before but still confused...what do I put on that editable payout line? what payout exactly? Do I keep updating it, seems like it would be a pain....

It is.

ti is a tiny  easier for people with a log of hashes and big payouts.

maybe one day we can scrap the reward data and put it in their for you.. er rather c00w can.. (lol we) but that looks like a huge job in itself.

maybe we can get teh btc-poolwatch guy to lend a hand.. as he has gotten a  good bit of that job done.

Not sure if it's just me, but after my initial mine at Deepbit about an hour ago, it hasn't switched back.

In the same time frame, deepbit prop as backup gives me roughly ~5x from what i get from mtredPPS
after some more observation...it's more like ~10-15x more

@boss cat try to use a packet manager (apt-get, aptitude) if on debian architecture, compiling from source could be troublesome sometimes
I tried that but it said it was up to date already. I'm running (well the vps provider is running) debian etch which is no longer supported so the sources are no longer current.

@simonk83 you seem to have a lagging connection with mt.red , happened to me few times, try the other pool if they still have it active or give a try reseting your router

Hmm.  Is that this bit:

Code:
2011-08-10 06:51:39+1000 [HTTP11ClientProtocol,client] 'caught, Final response/w
riting'
2011-08-10 06:51:39+1000 [HTTP11ClientProtocol,client] 'Request.finish called on
a request after its connection was lost; use Request.notifyFinish to keep track
 of this.'

Is there any way to catch that (in the code)?  Like if it sees it's spamming a massive amount of getworks with no sends, it moves away?

seems so  Roll Eyes
