You know what, I drafted up a refund email but like, F it. I'm riding this ship to the ground. I only have one X1 ordered and I've basically already written off the cost of it.

I'm pretty damn furious about the delays but nuts to this. I want to see how this ship runs aground.

Just imagine if they give some kind of crazy compensation plan? (I can dream right.)

Bitmain just dropped their bomb today... and the price is only going down with them. The S3 is a long term investment too. BA has to do something... or they are just going to be making equipment for them to mine themselves.

I don't think they care about you as much as you think they do.

better everyday ♥
My letter to MS has been drafted, need some concrete information soon or off it goes.

better send the letter and get your $$ back, BA still does not disclose their compensation plan wich means it will be crap just like their lack of information given about production..
do you realy think they will clean up there act at the last minute.?

15 minutes, then it will be sent in, I can take the waiting, it is the lack of information after being told quite blatantly last week that these things would ship Monday.  I gave notices saying I would ask for a refund unless new information was posted about updated timelines and that has failed to be done, as such, it is out of my hands soon.

My refund email is already fired off.

Couldn't take it anymore....

another shengzhen fuck machine ?

Black Arrow 2.0?

could well be, I would guess BA is flat ass broke and with people demanding refunds left and right they might see this as the quickest way to keep their ponzi going

So MS, any estimation of the shipment? I won't tell you how to run your business, but a little information goes a long way. If you give a date, update us as the date gets closer. If you give a date, then remain silent, and delivery doesn't happen, it makes you look like a liar. Thanks.

I guess it's getting time for the refund option indeed. Unfortunately, I have to knock on BA's door...

+1

Now we pretty much know they're not even shipping the X1's, otherwise they'd be in here bragging about nonsense per usual.

If there would be deliveries, there would be public tracking numbers and pictures of pallets full of miners around to ease the ppl that funded all this mess.
I don't talk about those handful unfinished units that a few got.

Just got a reply from MS about my refund request. I have been added to the refund queue. When I asked about the queue length it was explained that MS was making refunds out of pocket and the queue was based on sales, as BA was holding not only customer monies but MS monies also. It was stated that MS has issued 100,000$ in refunds to date. The correspondence was polite and easy. It makes me feel bad for the guys at MS, it seems they are getting hammered from both ends.

I've sent them a email stating if I don't get confirmation of delivery this week I'll want a refund. Sorry chaps can't hold out no longer.

Giving MS the benefit of the doubt until 4-5PM Eastern for a tracking #, then it's off to refund land.

Yeah, but there's nothing preventing them from posting an update or revision to their June 25th statement that at least batch 1 would be delivered to customers. So really, they've had 5 days to confirm or deny the fact of whether they would be shipping or not. The student is learning the silent technique from the master. Smiley

Bobsag3, can you comment as to whether you will be receiving/shipping units today?

All's quiet on Facebook also...

Right, At this point I want them to price match what is currently available on the market and refund the difference.  I'd rather have my BTC back than try to recover it with extra compensation hardware that just costs me more to run and to get set up.

I think 2 X2 compensation units per X1 makes it worthwhile.

IDK, its almost to the point that any compensation just isn't worth it.  Sure it may pay out more bitcoin after many months, but you still have to be able to run them.  If someone purchased 10 X-1's back in 2013, they were expecting .55 watts or even .75 watts at the wall (as that is what is still advertised on their website) which would be between 550 and 750 watts, now, for those same 10 X-1's, we are looking at each one using 120 watts ish (I think that's what it was), which would be 1200 watts total.  Now if you start adding compensation on to that, and for the sake of argument they really under deliver on compensation and only give 2x the number ordered, now you have 30 X-1's and are using 3600 watts of power.  That is a much bigger cooling bill, and you have to find some place that you can spread 30 of these things out (since they do not stack and their is no immediate design/plan to stack them), while still being able to supply almost 4 kw of electricity to the space.  It just isn't practical unless you want to pay for hosting, which seriously diminishes returns and guarantees no success of a positive ROI.

Refund request submitted. I know it's not MinerSource's fault but I just can't fall for these bullshit lies anymore. I know my order is small fries compared to some of you but it's time I took a stand instead of being treated like a door mat by BA
