pawel7777 my friend you can blame those making such assumptions since the ops have abandoned this thread without replies to several hundred of questions and complaints here for a while now, light lord the official of this business have been online a couple of times but did not reply to anyone here on this thread and that has given room to so many speculations as to whether the casino is still active or the operators is not able to effectively run it the same way he runs this thread.

And from some couple of events that happened in the past with covid -19  which is the period since this casino issues started and have not been restored till now, with the long absence of the owner during that time, this and many more gave room for all the speculations around the owner health but no one has any information about his true condition and there is no time lightlord himself announce that he is not feeling well.

So we can choose what to believe now in this situation and know how to act with the casino going forward.

As it has been said before, they're not in any way obliged to be active on this forum. The official way of getting support is by submitting a support ticket on the site, which seems to be working fine (as far as I checked).

Sure, they could've done better job in making it clear that this thread is no longer monitored (or they could've just locked it), but to draw a conclusion that the site is dead or abandoned by devs just because they're not active here is a bit of exaggeration.

Same for LL not feeling well - not sure what exactly did he say, but the site has active support and the other owner, Zodiac, is reported to be active, so I see no issues here. Unless we're concerned that LL might have passed away without leaving anyone the access to the private keys?

I want to ask and also know the reason why this particular platform has not been existing is it that they still operate in the absence of the manager who is no longer in the platform so all this is something that I want to know basically because I believe that this is the one of the oldest casinos that will have been known or seen so far

I don't know how many representatives Bitvest have on this forum aside Lightlord, whose last login to this forum was on October 07, 2022, judging by this, I think its clear he aren't watching, except maybe there are other representatives here who don't wanna reveal themselves, or maybe Lightlord have an alt account which the forum knows not, but this I highly doubt.

Personally, I comment as many that are still playing on this casino, I wouldn't dare deposit my money on any casino that used to have a rep here but suddenly disappeared without any explanation.
I think these issues with lightlord inactiveness on this thread have been discussed many times and we have already concluded that Bitvest has no representative in this forum and at that, we should not expect any form of response if there are any issues on the casino.

-That is the reason why we always warn players to make sure there is updated information on the activeness of the site before making any deposits.
This shows how important is to have not only an ANN thread on the forum but someone which watches over it and tries to do their best to resolve the inquires and complains of the customers of that casino, as in that way our issues are given more attention and they are resolved promptly, it is sad to see the state of bitvest, I was part of their signature campaign for years and I have fond memories of it, but it seems that since then the casino has lost its essence.
It is not a surprise though, for not every business will last for ever, a time will come when some will fold up, so that some other newer ones will take over, most especially, a business that seems to be managed by few persons or even one man, there is no way we expect such a business to go on for a very long time..

For example, anyone could easily assume that the son should take over the father's business when the father passes away, but we all know that sometimes, fathers business does not interest son, most especially,. If the business is small.. So when father passes away or start having some health challenges, the business also starts having challenges until finally, its gone.

We know Lightlord as the owner of bitvest and I don't think he made provisions that will keep bitvest going even when he's no more capable of running it, if he had, I believe this casino will still be doing fine today, even without him around.

Looking at the level of speculation in this thread I'm not at all surprised that the admins prefer to stay away from bitcointalk  Grin

Reading through the comments one could get the impression that the site is dead and only run by some elderly guy with multiple terminal illnesses, that the site is long abandoned by all the players/investors, and that there's no activity or customer service at all.
That's a massive exaggeration, the activity seems stable (see my post above), and customer service tickets generally get responded to, not sure about LL, but the co-owner, Zodiac, is reportedly active on the site's chat.
Let's not make up doom-and-gloom scenarios just become they're no longer active on bitcointalk.

Or he could be sick, like something serious and maybe he is fighting that and meanwhile doesn't want to take care of here either. All these possibilities are probable and I think that we can easily say that if we want to leave and not gamble here, LL doesn't mind, so it's not really a big deal.
I don't think Lightlord is down with any sickness since that has not been reported here anytime in the past, but I know age is no longer on Lightlord's side and at that he may not be able to afford to be online all the time, but I know he is fine because his account has been active a couple of time after covid before he went inactive this time.

*The best decision we could make right now in this situation is to avoid the site for now unless things change in the future,  if not we just have to find better alternatives to Bitvest and its sisters' company owned and operated by the same light lord.

I think it wasn't really just about people leaving. It is also about why people left, because LL decided not to run this anymore and decided to focus on his life. Which isn't a bad idea, like this is a casino after all and it's a business and if the business doesn't bring in enough money, or even if it brings in enough money, sometimes you may want to just leave.

Or he could be sick, like something serious and maybe he is fighting that and meanwhile doesn't want to take care of here neither. All these possibilities are probable and I think that we can easily say that if we want to leave and not gamble here, LL doesn't mind, so it's not really a big deal.
Then what happens to communication?
If LL decided he doesn't want to run this anymore and wants to go after something else, for the sake of his reputation, he could easily communicate that to those who have trusted him for years and sticking with Bitvest even there were better casinos around.

Or maybe he is really sick like you said, still, and  again, what happens to communication?
If the discuss is so bad that he can not type, he could tell a friend, or family member to communicate the situation of he's into, to the forum users, after all, it's his business we talking about here,

Before the customer lost interest in the casino a lot have indeed gone wrong with the management of this company, and the owner may have seen that he could no longer meet up with the demands but instead of employing more hands he decided to just exit, and becoming incommunicado and not any form of contact with the community, thos development disconnected the casino from it loyal customers who found a better alternative in other more active platforms around instead staying with a company that does not value your loyalty or neglect your issues.

We dont even know if they would really be having that active responses or support team on their site or platform.

It's fair to assume that if there were any serious, constant issues i.e. with people being unable to withdraw - we would see a lot of complaints in this thread or in scam accusations topics. That's just how it works, if you feel treated unfairly (or scammed) and have no luck getting help from the site's support, you'd almost certainly go wherever you can to vent out and leave a negative review/feedback

I think it wasn't really just about people leaving. It is also about why people left, because LL decided not to run this anymore and decided to focus on his life. Why would you think that site is losing its player base and/or activity exactly?

Looking at the stats from https://dicesites.com/bitvest it looks like the number of bets is fairly stable compared to previous years:

I think the number of bets is a better metric of activity than say the daily amount of bitcoins wagered, as the latter is way more affected by bitcoin's price.

I don't think Bitvest care about the community because if there do, they would have been more active and not exited the forum and abandon the ANN thread to become a spam mega thread such that it has turned out to be.

-One of the things I have noticed about most big casinos is that, whenever they build bog community base and have gained traffic, they tend to neglect the most important which is to sustain their community.

I wouldn't equate the level of community-care with activity on this forum. The best metric on whether they care or not is whether the customer service is responsive and whether players' issues are resolved in timely manner.
They're in no way obliged to be active on any particular forum or social media platform, it's entirely their choice.
This thread keeps bumping itself pretty nicely without any official BitVest representative's involvement, so they got that part of the marketing right  Grin
You do really have the point. Making discussion would just simply bump off their ANN thread (Opps i did it again  Kiss). Its true that its not their obligation whether they would choose to be active or not.
We dont have the rights  on claiming out that they should be active. We dont even know if they would really be having that active responses or support team on their site or platform.
Thing here is that we dont see complaints and issues even if they are still operating in silent. There's no way we could be able to know on what they are up to.
As long they are operational then thats do shows that they are fine.
But then, a serious business should connect to the customers on a regular basis, if they are not active, how then do they plan to expand the business and maybe win more customers over, as I believe that having more and more customers is what every business strive for, including casino.

There are probably no scam accusation, or users posting issues against this casino, simply because there are just but a very few persons playing there, and obviously, they already know their way around the casino, so we shouldn't judge by this.
Not that regular basis but it would be good on that way but for a business then 2-3 responses a week would do and not just getting that one response for the entire year.  Wink Gambling business like this
shouldn't really be handled on this way but we know that they might be focusing into other medium when it comes to marketing but it seems that they arent doing that either. This is why it is really that
important or crucial for a business to be like this way but we are seeing the opposite but well its their business to be ran on and its not ours, if they do really like on having this
way then so be it.

Saturday night and people waiting 12 hours for withdrawals because hot wallets are empty. At least this time they let a mod come on and say they were coming briefly 5 hours ago. Don't know how anyone deposits there.
are you one of those who waits for 12 hours? because you seem to be not trusting the site yet here you are posting here?
but this is a common problem about this site for years now and this is also the reason why they lose their popularity here because either Hot wallet and not paying their advertiser in time.
with all of those? being a gambling site that of course about money? this made them not to be trusted any more and may have also lose their interest in this business or at least in this forum.

Seems like they have financial problems and their casino operation has been affected to much with this problem. They are been criticized by their late withdrawals before and it seems they didn't learn a lesson from the past and this is what make them untrusted casino. If lightlord could just fix this problem for sure there are people will still trust them up since somehow they earned a good reputation before.
actually it is more on less of activity and participation here in forum and dealing with their players , I hate seeing issues thrown here  in the past because I use to be a player of this former very reputable casino , but nowadays without their good bringing here?
i guess it is the time that I will lose my trust and time playing here and also to their sister company  777coin.
but still hoping that one day lightlord will show up here and will clean all the mess and return to good business running here.
it was this lack of customers and little activity that caused a casino to suffer such a decline in reputation after something like a very slow withdrawal caused a customer to become irritated and leave the casino.
these two casinos that you mentioned, are the oldest casinos that have been popular in the past and are still around today even though the casino representative is no longer active and I am a BitVest.io customer who is a bit disappointed with this problem.
but however I still have a little bit of faith if the @lightlord casino representative starts to be active and fix all this, I'm sure old customers will come back again.

For sure they care about their community they somehow had a good run before and were backed with some marketing stints, but now they are totally fading. Maybe they are not earning any good amount of money to pay up people to market them and also to fill their hot wallets from time to time. Provably this is one of the reasons why they abandon this thread because they lose the interest of the people and they don't want to see constant criticism once errors happen again in their casino.
I am aware of their long-run promotion and activeness here before covid-19 luck down, this casino and its sister company used to be popular among forum users then and according to the information I read on their thread, their signature campaign was one of the best and longest campaigns.

-This development has helped the company to build good visibility for itself and this is why the team are now reluctant to remote or be active because they feel, there already have the needed clients that will sustain the company.

This issue is still happening from time to time as far as I can see and I think this issue cant be fixed permanently. As we all know Lightlord is managing his casino almost himself, Zodiac may help him but I dont think Zodiac is responsible for the hot wallet. Means that anytime the hot wallet is getting empty, Lightlord is the only one who can refill it. This can be a big issue if the hot wallet is empty and Lightlord is having no time due to some real life issues like his health long time ago.

The entire concept of having hot/cold wallets is to not hold too much of the funds in the hot wallets, as they're deemed more risky. Which means they may be running out of funds whenever there are more withdrawals than deposits, for whatever reasons. So it all boils down on whether the level of funds is properly monitored and whether site admins are fast to refill hot wallets if needed to.

Someone reported here that Zodiac is/was active in the BitVest chat, if so, that's a bit comforting knowing the site has more than one active admin.

I thought lightlord has fixed the issue about their hot wallet running out of funds, from what you've said it seems like this has happened multiple times now after he said he'd fix this issue last year.
Him and his team did.

But whenever it's already empty, that means that they haven't refilled it yet and it may take time again until it's going to get noticed. But is there someone who gambles here that has got a stuck confirmation aside from deklitt?

The problem might just appear again and again and the cycle will just go on. While this thread seems already abandoned and no rep from them comes by to reply but maybe they're watching it.
it is very unfortunate if bitvest has to continue to lose their customers because of problem after problem that all of their customers continue to get

but that's definitely what happened, even though lightlord has been inactive for a long time but the team from bitvest is definitely still monitoring this topic, I don't know how long they will return to responding to all customer complaints that comment on this ANN thread bitvest topic
but now I don't even think that this platform would have been into existence again because it has been over a year the platform stop functioning in the forum will also make people who patronizing the platformam attention knowing that it is not functionable any longer
