I bet BFL will deliver the Monarch before BA delivers a single X3.

I bet 100 BTC, that BA will not deliver X3s to me in the "next week".

Many of the people here defending BA are doing so only because they think it will get them something. They're probably right too considering how BA is playing favorites with shipping priority. No one who has any integrity will defend BA at this point.

What is the surprise they were talking of?

More delays?

SURPRISE!!! Roll Eyes Roll Eyes Roll Eyes

Paraphrasing from their last update, "we don't think you should wait any longer to know the surprise, but it is not the optimal time to reveal it...drr"

Lol i totally laughed when i read that the first time, and again when you put it out there! It really makes them look like a bunch of fraudulent dick holes. Dangling that proverbial carrot. The biggest surprise would be that they are refunding everyone their money and sending them the miners as well. That would be the only thing that would legitimately surprise me at this point. I would be very distraught if i had ordered an x-3 or a few of them. Hoping for the best for everyone still involved!

I still have two x-1's that i ordered from BA directly back in sept. That is why i keep dickin around here, if anyone was wondering. Ya think they would have sent me an email about my 15 days of free hosting, since they supposedly have the units in hand. Nope. Notta word. I fucking love it man;

"Prospero X-1 (100Ghash/second)Options: Payment option: 100% in advance; Hosting: 15 days (FREE)  $269.00"

Yeah, my fucking s1s aren't even going to sell for 270, and they are almost twice the speed. I love how people defend these scum bags, like they feel some obligation to defend black arrow because if they don't then by proxy they were just as ignorant as ba for believing their lies. After all, it was a pre-order, we should have expected to be fucked by people with no scruples, because ya know, pre-order. That is so far from the truth. Everyone here was fucking taken. Highway robbery? This is beyond gross negligence and incompetence. I really hope these cock suckers get what they have coming to them. A month or two delay, fine. These is NO excuse for what took (is taking) place. NONE. Plenty of other companies got it right, Black arrow, you failed. Although that is only true under the assumption that they were trying to produce hardware and NOT run a scam. If they were trying to scam people, i guess it went rather well for them.

I am crossing my fingers that they will finally start processing our refunds  Undecided

Same here, I got so many email conversations about the refund yet nothing so far. Just send back the $'s I'm done with this whole bitcoin game.
Mining is only for people who are already rich. Thinking about going all PoS which is the future, peercoin, mintcoin, blackcoin.

I think they're not planning on refunding anything.

there is no justifiable reason why they haven't done so already, their utterly lame and obviously false excuses aside.  it seems more likely to me that they will simply ship these now useless pieces of shit when they have them and refuse the refunds.  I may be wrong although I highly doubt it.

at this point the only way to get a refund is hiring an attorney I think.  I've asked for the umpteenth time for an update on this and am giving it till Monday and will then hire an attorney in Shenzhen to get my money out of these people.  sucks and is a waste of money, but there is no alternative at this point other than trusting them, which seems to me to be outright stupid.

I've retained IPG Legal with good results in something unrelated.   I believe they have offices in Hong Kong and Shinzen

Does anyone know if minersource actually got a shipment. If not all of the refund threats are really useless.

The point is that they said on Wednesday that they are getting a shipment in on Monday that would include all of batch 1 x1s. They have been asked several times to confirm this or to revise as necessary. They have chosen not to respond. Seeing as it takes several days to ship, they would have recieved tracking info by Thursday or Friday at the latest. So, since they have not come out and said that they haven't received this tracking, then everything must be on schedule. Right? Otherwise it would be quite deceptive.

I look forward to receiving my tracking info on Monday.   Grin

When I spoke to them yesterday afternoon they hadn't even had a tracking number so I would say no.

better everyday ♥
Unfortunately bobsag3 I may have to spring for a refund as well.  If I don't have a tracking number by the end of day Monday, a customer can only be so patient after a 5 month delay.

I believe an attorney/lawyer in Shenzhen could earn a fortune.

Since we haven't heard otherwise, the full batch 1 shipment is due to arrive at minersource on Monday.

Bobsag3 so seeing as I didn't get tracking info when will the next batch arrive to you.

I received a reply to this from Bobsag, and was told that units would be sent out Friday/Monday (more than likely Monday is my guess).
It will be Monday most likely, and shipment will contain at least all of Batch 1.

But, for some strange reason, I don't think this is the case. We'll see come Monday.

X1 1W/Gh @ 1200 Mhz (near promises) - 1W/Gh @ 1000 Mhz - 1W/Gh @ 800 Mhz ( it should do better, is it so difficult to tune Huh This is the only way left for batch 1 to reduce losses) .  X3 power draw.....unknow.  BUT they are developing X2.

It's looking like we're going to be strung along for another month or two before we get any closure to this long con.

I suspect closure will come in the form of bankruptcy (we get nothing) or shipment of a unit that's goes straight into the dumpster.

Edit:

I hate junk mail.

Ill happily dispose of any units people don't want :-)

Shipping: the shipping of the X-1 (Control Board) test batch has been completed. The production of X-1 (Batch1 and Batch2) is close to completion and shipping will resume within days. Please note that the X-1 (RPi) units have been discontinued and are no longer available on order.
The delivery for the boards for all X-1 currently on order will be completed by the SMT factory tonight. Product assembly for mass production is already booked.
Following a thorough reviewing, the X-3 backplane has been put in production. The first batch will be delivered this weekend. We have several designs to our disposal and we have to decide which one was the best choice. We will be able to inform our customers on the X-3 shipping schedule within a few days.
LCD - The software team are modifying the driver to work with our MCU. The LCD feature will be added to the miners within 10 days after the driver will be released. We kindly remind our customers that the LCD has been added on their request. Our initial design did not have this option which was added at the beginning of this year. However, once available, the LCD will be installed on all units regardless of the time of the order being placed.
X2 – First batch of Prospero X2 will be assembled and tested next week. More detailed updates on X2 will be provided with our next weekly progress update.
Wi-Fi – External antennas have been tested and Wi-Fi is working. Please note its functionality is linked to LCD/touchscreen functionality. Units with Wi-Fi will be delivered as soon as we have LCD available in our products.
Rent-A-Minion: the first site to host this service has been completed. The delivery for the mining equipment will be done in parallel with the shipping for Batch1 & Batch2. Customers will be notified when their quota will be available according to the shipping queue.
Compensation Package: this has proved to be a hot topic over the past few weeks. The internal assessment on a potential compensation package is under way and the final decision will be made public when the shipping of Batch1 and Batch2 will be completed.
Customer Service: it was reported to us that some of our customers who are not active on forums would be happy to receive the important notifications by email. We will also send newsletters to our customers when we post the progress update on our website. However only the subscribers to our Newsletters will receive email notifications.
Communications:  please note that we will suspend the weekly progress update as soon as the shipping for X-1 and X-3 Batch1 and Batch2 will be completed. All queries should be addressed to the Customer Service Team.
The surprise: there were various speculations regarding the nature of the surprise. We are not keen on sustaining the suspense any longer however we believe that the moment of disclosing the secret has to be well prepared so it can benefit our customers. Without disclosing any details, we can only ask for our customers to bear with us. We are hoping that the waiting will be worth it.

Another useless update. So when is the start date of delivery? When is the compensation, what and how? When is the refund?

Just saw their update:

Just hope the few days (X3) don't turn into a few weeks. This is killing my ROI.

ROI with 2TH??How is that possible?ROI of import taxes possibly Cheesy
