Exactly. They will not make a move unless they start to see empty blocks being mined or a 51% attack. Bitmain is unlikely to do either of these things because they have the common sense not to. They know that damaging the (currently) small mining community for Siacoin would only hurt Sia, and thus hurt their sales of Sia mining ASICs.
Hmmm seems like they are trying to protect obelisk(sia devs) customers.. is this not concerning?
Mention more about miners and profitability? Shilling obelisk and bias towards bitmain?

Don't confuse the hard fork of block 139000 with the soft fork to fight bitmain. The hard block will happen and make block time average be 10 mins instead of 30. Minted coins will multiply by 3, happy miners. The other one I won't go into.

EIN is a tax ID for US companies. SSN is a tax ID for US individuals. You should only enter the EIN or the SSN, but not both.

Uhhhh..... and when are these non working prototype obelisk being shipped? Who knows. I think the last thing I read was that they were hoping to ship them sometime in the first half of this year or something. I just don't want anyone wasting their money like they did on the D3 and all of the BTC ASICs from years ago that were useless before they even left the factories.

I think that fork was just to address the difficulty bug but I don't know for sure. Right now, I think the only thing you have to worry about is potentially too many A3s driving the difficulty too high to ROI, but I don't know how many of them were sold.
I will directly mine as soon as I receive it ....it's a race .. ha ha ha
