I am trying to solo mine with my Asic too.
Using this config:
Code:
rpcuser=emdje
rpcpassword=xxxxx
rpcconnect=192.168.178.13
rpcallowip=192.168.178.21
rpcport=9266
daemon=1
server=1
listen=1
Does not seem to work.

someone any ideas?

--- I see the pool is reporting good hashrates now, so no real precedent here.

nice, i would like to attempt solo mining, never done it before. I have cgminer, what is an example of commandline that could be used for solo mining?  thanks

cgminer --scrypt -o http://localhost:9266 -O Username:password

in place of username, i put my address, correct?

Ok, back from family fun...

1) QT downloaded and working fine on my USB stick (portable stylee)

2) Mining at miningpool.co (initial stratum 'down' seems to be resolved) Fairly long term user there so simple to add to dashboard and point existing worker...

3) I'm getting block credits etc. etc.

All seems good so far...

I have scrypt asics... so my command line is a little different... my command line points to a .conf which gives the pool and everything...  kind of a pain...

Okay... The pool is now finding blocks..   Cheesy

We have found 9 so far.

Come join us at:

https://www.miningpool.co

2 Different Stratum servers available.

Those of you that have used the pool before you will need to enable Bitmark on your dashboard from the settings page.

Happy mining!

I've added Bitmark to CryptExplorer!

BTM Block Explorer:
http://cryptexplorer.com/chain/Bitmark

Cool. I guess tomorrow we can see some of the first transactions when the coins mature and are ready to be sent.

I am mining at the miningpool.co pool. But it seems that the hashrate from that pool is not reaching the network... The qt reports about 6 Mh/s hashrate, but the pool alone is reporting over 40 Mh/s. Weird.... Or is the info just lagging?

There is an issue with stratum-mining documented here: https://github.com/Crypto-Expert/stratum-mining/issues/349

It creates blocks incorrectly until the height is above 16. I had hoped this would not be a problem.

I have informed miningpool.co, and used funds from the most recent donation to hire a miner which will use getblocktemplate on bitmarkd, it is going to generate the first 16 blocks,

We are at height=7 as I write this.

After block 16, miningpool.co will work properly.

To confirm, this is a bug in stratum-mining, not bitmark or miningpool. The bug had not been spotted before because no other coins appear to use a new codebase with v2 blocks from the start.

Something wrong with the miningpool.co, no one block found, but the pool hashrate almost 70 MH/s.

Very smooth launch indeed. Let's see what future brings.
At the moment only 2 blocks found...

This is just the beginning. Wink
