If you are tired of mining Dash you can give LitecoinX a shot. Its on 4 different mining pools.

Is it that coin that forked from Litecoin about a month ago?

I think that is LitecoinCash LCC
did it start trading on any exchange?  I don't see it on coinmarketcap.

However Samsung entry to the marketplace could lead to a lot tougher competitors for Bitmain, and reduce costs.

Or Samsung is making those chips for Bitmain...

In any case, don't expect any price reduction unless Bitcoin goes lower. Mining hardware is usually priced at what the market can bear + idiot tax. You might get lucky, e.g. I did with L3+ and didn't with D3.

Sorry for asking, any chance D3 still make any money at the moment? Or just as good as self paying heaters...
you can still earn from $50 to $100 a month, depending on the diffculty fluctuation.  I did not have a negative profit yet, but sometimes close to zero.

Clueless!
Sorry for asking, any chance D3 still make any money at the moment? Or just as good as self paying heaters...

If I remember correctly my TWO D3's made $226 last month in DASH. At 12c kWh electric, I think I paid $216.....to electric company last month

so NO WAY can a D3 (or two) float...in any way shape or manner....

probably by the end of next month, you'd not make any on these D3 units, even if someone gave one to you!

(now you are in a dorm, have free electric..maybe if one fell off a truck at your feet...otherwise NOPE)

D3 is now back in stock on Bitmain's website for $550 for March 21-31 batch.

I just noticed that on their site, like do they actually believe they can scam more people into buying these? Especially after the Blissz BIOS mod has been discontinued due to threats by trolls lol.

Tried to read through Blissz's thread to understand what happened. Care to explain? Also, what did his firmware offer more than bitmain's?

separate tuning of hashboards

Voltage tuning specifically, the D3 came out overclocked to hell and Blissz let us adjust it. He didn't want to opensource his firmware and the underlying miner code is under license, so trolls threatened to sue. I can't imagine D3's having a very long life without Blissz software.

Bitmain: Where evil pays, because Jhain Wu got bullied in his youth...(we are so screwed) (tm: bitmain)

Well, this is how it works. We who got bullied do have a massive drive to shove it to the world :/

Unfortunately this did now end well for me, but I can still hope right Cheesy

throwing salt on the wound, wd bitmain

A mess of threads are stating Bitmain is coming out with an Ethereum protocol (I forget what it is called) miner and a Decred miner

My bet is it will be after the 6/1/18 coupons expire.....then after that pre-order run (available fall likely..I've seen August) they will announce

the next gen scrypt-pow and sha-256 miners AFTER they have run them for 4 months in the summer...another pre-order while they run

difficulty up...

Bitmain: Where evil pays, because Jhain Wu got bullied in his youth...(we are so screwed) (tm: bitmain)

Again, just tossing out speculation about this...but looking pretty good on these miners though, or so the rumor mill goes
